Hi All,
I'm 12.5 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I've had some morning sickness though not bad at all! Anyway I'm told that it is supposed to start getting better now but in the past two weeks it has gotten progressively worse. Is anyone else having this? Any thoughts?

I hate that 'stuck in your throat' feeling and had a terrible last few days of sickness that it actually got me worried and I went to see midwife yesterday. Relieved everything is ok with baby and got to hear the HB for the first time.
Midwife said if it continues then the doctor will prescribe something to help and just to monitor that im not becoming dehydrated if I cant keep food or water down.
It seems to have eased up now but cant wait till it stays away!
16 weeks tomorrow too...
im 21 weeks and if I skip my diclegis I'll have MS back in full force. Yep not all things go by the books
This time I had days of nausea and lots of food aversions, but for the most part it's been tolerable. Then at 13 weeks, things got crazy. The nausea is really bad and I'm pretty much vomitting every other day. I'm really hoping that it slows down or goes away. I forget how miserable it is feeling like this. Just since last night, I threw up 3 times. If I drink water, forget about it. I am 15w1d today.
I'm hoping that it will stop eventually! I hope yours does as well
With my first pregnancy I had no sickness, no symptoms period throughout pregnancy. I gained 50 lb, but otherwise I probably could have been on the show "I didn't know I was pregnant". I thought there was something wrong because I was never sick...for anyone else who doesn't have morning sickness--count yourself lucky!
With the second I was still pretty OK. From ~9-14 weeks I would have off days, I wouldn't really say morning sickness, but certain smells would get me. We had 3 consultants from India in our office and they would heat up their Indian Cuisine every day, the smell would fill the building and I'd be so grossed out. I wouldn't say I was ever that nauseous, just a little bit when I'd think of certain foods or smell certain things.
This time from 6-9 weeks I felt gross all day every day. I never threw up, but felt off, tired, no food sounded good. I could eat bagels, Cheetos, Jolly ranchers or Gin-Gins to calm my stomach, potatoes...basically bland carbs. From then until now (12 weeks 3 days) I've had evening ick feeling. So I get home from work sit down with my family and start to feel gross, and it got worse this last week. I love the show FRIENDS and I laugh because when Phoebe is pregnant she says "you know morning sickness, well I get mine at night." Well that seems to be me! I really have nothing to complain about, I haven't thrown up and it could always be worse.
You'll likely get better and return more to your normal self soon. Remember 2nd trimester doesn't technically begin until 14 weeks. And there are some women who do feel sick into their 2nd or even 3rd trimester, this isn't the norm but it does happen. Hang in there!

Lots & lots of good luck. Everything will be ok.

Like obviously I've tried that. @nmtaylor1616
Last 2 weeks it's come back and the last few days I've only been able to eat bland starchy stuff. I'm 17w tomorrow and hope it improves soon.
Zofran helps but I don't want to take it too often.
Heres hoping my September buddies start feeling better soon!
Glad I ran into this thread again today, I was feeling really down about it for some reason and not that I'm "glad" others are still suffering but it is a bit comforting to know I am not alone at the moment.
Edit: I only half way answered you! The GERD comes and goes for me. Sometimes for weeks at a time I will have problems and then nothing. I take ranitidine for it. Lately I've been using Zantac 150 and it helps for the most part as long as I remember to take it way before eating and then don't eat too much.
