The "I didn't know I was pregnant" issue - always blew my mind, always figured it was fake until recently - I now know two people personally who did not know. (I am still skeptical!) Number 1 is a friend of mine who I regularly saw and hung out with (and unfortunately drank with). She got a little belly on her after a while but we chalked it up to a beer belly. She's very tall and slender, but athletic and had stopped working out as much so that's why we figured it was a beer belly. Her periods were never normal but she had them almost the entire time. One night she woke up with a horrible pain in her lower right side so her mom took her to the ER - they figured it was her appendix. The doctor did some tests and told her she was dilated to 10 and she was about ready to push. 10 minutes later a very healthy baby boy was born. I believe he weighed about 6.8 or so. She had an anterior placenta and the doctor said she must have been carrying in her back. He put her at full term since the baby was 6.8 pounds. Her mom swears up and down they didn't know. Thank God he was healthy with all that beer she drank!!!!
Number 2 - a 46 year old (at the time) attorney I work with found out she was pregnant at about 7 months. She had been training for a marathon and her period was sporadic but she figured it was the training and beginning of menopause. She is shorter, kinda chubby but athletic. One day she had it with the awful heartburn she had been having so she went to the doctor and they told her she was pregnant. About 3 weeks later she ended up going into labor and had her son prematurely but now he is 13 months and healthy/happy as ever.
I actually wanted to ask you about this.. A few weeks ago there was a story about little girl that called 911 to have someone help her put her pants on. Did you see this? Everything thought it was soooo cute and funny. It pissed me off. Thats tax payers dollars spent since a cop was dispatched. How do you handle these wack jobs
Used to be drinking. Now, I just laugh until I cry.

I sometimes will throw the C word into a convo with someone if I know it will get someone worked up. Mean, I know..but its just a word. So my UO is, I use the C word occasionally...
I had a good gif for it, but I would rather not get reported... only one week until my warnings are lifted so trying to be a good girl!
I have a block from the word so I say "see you next Tuesday." I have to be very mad and really loathe the person...I can think of some actually.

I hate/loathe/cannot with toddler sized or even little girl sized heels. They give me the major icks. As I have been searching for Easter shoes for my daughter, they are everywhere.
I hate baby/toddler heels! I also cannot stand when people put make-up on little kids. My cousin lets her older daughter put make-up on her 3 year old and it bothers me so much. I plan on keeping DD (and DD#2) a little girl for as long as I can! I also want her to know she's beautiful exactly the way she is, and no amount of make-up is going to make her feel better about herself.
Didn't know they were pregnant - this happened to someone I'm friends with on FB. She found out after she and her boyfriend were in a car accident and she went to the hospital to get looked over. I can't remember how far along she was when she found out, I think somewhere in second tri, and the symptoms she'd been having up until that point were fairly normal for her (sporadic periods, no drastic weight gain outside of normal, etc.)

DD has been living in her TOMS. They've been having them for super cheap a lot lately on Zulily. Also, I don't know if you have one near you but Nordstrom Rack has toddler ones for $15.

Darn it! I've been trying my best to avoid Nordstrom Rack lately and I'm definitely going there tomorrow now. DD had a pair of TOMS last year and she loved them!
Ohhhh... this is not going to win me any brownie points and not quite sure why I'm bothering. I should save it for my Friday confession... but...
Prior to pregnancy I used to dip (skoal) I know. Terrible, gross, disgusting habit. Please spare me. I know. But my ex got me hooked on it years ago and I grew up in the country (there wasn't much to do!) so it remained my go to stress relief.
So my UO is... I miss it! Although I don't plan to re-start after pregnancy. I do, however, plan to resume my wine intake though.
No judgement from me. When things would get rough, a coworker and I would "go to the breakroom" outside and smoke either weed or cigars (always after work and we would never treat patients or drive after toking...we lived in an apartment walking distance from the nursing home we worked at). I miss smoking and am soooo jealous when my sister gets some good quality weed. But I gave it up when I got married, even though I recently found out MH was a total pothead in high school and college! He had been holding out on me because he assumed I was this goody-goody and would lose all respect for him. When we first got the date of 4/20 for the RCS, a bunch of his friends started calling the baby Whitney because the man who officiated our wedding, who has been like a second father to MH and who is one of the most well-respected guys in MH's industry was their supplier and still likes to wake-n-bake! Oh, and his name is Whitney.
I am definitely guilty of smoking weed back in the day. I stopped when I met my husband. He's never even smoked weed!! Can't believe it. I still feel like he needs to at least try it once in his life. Does that make me a bad person? lol Maybe if it becomes legal here he can try it.

My DH described these as giving babies "Miss Piggy feet" which I thought was hilariously accurate.
Oh, and they actually do make them for little babies, not just toddlers.

@kp90 sadly, they are real and purchasable. I saw a Facebook add for them at first. Why Facebook thought I would be interested, I have no idea (especially as a boy mom!)
My UO (that it took me until today to realize) is that I don't like the phrase "get my body back" when talking about getting (back) into shape after having a baby. This is my body. It looks different, but if I don't claim it as mine then I'm spending almost a year in a strangers body, and that to me just makes the whole pregnancy thing harder.
