Bellefit PSA

We had a lengthy conversation about this a few months ago but for some reason I can't link the original discussion (someone please feel free to add the link).

Anyway, the Bellefit postpartum girdles (all styles) are way on sale, plus you get another $20 off and a free compression tank in your choice of color with the code get20. I placed my order today and got free shipping as well (within the U.S.).

Just an FYI  ;)

Re: Bellefit PSA

  • Picking mine up this weekend!!! Had to get it delivered to the states to avoid $50 shipping! Very excited though. Totally worth the ridiculous exchange rate to Canada and the drive across the border if you ask me :)
  • Loading the player...
  • I just ordered mine too - so pumped! and the website has a really good sizing guide, too.
  • No choice here, will have to pay the crazy shipping to Canada :( I did the sizing thing, and I'm literally at the upper limit for my size (half an inch and two pounds more, and I have to go up one size). What would you ladies do? I'm thinking if anything I might have a hard time fitting in it the first few days, but then should be able to squeeze in if I just go with my size and not the one up?
  • @KidShrink FTM so I could be wrong but I would go with the size up rather than trying to squeeze into the smaller size. I feel like this will be uncomfortable enough already!

I would probably size up but I saw some thing the other day about a woman who purchased the corset one and couldn't get it done up and they sent her an extender piece or something...so that could be an option...
  • I ended up just ordering that size, as I'm supposed to fit in it. From the reviews I read, it seems like those who went one size up ended up also needing to get the smaller size after a week or so. So considering that I *should* be fitting in it and that I'll be getting the compression tank anyway, I figure I can just wear the tank the first few days (will be bleeding all kinds anyway, so not sure I'd want the girdle up my crotch then).

How did you decide your shape? I've always been terrible about that.

  • @doozer1345 : your specific shape doesn't seem to change that much which they recommend (with my measurements anyway). I pretty much got the dual closure or corset option (note that I selected 'unsure' for birth, just in case I end up needing to have a c-section...no indication of that, but you never know). Just figure out from your pre-pregnancy shape what are/were the largest/smallest part of you. Personally, my hips and shoulders are pretty much the same width, and I have a smaller waist, so that's hourglass.

Use the pics as your guide. I have a really small waist too so went with hourglass.

The corset and the double closure work for all shapes! Just avoid the pull on unless you really don't have much in the way of hips.

  • The return policy makes me hesitant of ordering. Even if I follow the guide if it doesn't fit im kind of out of luck...
  • I'm borderline between small and medium.  Do you think I should size down?

You can return with 30 days so you could just wait a while to order.

I also did the size guide with a few different measurements and body types (added a couple of inches to my hips... just in case) and did two of the "shapes" I thought my body might fit into and ended up with the same results each time so that made me feel confident I was picking the right one.

"Send back your product along with your return form within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price. We only accept returns for items that have not been used or worn, modified, altered, or washed. The product’s tags must still be attached, and the packaging intact"

So, if I try it on, I basically can't return it.  Hmmmm...just not sure how much I would use it or how beneficial it would be.  Guess I've got some reading to do!

    Stuck in quote box....

i did exactly the same thing so I could be confident I wasn't sitting on the cusp of one size!
  • I wish the international shipping on these wasn't so insane. To boot, if it doesn't fit and I have to return and get a new one I still pay both the shipping costs. :(  Wonder if there is a product in NZ that is as good as this one apparently is.
  • I got the corset and compression tank for $88 with free shipping! Thank you OP for posting this and @kbrands7 for being a pusher ;)
