So I still lurk on the TTGP Board because I love seeing the BFP announcements and how excited they all get when someone gets one (gifs etc). I especially am lurking daily this month to see who else from TTGP joins us in the N16 BMB. I'd guess many of us from TTGP still do. Anyway, I like their GTKY today so I figured I'd borrow it.
What was your first car? Bonus for anyone who can share a funny story about it.
Re: GTKY - First Car Edition
I had a grey 1987 Nissan Sentra. I got it in 1998 and while it old I still proudly drove it around. The gray paint was somewhat worn and so it looked more like stone so my BFF named it Stoney LOL.
Anyway, good old Stoney lasted a few years before she died on me (literally she stopped in the middle of the road (thankfully a residential one) and started smoking. #RIP
Bonus: If you put the passenger window down past a certain point the door would open! Some call it dangerous I call it an added safety feature LOL.

I bought it just a couple of days before I found out I was pregnant with my first.
Priscilla needed a bunch of work before she could be certified to run on the roads here, so I ended up getting rid of her without ever making the repairs because, well, we needed something more family friendly.
Son, K, 9 | Daughter, C, 5 | Daughter, M, expected November 7, 2016
Bonus: I believe it was the choke that didn't work properly so when I would start it I had to keep revving the engine for a good ten minutes to keep it running. Also, because of this issue while driving the engine would just shut off and I'd have to pop the clutch to get it going again.
Additional bonus: I got rear ended and the guy hit me so hard he bent the frame so my back doors no longer would open. While it didn't effect me much my friends hated having to crawl into the back seat from either the window or the front seat.
I maintain I'd still be driving the LBC today if a girl hadn't hit me sophomore year of college and totaled the thing.
I got rear-ended (hard) about 5 years ago and that was the end of it. It was a sad day.
i let a friend borrow it and the fuel pump gave out, my dad went to try and fix it but couldn't so we left it overnight until we could pick it up with a trailer in the morning, it was burnt out while parked there.
i cried for days...
