Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Feeling more little movements, but it's interesting I felt my son much stronger at this point than baby #2. Makes me think I probably have an anterior placenta (bummer!) but won't know for sure til a/s on 3/31.
Questions?
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? I'm not a big fan of reality shows - we actually don't even get any live channels (we do Netflix only) so I'm not familiar with what's out there these days. I used to watch Top Chef a lot though, so maybe that would be fun. As a judge though, not a contestant - haha.
How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Baby is the size of a Sugar Glider or a slingshot.
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? For the first time this morning I can honestly say I felt the flutters!!!
Questions? Any good ideas on how to relieve rlp?
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? If I could be a judge it would be any of the talent shows like The Voice, American Idol, or Chopped. If I was a contestant it would be Big Brother or The Real World.
@jamiesc58 I wish I did have tips. I have what I was calling RLP about 80% of the time. My doc actually corrected me - she said RLP is the super sharp temporary pains. I actually have just the dull achiness that's the uterus expanding. I thought they were the same thing, but nope. Mine just feel like period cramps and I haven't found anything that makes them better. Which do you have?
@tisunge602 it must be the uterus expanding because it isn't usually just the temporary sharp pains. It is constant at night and most of the time reminds me of period cramps. I wonder if a belly support would help? I don't remember it ever getting this bad with my other pregnancies.
At my last appointment I asked my OB for suggestions for relief. I was having the same problem. She suggested belly support. She said it should help hold your uterus close in and that should relieve some of the pain.
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? 2 weeks ago we had an elective ultrasound where we were told we are having a girl. We had our anatomy scan today and we are actually having a boy. We are shocked!!!
Questions?
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? Probably the challenge on MTV.
How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Mango. How yummy does that sound?!
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? None as of right now. Just headaches really. But, I blame that more on allergies than baby.
Questions?
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? Psh. I have zero talents. So I know I wouldn't be good on any of those shows. But I I would totally rock being a judge on any cooking show. Especially Cupcake Wars

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? a pomegranate, baby bok choy or a weasel!
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? We found out Friday that the baby is a girl!
Questions? I'm feeling out of breath just sitting at my desk - I made a note to ask my midwife on Friday how much of that is normal and if/when I should be concerned (Dr. Google has this as fun symptoms for things like high blood pressure, pneumonia or a pulmonary embolism).
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? Probably Top Chef because I love to cook (not that I'm at all qualified to be on there now!).
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Finally got a few good kicks last night and they were strong enough DH even got to feel one! Makes everything so much more real!
Questions?
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? Cake wars! I love decorating cakes. I wish my skills were fierce enough.
How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Pomegranate
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? So excited that everything went well with our ultrasound and that we are having a boy!
Questions?
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? Maybe one of those baking competition ones? I love to bake and am kinda decent at it.
Feeling blah this morning but so excited to hit 20 weeks today and after a great a/s last week!
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick?
I would fail out on the first show but I love the Great British Baking Show so I'd like to give it a shot in the beautiful outdoor baking tent with the silver fox and Mary Berry.
How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Pomegranate or carrot
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms?
The heartburn. It never ends.
Questions? Has anyone tried compression socks to help with tired feet and legs? Mine constantly feel like I just ran 12 miles.
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? House Hunters International if we win the lottery. Otherwise, Masterchef! I wouldn't make it past the first episode but I'm totally down with having Gordon Ramsey swear at me.
How big is baby (fruit size or other)? pomegranate
Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Not sure about the rest of you, but I do not like being pregnant. I feel like i've been transported into someone else's body. Today I feel like a balloon that is 2 puffs of air away from popping. I swear, I don't know how much more I can grow in the next 19 weeks. I am so unbelievably uncomfortable.
Questions? nope
GTKY: If you could be on the cast of any reality show, which would you pick? I've been watching Amazing Race and Survivor since they first aired, so one of those. Probably Amazing Race though, I don't have the stamina for Survivor.
@BritMC18 I totally feel you on not liking being pregnant. When I was pregnant with DD it was such a smooth pregnancy but this one is just one thing after another, it really makes me not want to be pregnant again.
@BritMC18 I forgot about the Amazing Race! Changing my answer.
So sorry you're not enjoying pregnancy. Nothing to feel guilty about; it's definitely not for the faint of heart. Try to keep your eye on the prize and enjoy the little things like feeling baby move!
Bump-date! I felt the baby move for the first time last night! It felt more like a windsheild wiper going across my stomach. But how amazing! I'm in love
first time momma -a heart at peace gives life to the body-
@Lynnlove28 - this is going to be our only pregnancy, so I was really hoping it would be one of those "rainbow and sunshine" ones you always hear mamas talking about. No such luck.
@tisunge602 - Amazing Race is the best I wish I could focus on the baby moving - 21.5 weeks and still nothing. Apparently my placenta is to blame, it's all up in the front and blocking the feels.
