@cocog26 You started seeing an RE because of 22-day cycles? Did you just recently come off birth control? Because that can mess with your cycles. It just seems like you jumped the gun here. Also, I know your doctor said temping isn't accurate, but if you have been around this board you should know that most of us temp, many under not "perfect" conditions, and most of us are able to see a temp shift and confirm ovulation.
ETA: I went back and read your post from earlier this week, when you talked about having endometriosis, so I understand a bit more. It still seems like you are jumping the gun a bit, though. Many women here have endo and/or short LPs, but still wait a year before seeing an RE.

Also I would do something about the education system and the teachers wouldn't be so underpaid because they do one of the most important jobs in this country but paid garbage for what they do and it is sad but like I said I'm just daydreaming because I am sure I won't live to see either of those things!!

I lived in denver when it was legalized and it seemed to do good things for the public schools that were suffering so much. I need to do more research on this but at first glance, it looks like it's Working out in favor for Colorado financially. Im living in California now, where it is only medically legal and they clearly have HUGE financial issues and I see/smell it all the time.... Walking down the street and while playing in the mountains. Way more than I did in Denver (where it was. Legal). Also, I don't smoke pot, or do any other drugs.

britters314 thank you for your message! I appreciate you taking the time. I'm new to the bump, so I honestly don't know what I'm doing half the time, but learning. I guess you needed way more background than what I had provided regarding going to the RE. Yes, I have endo, but I have also been off BC pill for over a year and have had perfect, 27 day cycles up until recently. There was concern that my luteal phase was shortening/too short, and I needed to check it out. Maybe TMI (again, I'm new here). I'm also 33, and while I realize that's not even remotely considered old in terms of TTC, it's definitely older than 24. My choice to see the RE was because I didn't want to wait a year to find out I did, in fact, have a problem.
I was simply stating my temping hasn't been accurate, and a professional communicated to me that it takes a lot to get an accurate reading - I wanted to extend that bit of knowledge so women who have been heavily relying and counting on those numbers, could maybe use this info.
@atcwag That's weird your thermometer did that. Maybe give it a new battery if (I'm being optimistic and not saying "when") CD1 shows up?
Stuck in text box....I've only been temping less than 3 months and it's a Mabis, so it shouldn't need a new battery. It has done that twice though. Once last month too, but every other temp looks on the up & up.
Testing plans: I wasn't going to test until tomorrow but I got a big temp rise this morning -- bfn. And OF COURSE the one I used has an indent. Then I looked back at my charts and I regularly "peak" at 12 dpo before a 13 dpo crash.
R/R/CS: Does anyone else's heart start pounding like crazy when they test? My heart doesn't pound like this for anything else. It's a disconcerting sensation FIRST THING in the morning. Wish I could calm the eff down.

I definitely second parental leave reform. My first thought was a mandatory year of service after high school. The way kids are coddled these days I think being kicked out into the real world to help others for a year before entering college would do a lot of good. (And I would have loved it, fwiw).
