Twin Moms - Weekly Update? Interested?

Hi fellow twin moms (and triplets/quads), I was just wondering if those of you would like to do a weekly update?  I thought it might be fun to see how things are progressing?  I know our pregnancies can be much different than a singleton and thought it would be great to get to know some of you better!  Thought maybe we could start this week and continue on Friday's? 

I can start this one if some of you are interested!

How many weeks are you? What are your symptoms like?

Any new developments or weird happenings?  

Questions?

Do you know what type of twins you are having? Mono/di? Di/Di? Etc?

    How many weeks are you? What are your symptoms like? 16 weeks and most current symptoms are headaches. I seem to wake up with one every single morning.  If I have caffeine it helps. I have also been taking claritin, because I'm not quite sure if it is partially related to seasonal allergies.  Other than that my symptoms have much better!

    Any new developments or weird happenings?  We had a 16 week ultra sound yesterday and she was able to do an early anatomy scan on both babies.  Wasn't able to see everything, so they will do more at the 20 week, however both of them are progressing right on track.  They were kicking each other during the scan!!  lol

    Questions?  Does anyone else have an anterior placenta?   I found out yesterday I did, so it will probably be another month or so before I really feel anything.  I've felt a couple tiny flutters, but definitely could of been gas!

    Do you know what type of twins you are having? Mono/di? Di/Di? Etc?  We are having mono/di twins, which we have been told are identical twins. They weren't 100% sure, but they do share a rather large placenta.  I totally was not expecting that and thought they'd be fraternal.  :)

    How many weeks are you? What are your symptoms like?  17 weeks 4 days.  Feeling pretty good right now. I find myself getting tired around 8:00, get up to pee at least once a night, and get uncomfortable if I sit in one position too long.

    Any new developments or weird happenings?  Anatomy scan just got scheduled for 3/25!  Waiting to feel these little babies move!

    Questions?  How big is everyone measuring?  I saw my OB yesterday and was measuring 20 weeks with a weight gain of 6 pounds so far.  Some days I feel huge, other days not so much!

    16+4! I am still suffering from pure exhaustion. Once in awhile I will be sensitive to smells and head aches are more common than not. (I keep Tylenol in my drawer at work now!)

    i have my next appointment scheduled for the 16th and we will schedule anatomy then! I had an U/S last week and everything looked good! Babes were both a little bigger than expected but moving and grooving. :smile: 

    my my question is TMI - if pooping like a dang chore these days? I have so much pressure down there when I have to go! So it usually takes forever. (I'm also anemic and have to take extra iron which doesn't help) 
    -at 15 weeks I was measuring closer to 19! He said it's totally normal when there are "two tenants in there"

    we have fraternal twins! Confirming gender at elective u/s on Monday but tech guessed two girls!

    we are just outside the twin cities in MN!

    @ShanTeach last week I was measuring a full month ahead. My Ob said that's normal with twins!
    @megframe16 I totally have pooping issues. This might be too much tmi for some but when I poop it's little balls that come out! Prior to pregnancy I've always been regular. The days I have coffee seem to help my headaches and pooping ;) 
    And I'm in central WI about 3 hours from the cities!

    How many weeks are you? 18w4d

    What are your symptoms like? Lots of uncomfortable-ness going on. Mostly RLP but yesterday a dull constant pain started in what I'm assuming is my uterus. Woke up this morning and it seemed like my bump doubled in size, so I'm assuming it's growing pains. 

    Any new developments or weird happenings? Mostly just big bump that grew overnight, or at least that's what it seems like! A few people at work made comments about finally seeing a bump today, so I don't think I'm the only one noticing!

    Other than that, excited and anxious for the anatomy scan next week. We already know we're having BG twins, I just want everything to look good and get the thumbs up for two healthy babies. 

    Questions? I'm curious if any of you are seeing a specialist in addition to your OB? I'm not, but know other twin moms who were referred to specialists once they found out they were having multiples.

    @rikopy I am not seeing a specialist. My OB said as long as I have no complications and the ultrasounds continue to look good/babies are growing well, I won't have to see a specialist.

    Same here. We will see how things go as we get further along. If I do have to see a Specialist it would be 45 from where we are now at a different hospital.

    How many weeks are you? What are your symptoms like? 17 weeks tommorrow, and luckily the symptoms are chilling out. Naseua and uncomfortableness are still the front runners.

    Any new developments or weird happenings? Back pain has started in the last week

    Questions? Does anyone else feel huge at the end of the day, like bigger than he morning??

    How many weeks are you? What are your symptoms like?  18w 2d. Symptoms are good. Getting my energy back and only occasionally gagging now! Just wish I could poop lol!

    Nothing really new. LOVE feeling them move. I swear Baby girl (baby b) is going to be a black belt karate master when she's born!

    Is anyone taking Colace stool softener? My SIL is a PA and told me to take it the entire pregnancy, it has been an angel!!!
