Re: *2nd Tri Check-in Week of March 14*
I love Parks & Rec, and @riveridgional, I recommend you check out Parks and Rings (https://parksandrings.tumblr.com/) if you're also into LOTR. It's pretty amazing.
My dream Treat Yo'self Day would consist of brunch downtown, buying as many DVF wrap dresses as my hands could carry, a new purse from Coach (fine leather goods), going to Bliss spa and getting an oxygen facial and a lengthy massage, dinner at a favorite restaurant, and then falling asleep in some kind of insanely comfortable cashmere pajamas.
My actually possible Treat Yo'self Day would consist of brunch downtown, a new dress if I can find a good sale, a prenatal massage with the gift certificates my Mom got me (yay, Mom!), and some excellent Indian takeout from my favorite restaurant. Still sounds good to me.
I am just anxiously awaiting my anatomy scan on Friday. Seriously, is it Friday yet!!?? The baby has been kicking so much more the last two days, and DH felt it multiple times last night. I love watching his eyes light up when he feels it! I snapped this photo last night.
Non-baby related personal life is looking up too! My coworker is back from maternity leave and the last chunk of deadlines I was responsible for are today, and they're done. No more doing 1.75 full time jobs! Woohoo! DH's cousin also officially moved out Saturday morning, so I can finally satisfy my nesting urges!
For my Treat yo'self day, I would get a pedicure and facial and shop in a fancy maternity store on Magazine Street that I don't dare step foot in now. Then, I'd grab a non-alcoholic daiquiri and lay in my portable hammock on the levee next the the river. Then, I'd eat at a fancy steakhouse and enjoy an ice cream sundae in our newly redone backyard patio with DH and cuddle up and read a book.
Hi Ladies!
Update - Tomorrow I'll be 17 weeks! Time is flying! I have my next Dr. appt for my monthly check up on Friday, 3/25. Then the following Friday on 4/1 I have the anatomy scan, which I'm really excited for! I can't wait to see how much my little girl has grown! I've started to feel a little fluttering, but it's really fleeting and I only notice it every few or every couple of days. I can't wait until those kicks and jabs become more noticeable!
QOTW: For my "Treat Yo'self Day" I would spend the morning at the spa with girlfriends and enjoy a nice long Swedish massage, followed by a long lunch to catch up on girl time (which would include mimosas). Then I would head home and have some quality time with DH (see a movie, or go for a long walk, maybe walk around Disneyland, or go bowling) followed by a nice dinner that DH would prepare for me. Finally at the end of the day I'd enjoy a bubble bath with a great book and a glass of wine.

@TerraMae80 Congratulations on hitting the halfway mark!!!! You look amazing!!!
22 weeks this week
QOTW: My perfect day would consist of waking up in some beautiful, foreign country to an amazing cup of coffee and a chocolate croissant for breakfast. Then some sort of outdoor activity with my DH (a scenic hike or long walk along a beach), followed by a delicious meal (and a glass of local wine, assuming I'm not preggers) with a view of the ocean on a cool night where my DH and I could just sit and chat and take it all in for hours.
@TerraMae80, you look beautiful! Good luck on the rest. At least there's always donuts.
I had a pretty small cup size to start (34A) and bought this bra in a small. I tried on others in a larger cup size (34B and 36B) but the fit of those was a little too perfect, I wanted something a little roomy so I could use it later as the girls got bigger. The one I bought is comfortable and I've adjusted it to fit for now, and it still has room to grow. Plus it was under $20 which was selling point for me. I thought it was way too early to get a nursing bra too, but I didn't want to spend the money on a bra that I'd outgrow in a couple of months. So far so good! Good luck!
i have tried some cheaper bras from target but I just don't get the support that I do with my chest being so large.
My perfect day would be either relaxing with a book and some quite. Or spending a day with hubby hiking the trails or a day with girlfriend at a spa
