Rant: So tired. So, so sore. Both my back & my belly...it's been intense this week.
Rave: Our laundry room renos start today. It's our Christmas gift from my parents...I'm excited to have a more functional space!

I've got it in my head that I want some black body suits for him to wear under sweaters & such (instead of always the plain white ones)...& of course the only ones I can find cost too much. So I'm on a hunt.

This GTKY had me stumped for a minute this morning, & then I remembered that I have this one. It's my favourite because I had no idea it was going to happen that day. We were spending the afternoon skating with our best friends & their daughters (who were later all in our wedding party), & everyone was in on it but me. I was completely shocked. He was worried because there were a lot of people around, but in the moment it was such a blur & I only saw him.

One of my favorite candids of H and I is from college early on in our relationship. We're just dancing at a random house party, not a care in the world. I love it because it was the beginning. So much life ahead of us.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Appear to be entering a growth spurt for the triplets which means a rough few days of back pain, contractions, pressure, skin tightness, and being hungry
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Dr appt today and H can go! Would tour the NICU but I think H is too sick.

This isn't really a candid (I don't have many of those) but this is when H and I went to the MN-Husker game last year. We try to get to one away Husker game every year just the two of us and it means a lot to me that we have time together and it's something we both love (Husker football!). Plus, I got to meet some cool people on this trip.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I did my own math and thought I was hitting 3rd trimester tomorrow (because 40÷2=13.3 and 13.3×2=26.6) but I guess most people don't consider 3rd trimester to start until 28 weeks so boo! Rave: It's Friday!!!! Symptoms: Heartburn is so bad that it's causing nausea and I forgot my Tums at home

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: I have a long one today, bear with me. Our fucking neighbor who lives 4 houses down the road - I don't like him. At all. All he does is drink beer all day, and just recently got fired from his job for driving his company truck while he was completely hammered. Yet blames everyone but himself for why he can't go back to work. Not to mention he has a wife, and 2 kids - which they leave at home by themselves frequently to go down to the bar. Not the kind of people I want to surround myself with I guess, and H agrees. I got home from visiting my grandparents last night and said neighbor was standing in our driveway with H drinking a beer, because he just wandered over to see if any of us were outside and H is too nice to do anything else. Now I find out from other neighbors that the cops were at this guys house last week for the possibility that they are cooking meth. What in the actual fuck. We have lived in this neighborhood for almost 3 years, and I'm finding more and more reasons why I want to move now.

Rave - It's friday!
Rant - H is a consultant and his contract is in overburn (I think that's what he called it) so he's home today since the client only has enough money left to pay everyone for 4 days, not 5 a week. He's doing a training thing at 2 at his company's office but he was still in bed this morning when I left and it makes me sad. I also can work longer hours to finish things up today since he'll be home with the dog for a good part of the day. Double win, right? /sarcasm/
Symptoms - I must have slept on my hips weird because they're killing me!

I found one that I liked that I actually have with me, or at least the internet did. I think it really just is very "us" if that makes any sense.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: No rants today. Rave: It's Friday and my department is going to a Mexican restaurant for lunch and have been granted the rest of the day off!! Symptoms: Heartburn and a new one to me... horrible swelling. Looks better today but yesterday my feet were pouring out of my shoes and kept the shape of my shoes when I took them off...
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Cleaning out the boys rooms this weekend. Soon they will be sharing a room and baby will have a nursery!

@DeePaddy24 and @MrsB8214 I'm totally counting 27 weeks as the start of the third trimester! It makes me feel like I'm closer to the end even though I'm not actually any closer in reality. Plus it makes me not as bad for feeling winded after carrying the 20 lb dog up the stairs this morning (he was refusing to go up for some reason).

LOL Laughing at @kwife15 "stranger danger" SO True. Our wedding website was stalked SO much it was hilarious. Anyways - this is 5-6 months in our relationship. Random day trip to the beach, and I have no idea why my eyes are puffy, but I love it.

Cleaning. Trying to get the "nursery" back in shape to be painted since we used it as a playroom during the st pat's party.

Pretty sure I cracked a joke about shoving cake in his face and various threats were exchanged. I love this picture because it makes me remember how much fun we had that day.
@DeePaddy and @MrsB8214 - What to Expect says 27 weeks too. In the Week 27 video, the woman says "Welcome to the third trimester" and I yelled back at her to shut up and agree with other apps... and H looked at me very confused. So instead, I'm counting 27w4d as 3rd trimester. Compromise!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Either a cold or allergies... I'm not happy about either, but I'd prefer it's a cold so I can bail from work for a few days and get better instead of battling this crap for the next 3 months. Rant: It's probably allergies. Rave: I got all of our Easter cooking done last night! I am a huge fan of traditions and Easter is one of the big ones in my family, so I get excited to make ethnic dishes that my grandma makes... especially when they actually work (cooking is not my forte)!

