I've been painting over spring break. Once DH finishes the last of the wall repair I'll hang these. I've also painted and decorated letters for her name but those are a secret.
Honestly, I kind of hate the color combo. Both fabrics are lovely by themselves, but orange and green together give me the heebie jeebies. Maybe they match better in person?

I feel the same way. Individually they're nice, together not so much. Maybe something in a yellow with the orange fabric?
@sprocketsngadgets@AGK2015 Yeah... I think I fell in love with the orange fabric and just desperately wanted it to go with the green, since that's the green they are using for their nursery. I think I'm just going to find a new backing for the orange (maybe just get a soft white fabric, like a faux swirl fur or just a white version of the green) and then find something else to go with the green. Maybe a yellow floral. This is why you ask people before sewing things together and why you shouldn't craft while emotional.
DS is my blanket tester, and his one is by far his favorite. I like to put out a few blankets and ask him to bring me HIS blanket, and 80% he grabs this one.
It's super adorable because he says "bankie" instead of "blankie" and that's how our last name is pronounced.
I'm not sure how I feel about this light yellow. Thoughts?
I'm not sure how I feel about it. I feel like it should be just slightly more saturated? I don't know. I love how the bump is peaking in at the bottom though
Since I don't have the baby yet I put a stuffed animal in my newly knitting baby sack! I finished this in 2 days but for those fast knitters, you could do it in a few hours. Simple knit in the round with a few decreases and you're done! It will likely only get used once for a newborn picture but I had extra yarn and some time on my hands so if she uses it once, that's fine by me!
Finally getting far enough to post a progress picture of the blanket I'm making for this little girl... it's a new stitch for me, and it's really neat! Not sure which is the front and which is the back because they are both interesting in their own way. This won't be done before she gets here, but since it's so hot in Phoenix she won't need it for a while anyway.

It's finally finished!
