UO: I can't stand the acronyms ("DH" etc.) and especially all of the euphemisms (also usually abbreviated) in these pregnancy boards. We are here because we are talking about pregnancy, sex, eggs, sperm, vaginas, etc. We are all adults.

THIS.
But at the same time I get it. But it's still so not my thing.
I am totally on board with hating the DH acronym and lately have just been posting H because Im a rebel!
And Im with the blump argument. (Absolutely love that term for it!) I dont really care if someone is excited over the bloat, if it is caused by being pregnant then to me its a pregnancy bump and doesnt have to be from the size of baby. I say let them enjoy it because I know Im super excited for my blump! To me it will be a reminder that it is real. However, I wouldnt necessarily go bragging and definitely wont be posting pictures of it though.
UO: I can't stand Taylor Swift. She just seems too doe-like and innocent. Seems fake.
Yeah agree 100%. Ever since she said a couple years ago that she wasn't a feminist (as if feminism was an extremist stance) I've had nothing but side eyes for her. I would pay for that girl to take a women's studies class. A role model for so many girls should know better.

These issues are always interesting and can sometimes be quite divisive. I think that a certain about of excitement is fine, but I dislike it when people spread/perpetuate misinformation. There is a LOT of myth surrounding pregnancy and childbirth and those myths change in different cultures. Some of them are harmless but some can be dangerous - like women peeing on drano to determine the sex of the baby, or women using castor oil to induce labor.
Historically, this site (more than others) is all about sharing real information based on fact, and I think that's a good thing, even if a few people are albums out because it turns out their "baby" is just bloating.
I really don't like being IN weddings, although I accept "happily" every time I'm asked. I appreciate that my friends/family think highly enough of me to ask though, it's just that I would much rather be a guest and not have to feel any of the stress/awkwardness/etc. associated with being a bridesmaid.

Long hashtags are annoying.
I hate Beyonce. A lot.