There is a good one from our wedding that, like @hockeyfan42, had to do with a cake-smash (it happened, no regrets!). I like it because it was an awesome day and we actually look good in a picture (which is rare for us... we are just not photogenic).
Most of the time, we are the ones taking the pictures so there are a lot of us separately, but not together.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I woke up screaming from RLP last night. It was by far the worst one I've felt so far. Rave: H is taking me to a restaurant tonight with a fantastic buffet and the pregnant whale inside me is very excited. Both for the food and a nice date night. Symptoms: RLP, BH, swelling, poor sleep, back ache, hip hurt, etc.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Looking for a decal with his name on it for the nursery and then everything is done until after the shower.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: tired and hungry Rave: TGIF and decided to take the day off after my GD test. Symptoms: tired, back ache, heartburn starting to creep back up.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just got back from doing the GD test at the lab. The drink was not good, maybe because it was the orange flavor? It was cold though and I got it down as fast as I could. Crib came yesterday! Gah, I can't wait until next week when we have carpet in the nursery and I can finally start working on it. Gonna get artwork on etsy today.

He had a caricature done of us in Jackson Square in New Orleans and there were a ton of people walking by and some stopping to watch the artist draw it. I had no idea what it looked like but some people did stop and just watched the whole thing I guess as it became obvious what the artist was drawing (DH proposing). This was seconds after the proposal, snapped by a couple who watched the whole thing and were kind enough to send us (and take!) the photos. I'm tearing up thinking about it...darn pregnancy hormones!
Fun fact: The caricature was terrible! DH had researched caricature artists and this was his least favorite because of his style but since the trip was almost over, he was desperate. This was the first and only caricature artist we saw the whole week. We had another one done and displayed it at our wedding.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nothing new. I'll probably order the crib sheets and some prints for above his crib when I get paid next week. I'm trying to chill on the baby buying but the 50% off Carters emails are killing me every day I open them lol.

Okay well I don't know why the fuck it won't put my picture down here BUT. This is from our "first look." I think I love it so much because #1 we got so much flack for opting for this option. Everyone was telling us, "no. You'll regret it." "It's so much more special the 'right' way." We gave in until our photographer suggested it again for convenience purposes.
We were both a wreck all morning. H bawled during the first look (I have some wonderful photos of that but I'm pretty sure he'd stab me in the neck if I shared them) and we both just felt so much relief just being able to hang out together and chill before the ceremony. That relief really solidified that I had picked the right guy to do life with.
I also LOVE this GTKY.

This one is from a Blues game. It's tradition to go to a game on my birthday, and usually it's the last game of the year. This was my 30th birthday, we played Chicago (boo! hiss!), beat them mercilessly and clinched the division title. It was the best damn 30th birthday ever.

Since I've only gained 2 pounds (I don't know how that works!), I think I've been in denial with how big my belly has gotten! I just can't imagine what I'm going to look like in three months!! Also, I have to work today when I usually have Fridays off. Yeah, that sucks! Rave: Taking my DS to an Easter Egg hunt tomorrow, dying eggs tonight. I'm excited for Easter!! Symptoms: Just tired and uncomfortable!

I love this GTKY!! I love see everyone's pictures! My husband and I had planned our wedding for April, but thought it made sense to do a courthouse quickie marriage in October so he could get on my insurance. Only our families knew. This picture was taken the day after while Ghost Hunting (yeah, that's a whole GTKY of it's own!) with my cousins! It was such a great time for us!! Sorry it's so big!!

- Paint walls (includes shit-load of prep: spackle, taping, covering EVERYTHING)
- Sand, stain new drawer boxes, and poly if time permits
- Sand, Prime window bench doors
- Shim out electrical outlets/replace some in prep for tile
- Install backsplash (at least get the tiles on the wall, grouting may happen Monday)
I don't think this is entirely realistic, but we'll get a huge chunk done at least. Priorities are the wall paint and backsplash since they're the most time-consuming.
I couldn't imagine being locked up, hiding from H until the ceremony. We both still had to take a shot despite the first look before I walked down the aisle. We would've been totally smashed up there if we had waited, lol.

I love this GTKY. There are a million pics I could post, but I will go with this one. It was taken about 4 years ago while we were out with friends celebrating our engagement. We were so happy & excited. And we are still that excited to spend the rest of our lives together

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: H is talking about moving us to a new state and he keeps looking at real estate above our budget and getting me all excited about one town, and then just when I've wrapped my mind around it, he gets obsessed with some other town and starts telling me all the things that are wrong with the place I've gotten excited about. I'm ready to strangle him. Also, the girl I know who always harrasses me about ItWorks on fbook stalked all my photos last night and liked about 15 of them (going back 5 years), super weird. Rave: No real raves today Symptoms: snissing like its my job, always hungry

Rave- I think my 8-year old niece is coming down for a sleep over!! She's been begging me for the last few months, but now that I don't work Saturdays anymore, we can actually have her over. Plus, she really wants to help do some things with the nursery, so I might take her to the store and get the wall vinyls from the registry.
Symptoms- baby girl is completely sideways and I can actually see her head pushing on my sides....
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Resting, lots of fluids, and going to look at carriers later. Hospital tour is next month.

Our save the date!!! At that exact moment, he was telling me how much he hated me because he hates pictures. Lol. And he was standing with one foot in the big pile of snow. It was a weird "winter" we had, as it snowed at a lower level than normal.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: sleeping sucks. All I do is flip from side to side.. All. Night. Long. Ugh. Work is tiring too... I work 13 hour shifts in a busy surgical intensive care unit and around 2pm I just hit a wall. (Sitting here drinking iced tea on my lunch break at 2pm currently lol)
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We picked out her hospital clothes/going home outfit yesterday and packed her diaper bag with them. Other than that just doing little projects with the nursery. Our shower is the 30th of April.
