Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant- My MS seems to be coming back, I've been pretty nauseous this week. Rave- I get to see one of my good friends from HS/college and just found out she's 14 weeks pregnant! I'm so excited! I hardly get to see her.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Working to make the money lol
Questions? Anyone else's MS coming back?
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Cleaning since my MIL will be coming up next weekend....ugh....
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Actually got some decent sleep last night..finally!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gestating...
Questions? none at the moment
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Inlaws are flying back home after their week visit..feel bad cause I am sort of relieved cause I always feel like I'm running in circles when I have to come up with ways to entertain family.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Still feeling pretty down from my OB appt yesterday. Going from thinking everything is perfectly normal, to now knowing it isn't is tough, especially finding out so late. I'm sure being so emotional lately in general isn't helping my mindset. Hopefully today is a better day. Symptoms wise, it's all the usual. A sore back & achey restless legs seem to be the worst for me right now.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Uh, not much. Trying to find more info about eccentric cord insertion, but there is surprisingly little on the internet.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? H wants to do dinner & a movie tonight. It's supposed to be pretty nice tomorrow so I would like to go to the farmers market in the morning, & maybe take our dog to the dog park (depending on how muddy it is). Aside from that we haven't really come up with much of a plan.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: waiting to begin my 3 hour glucose. Rave: I have my church baby shower on Sunday, so today I'm going to old navy to look for something to wear. Symptoms: @Diesel615 I also have been having bouts of nausea, one episode of dry heaving. My doc says as the baby grows, he compresses the gut and the food I eat doesn't go anywhere and contributes to nausea. Smaller meals with more protein should help, as I dream of chocolate cake and waffle fries.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? H said he wanted to pack the hospital bag this weekend, "because you're getting close you know." Always the voice of reason
Questions?
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Tomorrow, I want to paint the name letters for the room and Sunday is my first shower. I'm excited!!
@Diesel615 Sorry to hear the MS is rearing it's ugly head again @kbequette08 Glad to hear you were able to get some sleep @DeePaddy24 I'm really sorry about the news you got from the OB yesterday. While I don't have any advice to offer, just want you to know that I'm thinking of you
@shannonrnbsn GL on your glucose test and have a great time at your shower!
How far along are you? 26+6
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Just uncomfortable. Rave: This MN weather! Can't wait to get outside and enjoy some of it this weekend. I've been feeling crappy the last few days with this cold and all the belly pressure, so last night H told me he was taking care of dinner. Homemade crab legs, lobster tails and twice baked potatoes. And the last of my girl scout cookies for dessert. It was awesome.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? I'm not really sure, we don't have anything planned. Probably some yard cleanup since it'll be so nice out, and I'm hoping we can go out to dinner and a movie so I can get out of the house a little bit. This whole being laid off thing is starting to get old.
@DeePaddy24: Hope you're able to relax today in the midst of the news you recieved yesterday!
How far along are you? 24w2d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Symptoms: Apparently snored loudly allllll night, according to H. Oops. @shannonrnbsn: I've had 2 mornings of dry heaving lately. I feel ya--ick!
TGIF!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nursery paint is happening sometime in the next few days. Apparently H has a lot of opinions about the specific shade of gray we should use.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Nursery paint Landscape clean-up BBQ with in laws More kitchen stuff
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I have to walk several blocks to go to my HQ building to get my work phone unlocked and I kinda rather just sit here with my fan on me, lol. Rave: TGIF, FINALLY! Glad to go home later and not really have to do anything. Symptoms: Random aches and pains kind of everywhere now. Morning seems to be when I have the least amount of stomach/back pain.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Went to Lowe's yesterday and picked the carpet and got the contract finalized so hopefully getting new carpet in the nursery and the office in less than 3 weeks. Of course we have to clean pretty much everything out of the office to save some money, which is fine. As long as it's before the baby shower so we have room to put stuff. Finally feels like stuff is happening! I feel like the rest of this pregnancy is going to start getting really busy! I created a Google doc w/DH a few days ago to list out all of the things we need to do before the baby gets here with dates/times, prices, etc. Oh! And my SIL picked a nature center for my baby shower and I am super stoked about it. It's one I frequented when I was bird watching all the time and I think it's going to be cute and different. The room has a photography exhibit going on too so that will add to the ambience.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Cleaning, taking DH to the train station since he's leaving for a work trip on Sun and probably hanging out with my mom Sun. Sat, hopefully not much, just cleaning and relaxing.
