I wasn't too surprised with Lauren as the pick and I was happy for them. They are really cute together.
I I was completely surprised they announced JOJo as the bachelorette, since it was out that Caila was! I think this is a great change as JoJo will be a much more interesting bachelorette!
I was surprised he picked Lauren after watching last night.... seemed he had a deeper connection with Jojo and appeared to me that he hinted that more to her. Like them both but liked he & Jojo's relationship better-seemed more "real"..

Did I miss the phone call that they hinted at all season about him calling someone back because he made a mistake?
i think he had a better connection with JoJo, but seeing him totally let go with Lauren when he told her she was his person, you could see a more playful side of the relationship.
The phone call was to Lauren's dad asking to marry her. They just edited it to look like he said that while he was on the phone.
I hate when they edit it like that. I really thought I missed something else. I did see the call to her dad, the previews sounded like a girl answered the phone.
I don't like how they edited that either. I thought he was going to call someone back. I always thought it would be Lauren but as I was watching the last episode I started thinking it was going to be JoJo. I'm really glad she'll be the next bachelorette. I liked Caila and wouldn't have minded her, but JoJo grew on me.
So are we going to have a bachelorette thread in May?
