Had some cramping this morning and now I'm spotting. Not just dark brown. There's some red too. WAiting to hear back from RE. Trying not to think of the worst.

RE got back to me. Too early (5w4d) to really see anything on u/s and beta won't give them anything. So she just wants to monitor the bleeding. If it gets worse - I go in for ultrasound tomorrow morning.

Thinking of you. I just went through something very similar, brown spotting with cramping and then light pink. I went to my Dr this morning for an ultrasound, and although very early at 6wks3days, there was a small speck and a heartbeat. He said we are okay for now. Hopefully this helps give you some hope. As long as you aren't bleeding too much, you may still be okay. Good luck and sending positive vibes.

Thanks for all the thoughts ladies. The bleeding has stopped for now which they think is a good sign. Stayed mostly brown with just bits of red. Cramping comes and goes but just feels like am about to get my period which they say is "normal" first tri cramping. Since it stopped, they want me to wait Til next Friday for ultrasound. Long wait ahead. Hoping the bleeding stays away.