Me - 33, DH - 33 Married - May 2014 DH - Low Count/Motility/Morph - Varicocele vein x 2 - surgery (8/11) - success! BFP - 10/10/15, EDD - 6/20/16 - It's a BOY! Baby #1 - 6/29/16 - Lucas Christopher, 10 lbs 3 oz, 22.25 inches Baby #2 - TTC May 2017 BFP - 9/10/17, EDD - 5/26/18 - It's a GIRL! - RCS May 22nd
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave- So effing happy that it's Friday! Lunch club in the house!! Symptoms- been having more heartburn at night which is really getting old. Other than just, just getting more uncomfortable when sitting unless I'm reclining to some degree which makes me nervous because I don't want to encourage an OP baby.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Hopefully going to finish the armoire this weekend.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Taking my step-daughter to American Girl in Charlotte with a friend and her mom. Looking forward to Cheesecake Factory. Then hoping to finish some other projects on Sunday.
@Diesel65 and @shannonrnbsn boo for returning MS. @DeePaddy24 I'm praying for you and your LO. Sounds like you have an awesome weekend coming up.
@DeePaddy24 I'm sorry you're going through this and feeling down. Hoping for the best outcome for you.
How far along are you? 27+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I always wake up sore, no matter what position I'm in Rave: Weather looks great, it's nice and sunny and the snow is melting! I'm also going out to lunch with a friend and then dinner with H, MIL, and a friend! I may also sneak in a bit of shopping for a nice top to wear for maternity photos. Also, my dog is being super cute right now and I love it even though he's probably sucking up so I'll let him outside so he can go back to eating something gross he found in the backyard.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gestating, house organizing. I'm trying to get all those odd jobs done that I know have no chance of being done until kids move out (I'm looking at you, unpainted baseboards).
Questions? Nope, not until an hour after I post this!
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Dinner out tonight. DH is going out on Saturday to get one more ski day in before all the snow is gone, so I'll probably stay home and open all the windows!! It's supposed to be 12C and I can't friggin wait! We'll probably do house stuff together on Sunday.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Yesterday was a horrible day. Lots of little things going wrong throughout my day and then when I go to leave work, there is a note on my windshield from a colleague that she accidentally backed up into my brand new car!! The paint is all scraped up on the bumper and I'm worried that the backup sensors in the bumper could be damaged. Fortunately, she filed a claim with her insurance quickly and we have an appt. at a body shop to get it fixed monday. Seriously though, my new Outback!!!!!!! Symptoms: The usual. Although I have slept slightly better this week since starting to take magnesium supplements before bed. No charley horses this week either! And baby is kicking so hard now I can see it and feel it from the outside and so can DH. She's an active little bug.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Working on things around the house before she arrives like fixing up the laundry room and outdoor chores that I won't be able to do soon.
Questions? Reposting this question from Wednesday since I was late to post. So DH and I are really liking the name Kallette. We like Kallie as the nickname. I like the variation of Collette with a Ka instead of Co, lending itself to the nickname. DH is thinking it might work better with one L instead of 2, but I think that would make it sound like a long A like Kale instead of a soft A like al. Thoughts? We're also stuck on a middle name, but I'm leaning towards Rose. Kallette Rose Sch***** (2 syllable last name). Thoughts?
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Getting my Glucose screening done tomorrow morning. Had one done early on and passed so hoping for a good result this time too. Other than that, not a whole lot! Just house work I guess.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: rant: 5lbs in two weeks? Really, body? Rave: I bought a new pair of Toms last night. I am SO excited. They're like putting two little clouds on my feet. Symptoms: the crotch pain is really starting to bother me. I can't lift my leg to put it in my boot without it feeling like there are knives stabbing me down there.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Does buying myself Toms count for anything?
Questions?
