GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? I'm one of those annoying Christmas lovers that start cleaning to Christmas music the day after Halloween, but I absolutely love the 4th of July, too.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I ate some bad cheese last night causing me to get sick at 5am despite the cheese being unopened and still good. Also, waiting to feel the baby move more frequently than every other week.

How many weeks today? 18w yesterday (are there no other Friday ticker changes? I always feel awkward starting my own thread, would anyone else post if I do next Friday??)

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Went to my new OBs office last week and absolutely loved them. Very differnt vibe from my last practice so I'm looking forward to spending lots of time with them over the next 5 months.

My rant/symptom are my varicose veins. They are totally acting up and it's annoying. I have to wear full compression stockings under my pants every day to make my legs feel almost normal.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving. Something about everyone gathering for a big home cooked meal and just hanging out and eating. And just about everyone participates no matter what religion they are

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I have a cold right now that's super fun. Achy, sore throat and stuffy head. I went to a clinic and the doctor basically just prescribed Tylenol? If things don't start improving in a day or two I'm going to another doctor.

Questions? @squishy0511 I'm honestly drinking one or two bottles of water a day. I feel like this is an area where I really struggle. But then I recently saw my doctor and she said everything looks great. So I am not too worried about it, but I could be doing better.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Definitely Thanksgiving and Christmas. Those are really the only holidays we go all out for.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Baby is getting really strong with the kicks and rolling, which is good and bad (a little uncomfortable sometimes). We had to finish our registry this weekend since my mom is planning a baby shower for the end of April!

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Christmas since everyone gets together and there's so much giving. Most people are in such a good mood, too! And I have so many good memories with grandparents that have passed.

Halloween.. I'm so happy that I'll have a baby to dress up this year. I love everything creepy. She might have to be dressed as Coraline because I'm pretty sure that will be her name.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Still dealing with this stupid cough. My primary says it is normal to be coughing after being sick for much longer than non-pregnant women.

Only frustrating part is that it makes me lose meals (aka puke) and it makes it hard to lay down & sleep or be intimate with my hubby.

Questions? So... I think I am paranoid, but am I the only one who checks the tp every time I go to the bathroom, just to make sure there is nothing funky?

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? That's a tough one. I don't know that I have a favorite, but I am fond of any that let me give presents to people w/o them thinking I am weird!

(I give people random presents all the time, and some people think it really strange. Like the "this makes me think of so-and-so, I should give it to them" kinda thing. On present-giving holidays, it is easier to get away with it.)

@squishy0511 - I don't know how much water/fluids I am drinking since I am not good at tracking it. Coughing so much lately makes it hard to keep things down, so I am sure I am waaay under-hydrated. I think there is a special equation to use to figure out how much water to drink, but idk for certain.

@bookhousegirl & @Hannah0726 - I hear you on the cold bit. I have been done with having a cold for some time, but still have what my doc calls "post-cold cough." She says that it takes some time for the mucous membranes to realized they don't need to produce so much (not sick), and it takes even longer for pregnant ladies. The sickie bug I caught is a cough everyone at work had and lingers 3-4w for non-pregnant people. Good luck with feeling better!!

@satto_takai you are not alone with the TP check, I consider it a victory that my hand stopped shaking each time around 18 weeks.

@squishy0511 I don't keep track anymore but I used an app called "plant nanny" to help train myself early on.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Fatigue, leg cramps, and a little nausea. I can feel flutters from time to time now.

Questions? Why does my belly always seem to be a different size? My ob says it's likely gas, but as I don't feel gassy I wonder what else could be going on.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Toss up - sometimes it's Christmas and at other times it's Valentine's Day.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Feeling a bit of movement here and there, but not consistent. Had a terrible headache on Sunday, but I think it was dehydration.

@satto_takai You're definitely not alone in checking the TP. I do it every time too. In the early weeks, I ran to the bathroom whenever I felt the slightest discharge.

@squishy0511 Not enough! Hence the headaches. I'm trying to do better today and am almost up to 40 oz before lunch. I find it very hard to stay hydrated when I am busy at work and chasing my toddler at home.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Hmm.. pre-kids it was New Years, but now I can't stay up that late, lol. I guess Christmas? I also like the May long weekend (Victoria Day here), because it is near my wedding anniversary and we often go on a little weekend excursion somewhere.

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Mango though from the anatomy scan, she's a bit of a chunk and is measuring bigger on everything.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I think this little girl has made herself comfortable on my bladder. She's just like her brother.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Generally I'd say Christmas. Though, after having a kid, it's so hectic visiting everyone. Last year we took out a few celebrations and it was much, much more relaxed. Which was nice.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? flutters were felt the day I hit 17 weeks in the morning. Can't wait until they become more regular. That and I had an appointment last week for my 2nd trimester screen and everything was extremely low risk and baby sounded perfect on the doppler. So thrilled!

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Halloween but St Patricks day actually comes close too, it's the irish blood and my hometown has a huge celebration so it's a blast.
