OXO Tot Seedling High Chair

Anyone have the OXO Tot Seedling High Chair? We are currently looking, and saw this one awhile back and liked the simple look to it. It's currently on sale at BuyBuyBaby for $99, normally $119.

Any other high chairs that you absolutely love/don't like?

We have a keekaroo right height high chair and it's fine.

PROS-
- There's no fabric so it's really easy to clean. We have a shark steam mop and that easily removes all the gunk that builds up over time.
- tray top snaps on and off so it's easy to clean. You can pop it off while still leave the wooden tray in place.
- solid wood and easy to move around
- transitions into a real chair when you're ready
- looks nice (we have a very open living/ dining room so I didn't want tacky kid crap taking over the whole house). It blends in with the rest of our furniture.

CONS-
- must be able to sit up unsupported even with using the infant insert
- infant insert is not included and it's $$$ but sometimes you can buy them used
- there's only a waist belt ( not an over the shoulder 5 point harness) and if you've got a skinny climber like me, they can easily get out (thankfully once the novelty wore off he stopped doing i!)
-the tray is small which is fine for eating but ifs hard for DS1 to color or do play dough since there is limited space.

My in- laws bought a stokkee trip trap to keep at their house (it's the same idea but different design) and ended up returning it. The leg openings were much too small for my chunky newphew.

@buckleyk, thanks so much for all the info, super helpful! I don't like the look of so many high chairs too, all the crazy baby patterns and bright colors drive me nuts. Our kitchen is open right into our family room also, so it will totally be visible. I originally loved all the plain wood looking styles too, but had heard good things about the OXO. It's a little "plastic-y" looking, but still very plain and simple looking.

Do you know if the OXO collapses to store it? I read some reviews and people were saying you can't put it away, which seems odd to me!

I don't remember what brand ours is but I got one of the small ones that strap to a real chair and it's super portable/easy to put away, I love it

Probably the fisher price space saver high chair and I just got mine off amazon. Straps right to our dining room chair. I love it.

I have the XO seedling high chair. I really like it and LO fits comfortable in it. It's easy to load baby in and out of and the tray slides out easily. The seat cover is machine washable (we haven't done much eating in it yet to need to wash it) and you can recline pretty far back in it while still staying secure with the five point harness. Also, it's super easy to put together. The chair doesn't collapse but I just roll it to an open corner the keep when not in use.

We have the OXO tot seedling too and love it! As a PP said, it doesn't collapse but it doesn't take up too much more room than a dining room chair. I like it because it reclines, it's easy to clean, the height is adjustable, and it is simple looking. We got ours at Buy Buy Baby and used a 20% off coupon! Definitely recommend it!

The tot sprout does not fold up. I don't know about the seedling.

Joovy makes a high chair that folds up easily. We used it at a beach house we rented and it was great. It also have the tray cover that snaps off so it's easy to clean and it folded up flat. I think I just saw on Instagram that they just came out with some new colors.

We used the first one once at a rental beach house. Crumbs got stuck in the seams of the leatherette which was annoying but it wiped down easily. They just came out with the wood version that also folds up. I haven't seen it in person but it looks cool.