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? No plans. It's supposed to be nice out so hopefully playing outside with the kiddies a lot :-)
@DeePaddy24 I know exactly how you feel right now. One minute thinking everything is ok and the next worrying about worst case. So I'm going to think all the positive thoughts for you. I bet everything is going to be a-ok. Hopefully March Break will be nice and relaxing for you. And you can de-stress a bit.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: The crotch pain. I honestly feel like the front right side of my pubic bone is fractured. I cannot believe how painful it is to even walk, let alone going up stairs or trying to vacuum. Ugh.
But hey, it's going to be in the 60s this weekend, so I'm SUPER excited for that!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying not to cry when I'm walking
Questions? Nope
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? H and I haven't had a date in so long, so that's happening tonight! Spending lots of time outside, cleaning out the garden and landscaping, and just enjoying the warmth and sunshine!
@deepaddy24 - I'm sorry about the bad news...I've got you in my prayers and thoughts that everything turns out ok.
@bakerbird525 - How is Lowes for carpet pricing wise? We need carpet in our basement (it is otherwise finished but-for needing carpet).
@mrsschmity - Your dinner last night sounds amazing.
@crdo - Not sure if it irritates you but it bugs the crap out of me when my H has an opinion about paint. His opinion is mostly "no", "no", "don't like it" though so I think that is why it bugs me. Hopefully you settle on a grey that works for you both.
How far along are you? 27 w, 2 d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Feeling ok, just tired as usual.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Hopefully putting the glider together this weekend and finishing up the major parts of the bathroom remodel. The plumping is fully functional in there now (YEAH!!!) so I might take a bath tonight, which will be HEAVENLY even though the bathroom isn't done/done. I've been without a bath (just showers) for 3-4 months!
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Just bathroom stuff.
@CourtJack I think buying Toms counts. Happy mom, happy baby? Also, I don't have any of those but they sound like a great idea. Just the other day I was wondering how the hell I was going to lace up running shoes once the snow is gone because my zip up winter boots are difficult enough now! Where is the best place to buy them?
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Symptoms: So short of breath in the mornings these days! I think the kid must crowd my lungs overnight and then move away from them over the course of the day. Rave: It's Friday! I'm jealous of all you expecting sunshine this weekend; it looks like we're going to have a lot of rain and thunderstorms.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nagging my doula to send me a copy of the birth plan, which we planned over the phone and she was supposed to type up and send to me by the start of the week.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Hoping to finish up the last of the unpacking/organizing after our recent move. We're picking up some hand-me-down baby furniture from friends next weekend, so I want to make sure the space is ready to go for that. We're also going to a Thai-style potluck at a friend's on Saturday. I'm looking forward to doing something social!
@MamaNicoleof3 enjoy your date! @CourtJack I got a new pair of Toms for my birthday... I always love new Toms! @arteduc8 sorry to hear about your rough day! @DeePaddy24 I had a few complications thrown at me late in the game when pregnant with my daughter... it resulted in a lot of extra ultrasounds, bedrest, and stress, but all was well in the end. I hope it will be for you too- I know it's hard.
How far along are you? 25 weeks tomorrow! I'll be on March Break next week and may not check in much as I will be busy with my daughter and random family stuff.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: After a wonderful birthday, I'm feeling really crappy this morning. I didn't attend a thing at work that I've NEVER attended before (our lower school's play) because of my birthday and totally didn't think it was a big deal but my boss seems weird and pissed off about it today. I did NOT expect that and I am such a perfectionist that I just feel AWFUL. I'm also really exhausted and ate too much sugar yesterday so just in general feel BAD. Blah. Rave: It was a wonderful birthday- so much love from family and friends. Thanks to everyone on here for the well-wishes.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Celebrating my birthday with my mother-in-law. She made mocha cheesecake apparently which is a strange choice since my hubby and brother-in-law hate coffee. I'm very touched that she made a cheesecake for me since I love it but- and maybe this is too neurotic??- a little worried about the mocha factor as I try to monitor my caffeine very closely and am worried it'll be full of it. Anyone ever have a day where they really blow through that 200mg recommended max? I'm never sure whether that recommendation is more of an "average" thing or if the day-to-day really matters.
