Can you all just stop. I didn't post this to be criticized. Sorry that it's my first baby and I was curious. Silly question, so be it. I don't need the drama. So move on and let's end this. Thank you. And I appreciate those of you who actually gave me your input, which is what I was looking for, not sarcasm.
I think it's easy on the Internet to be on the defensive, but I think it's best that you think of this group as your best, most honest girlfriends. Do you have friends in "real life" who you can say anything to and be honest with and you know they'll be honest with you? And sometimes they'll let you know that what you're doing/saying is rediculous but that's what makes them so great and you just laugh about it and move on? Think of this like that. This board is a community already in progress with many ladies who have been bonding and getting to know each other for the past 7 months. They're welcoming, helpful, funny, and honest-all good traits. Stick around and don't let this experience get at you...everyone is just being honest. If you're ever really in a bind and need support, this board will rush to your side. Try to see it for what it is, have a good laugh, and just let it roll.
So the custodian at my job (who is very nice, not sure why that's relevant but it is), said I was carrying low so I was having a girl. By this time I have had two u/s, both of which clearly showed a boy. So, I replied, "actually, it's a boy!" *insert big grin here* I'll always trust my doc over an OWT.
I honestly believed there was something to old wives tales when I was pregnant with my first. I looked like dog crap, carried weight all over, was extremely sick till I was 7 months and out popped a beautiful baby girl. However, I am pretty darn sure I am having a boy as the US tech told me at my 20 week scan (and it was pretty darn obvious IMO) I def, believe all wives tales are complete and utter BS, at least with this pregnancy... I am carrying very high, sick with MS, look like complete dog crap...once again and I think the only reason I have blown up to the size of a blimp yet like I did with my DD is because I have 2 hyper dogs and a very active 2.5 year old I chase after everyday.
Re: Carrying low.
So why do you believe the old wives tales over a doctor/ultrasound tech?
But don't worry, I brought tots for everyone ( except you @shannonrnbsn ;-) )
I'll always trust my doc over an OWT.
