Re: Unconventional baby names

  • Josephine an Harris complete the sibset best. Some of those seem odd choices considering your current kids names.

  • I like Josephine,  Kathleen, Harris, and Felix best.
  • Josephine, Juliet or Harris

  • I like Margo and Juliette the best from your girls list. Kathleen is nice too (I prefer Katherine though.)

I'm not really a fan of any of your boys names. I do like Lucien and Felix but I feel like these would be tough names to go though life with (maybe I'm wrong though.) Lucien reminds me of Lucifer and Felix reminds me of the cat.
  • Thank you for the input! I'm curious to know which ones strike you as odd considering the sib set. It's hard for me to get out of my own head on this. All of the names listed are family names so they all seem to make sense to me. Curious to know your thoughts.
  • I like Felix and Josephine
  • Juliette and Harris.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
  • I'm back to say the above are my favorites, but I also like Josephine, Brody (not Broderick though), Lucien and Felix. I know several young boys named Felix. I disagree that it is a hard name to go through life with.

  • I don't like Eris and Ginger and they don't fit well with Jackson and Eloise. All your other girl names are nice. Josephine is my favorite.
Monroe and Lucien doesn't seem to fit either and Felix is all cat to me. I like Harris and Broderick.

  • Broderick was my boy name so I have to go with that.
i like Margo but you wouldn't go wrong with Josephine either as its definitely a classic in my book. Love Eris! that's one name I never thought of when naming my daughter and I went through a million names it felt like!
  • josephine
do not like any of the boy names
  • I like Margo or Josephine and Harris.
  • Margo and Felix
  • Josephine, then Margo (though I prefer Margot).

Harris or Felix (went to hs with a Felix, so I have no problem seeing it on an adult). Brody is fine, but not a fan of Broderick (I just think Matthew Broderick).

    Josephine and Felix
  • Margo and Broderick. Brody is our ds's name so I am pretty partial to it.  :)
  • Toss between your girl names, Margo (prefer Margaux) and Josephine and Felix for a boy.  BTW, love Eloise, that's my DD1 name.

I would toss Eris and Ginger. I don't think they go with the others.

  • Kathleen hour Harris have my vote.
  • Felix and Eris. Never heard of Eris before. It sounds male on the ear. But it's pretty and could suit a girl.
  • Margo (although I prefer Margot) & Broderick

I think for girls Josephine & Eris are the best match to the siblings. And they are great names stand alone as well!

For or boys I think Harris & Felix!

  • Juliette, Broderick, Monroe, Lucien. I like Kaeleen too
  • Margot and Juliette, but as far as boy names I might go back to the drawing board. Josephine is very popular, but so are Jackson and Eloise. I'm not sure why you think your kids names are unconventional in the slightest. They're nice.
  • Josephine, Juliette, Margo  (in that order)

Harris, Monroe, Lucien (tho I prefer Lucian with the 'A')

  • I prefer Margo (but i prefer Margot) and Brody for a boy