@SMLmom- sorry your boss is being weird. I'm a total perfectionist too and that would make me super anxious. I think a one-time cheesecake splurge would be just fine! Try to enjoy
Well, I actually bought them at a local kids shoes specialty store. Their biggest youth size fit me!! (they fit big and stretch-I'm a size 8-8.5) Otherwise I know you can buy them online also.
@Diesel615 - Not actual MS, I don't think (or at least I hope), but I've had more stomach issues in the past few weeks. Hopefully yours go away too like mine did! I think I just needed to adjust how much I was eating at each sitting. This kid is taking up my precious stomach space!
@DeePaddy24 - The one time you want Google info, it is less than helpful. That's frustrating. I hope that all of your worrying is for nothing and everything goes smoothly until delivery! Grow, baby, grow!
@arteduc8 - I like it. Did you post it to the name thread? Ladies there are super quick to respond, normally.
@CourtJack - I love TOMS. Buying them counts as baby prep. I may have to follow in your excellent example.
@candicek15 - I've always bought them online. They are pretty true to size for what you would normally wear.
How far along are you? 25w1d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Not sleeping, swelling up more and more by the minute, and convincing myself that random cramps and twinges of pain are totally normal. Right? RIGHT?! Rant: Work. People suck. Rave: Friday! Labor buddies! Samoa's ice cream! Sunshine (at least until Sunday)! Potential date night with H!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Eating ice cream. That is all.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? I think I mentioned house hunting a few times in the past few days... we are also grilling out with some friends since it's so nice outside! Hopefully the weather holds true and the rain holds off until Sunday.
@CourtJack I think buying Toms counts. Happy mom, happy baby? Also, I don't have any of those but they sound like a great idea. Just the other day I was wondering how the hell I was going to lace up running shoes once the snow is gone because my zip up winter boots are difficult enough now! That's awesome! I'm usually a 7 so that could work for me too. I'm pretty sure we're in the same city, can I guess that you went to Kiddie Kobbler? lol

HA! yes!!! Wait, are you in Ottawa? I LOVE that store so much!!!
@mkemommy: A bunch of "no" would irritate me, too. We have several rooms in the house that are some sort of gray, and we have paint leftover from each room. So, my thinking was to use up some of the gray paint we already have, and save ourselves an extra gallon purchase if we can. It seems H feels a green-tinged gray is required to coordinate with the glider gray....which of course we don't have. 1) Glad he cares enough to have an opinion, but 2) Irritated he has such an opinion because I was just going to haul off and paint today....but I can't because we haven't settled on a color. Hmph. Yay for your bathroom plumbing working! Home stretch!
@mrsschmity: I'm tired thinking about the weekend list already, haha. But I'm totally in GET SH*T DONE mode, so it needs to happen. Your meal last night sounds amazing. Way to go, Mr Schmity.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - I seriously do not know how much more water I can drink but I have to apparently drink "a lot" more if I don't want to have contractions again. I'll do it but I might as well just live on the toilet because all I do already is freaking pee. Also, the new girl at work is bugging me. That's a rant for another day, though. Rave - It's Friday!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just Between Friends sale is this weekend! Super excited for that!
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Saturday I have to go to some reading for school. The sale starts Saturday night and Sunday we're going to host a game night. I also have a paper to write. We'll see when that happens...
@arteduc8 I like the name choice – how are you pronouncing
the first syllable? Is it pronounced more like car or California? I like Rose
for a middle
@CourtJack I weighed myself this morning and gained 3.5 just
in one week so I feel your pain. I’m hoping it’s a baby growth spurt and it isn’t
all going to my ass.
@SMLmom most mocha-type desserts I’ve ever made only have a
few teaspoons of instant espresso powder. And that is spread out over however
many number of servings there are in the recipe. I’d say as long as you don’t
eat the entire cheesecake, you’re totally safe on the caffeine front.
How far along are you? 27w4d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I was on my feet all day yesterday and now my feet and back are KILLING me - I'm planning a long nap/reading session in my recliner later Rave: I have been trying to clean out my email inbox and found a long-lost gift card for a Lobstergram that a friend got me two years ago. I checked and it was still valid so me and H are getting a lobster dinner next week - super pumped for that. Symptoms: See rant. Also bleeding gums and the extreme fatigue seems to have returned.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I've started making freezer-friendly meals that we can make super easily once the baby is here since i do NOT want to have to cook. My MIL got us a vacuum sealer for Christmas so I've been using that to make sure they don't get freezer burn and it works beautifully!
