Re: Which Pregnant Animal Do You Relate to the Most?

  • LOL! Cute. I'm torn between the zebra, since nearly all the maternity clothes I own are striped, and the giraffe, because that's exactly what I look like trying to pick anything up.

  • Haha so cute!  I'm pretty sure I feel and look like that beached-looking seal right now.

I feel like a combination of all of them. But mostly the tiger. Gained weight everywhere including my arms and I lay everywhere I go.
  • Awkward giraffe, angry hairless cat, and the exhausted orangutan. No question!

I am constantly dropping things and have to plan very strategically how to pick up said item without looking like a complete klutz. I usually fail.

I have also mastered the "I'm way too tired, sore, and fed up to deal with your ridiculous sh*t" glare that the cat has perfected. I usually reserve it for after the person has turned their back, but have been caught in the act a few times. Whatever.

And when I get home, I collapse immediately and am just so done. I look just like the orangutan, lounging and trying to shield my eyes from all the stuff that needs to get done around the house. If I don't see the mess, it doesn't exist, right?

  • Giraffe for sure!! I am tall and bending down has become a ridiculous feat!!

Afrikaans lesson for the day: a giraffe is called a 'kameelperd' in Afrikaans, which translates to 'camel horse' - isn't that ridiculous?
  • Goat, methinks. Because I'm too big to simply bend down or squat to work on projects on the floor (sometimes it's just easier to spread stuff out around me), but once I'm down there I'm stuck. I know the goat isn't on the floor, but she's sitting the way I do sometimes now when I get stuck and I'm pretty sure I've had that same expression on my face.  :|

  • That is hilarious!! Thanks for the laugh @Spylon
  • Definitely between the lion and squirrel. The lion must be what I look like chasing two year olds around all day. The squirrel because I need all the food.
  • I'm totally going to revive this thread 3 days later, because why not have fun on a Friday. I'm the ferret...I should have had my arms up for the picture ;)
  • Mrs Bigglesworth. My aunt asked me for this weeks bump pic and I sent her that pic.