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? I have no idea - my H has to work all weekend. I might try to track down a friend to go to brunch with me or something, maybe run to BRU and use up a few gift cards without my H since he hates going in there. He literally sat in the car last time I ran in to get something quickly because he thinks the store is a "rip-off". Such a petulant little child sometimes. I might go to the library and pick up a few books to read during my recliner breaks too.
@MamaNicoleof3 I hear you -- I thought I tore a groin muscle. I couldn't cross my legs or roll over in bed with out major pain. @DeePaddy24 Sending you love
How far along are you? 26+6!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Feeling huge. Hormones are back with a vengeance and I've been emotional AF.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I've been on a crochet kick. First the blanket I shared with you ladies a couple weeks back, now it has a matching hat, and I just finished this sweater (attached) I cant take pics of things directly below me without Bump in the way, so there's that! Also is it just me or is it impossible to resize or rotate pics in here?
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Enjoying the warm NYC weather! We'll probably plan a short hike or head to a nearby sculpture park on Sunday.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: H is home! And has today off. Symptoms: sleeping poorly, but mostly my thimble sized stomach.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nothing today.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Going to submit a few pre-K applications for DD. Unsure how I feel about that, hah. Then hitting up the lawn & garden dept at Home Depot. Tis the season! And finally date night!! Saturday and Sunday will be work around the house days. Landscaping, painting, weed pulling, etc.
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
I love the American Girl store! It's still a dream of mine to get an American Girl doll lol. I wasn't lucky enough to have one as a kid. I live like almost 2 hours from Charlotte.
@CourtJack I think buying Toms counts. Happy mom, happy baby? Also, I don't have any of those but they sound like a great idea. Just the other day I was wondering how the hell I was going to lace up running shoes once the snow is gone because my zip up winter boots are difficult enough now! HA! yes!!! Wait, are you in Ottawa? I LOVE that store so much!!!
I am! I think I had only posted that I'm from Ontario but I saw you post something about Ottawa once and then I got excited! I'm a FTM so I haven't been to KK lately but I remember shopping there as a kid. Totally insane that they've been around that long!
We should get in touch sometime if that doesn't creep you out (internet strangers and all). I have a few friends that have had babies in the past year, but most are out of town or will be back at work shortly after my baby arrives. Local mom company and advice is always helpful! I'm delivering at the Civic, you?
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - I seriously do not know how much more water I can drink but I have to apparently drink "a lot" more if I don't want to have contractions again. I'll do it but I might as well just live on the toilet because all I do already is freaking pee. Also, the new girl at work is bugging me. That's a rant for another day, though. Rave - It's Friday!

GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Saturday I have to go to some reading for school. The sale starts Saturday night and Sunday we're going to host a game night. I also have a paper to write. We'll see when that happens...
Just catheterize yourself and wear maxi skirts until June. Problem solved
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Same old stuff, feeling really full all the time now and starting to get more and more comments from co-workers/strangers now that I can't hide my belly under a puffy winter jacket in this 80 degree weather...
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Still buying nursery stuff and planning how to decorate. Possibly getting a ceiling fan and overhead lighting installed in both bedrooms soon.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend? Family dinner at our house tonight with parents/sister/nieces/nephews.
Tomorrow we are hoping to get to the Habitat for Humanity store to get a new door for the nursery since my father literally kicked a massive hole IN THE DOOR while babysitting for us because the kids locked themselves in and he panicked and couldn't get them out LOL
Then hoping to build our fenced in "play area" in our little backyard where the kids can play without worrying about dog poop everywhere. I've been wanting to do this for a long time now.
@candicek15 - yes! Would love to! I am so excited to know you're in Ottawa! I was planning on delivering at home, but now that I'm high risk I'm going to be delivering at the General-which is all the way across town from me. But CHEO is next door so I happy about that.
What part of town are you in?
I had no idea that KK was that old. It's such a good spot to buy quality stuff and their staff is always so nice
@CourtJack Yay! I'm excited that you're excited too! I am near the airport so both hospitals were pretty equidistant for me. My SIL just delivered at the Civic last May and had a great experience so I chose to go there. I'm high risk now too so I'm followed by an OB there (hopefully if I make it to 36 weeks I can go back to my original OB) and I'm happy because they also have a good NICU, just in case. What part of town are you in? I'm off work so if you're not working I'd be up for meeting for a coffee sometime. I'm always looking for a daily activity! lol. Thanks again for the KK tip, I might just check them out this weekend!
Just out of mere curiosity, how many of you live in Canada? I feel like there are a lot of Canadians on this website as well on others too. I'd love to visit Canada one day
@kbequette08 My guess is that there is about 5-7 of us from Canada on this BMB.
ETA that you should come visit Canada one day! Although it's hard to hit too many big cities in one trip since we're so spread out. You should come soon while our dollar sucks! lol

Fun! I'll PM you I'm working right until June, so my coffee times are limited, but I would love to plan one at some point. (I'm in Barrhaven).

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant- My MS seems to be coming back, I've been pretty nauseous this week. Rave- I get to see one of my good friends from HS/college and just found out she's 14 weeks pregnant! I'm so excited! I hardly get to see her.

@kbequette08 Glad to hear you were able to get some sleep
@DeePaddy24 I'm really sorry about the news you got from the OB yesterday. While I don't have any advice to offer, just want you to know that I'm thinking of you
@shannonrnbsn GL on your glucose test and have a great time at your shower!
How far along are you?

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Just uncomfortable.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Symptoms: Apparently snored loudly allllll night, according to H. Oops.
@shannonrnbsn: I've had 2 mornings of dry heaving lately. I feel ya--ick!
TGIF!
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Nursery paint is happening sometime in the next few days. Apparently H has a lot of opinions about the specific shade of gray we should use.
GTKY: What are you up to this weekend?
Nursery paint
Landscape clean-up
BBQ with in laws
More kitchen stuff

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: I always wake up sore, no matter what position I'm in
Rave: Weather looks great, it's nice and sunny and the snow is melting!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Yesterday was a horrible day.
28+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
The crotch pain.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: After a wonderful birthday, I'm feeling really crappy this morning.
Well, I actually bought them at a local kids shoes specialty store. Their biggest youth size fit me!! (they fit big and stretch-I'm a size 8-8.5) Otherwise I know you can buy them online also.
HA! yes!!! Wait, are you in Ottawa? I LOVE that store so much!!!
@arteduc8 I like the name choice – how are you pronouncing the first syllable? Is it pronounced more like car or California? I like Rose for a middle
@CourtJack I weighed myself this morning and gained 3.5 just in one week so I feel your pain. I’m hoping it’s a baby growth spurt and it isn’t all going to my ass.
@SMLmom most mocha-type desserts I’ve ever made only have a few teaspoons of instant espresso powder. And that is spread out over however many number of servings there are in the recipe. I’d say as long as you don’t eat the entire cheesecake, you’re totally safe on the caffeine front.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: I was on my feet all day yesterday and now my feet and back are KILLING me - I'm planning a long nap/reading session in my recliner later
Rave: I have been trying to clean out my email inbox and found a long-lost gift card for a Lobstergram that a friend got me two years ago.
@DeePaddy24 Sending you love
@crdo GL picking paint!
How far along are you? 25w6d
I love the American Girl store! It's still a dream of mine to get an American Girl doll lol. I wasn't lucky enough to have one as a kid. I live like almost 2 hours from Charlotte.
We should get in touch sometime if that doesn't creep you out (internet strangers and all). I have a few friends that have had babies in the past year, but most are out of town or will be back at work shortly after my baby arrives. Local mom company and advice is always helpful! I'm delivering at the Civic, you?
25 wks, 3 days
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Same old stuff, feeling really full all the time now and starting to get more and more comments from co-workers/strangers now that I can't hide my belly under a puffy winter jacket in this 80 degree weather...

What part of town are you in?
I had no idea that KK was that old. It's such a good spot to buy quality stuff and their staff is always so nice
ETA that you should come visit Canada one day! Although it's hard to hit too many big cities in one trip since we're so spread out. You should come soon while our dollar sucks! lol
Fun! I'll PM you
