I EBF and I'm tired of drinking just water, but LO reacts to all yellow juices with a sore bottom. Grape juice makes him gassy. What do you girls drink that has a little taste? By the way I hate tea!
I like to add sliced cucumber to my water or lemon & lime. I've even added raspberries to my water bottle. I drink seltzer too (polar). Not that exciting but alternatives to juice
I like to drink naked juice occasionally. Higher calories so I try not to drink more than one of the smaller bottles a day but it's great for breaking up just drinking water. I've also gotten juice concentrate and mixed it with a clear soda like Sierra mist or 7up. My favorite is using apple cranberry.
I stumbled across a cranberry hibiscus juice a few weeks ago and have been buying it ever since. So good!! I usually make "juice water" by diluting the juice with 16-24 ounces of water. Then I get a good hit of hydration for my juice buck.
I have an infuser water bottle...put whatever you want (lemons, limes, berries, cucumbers) the night before and you have delicious water in the morning!
Wine - i just wait till she does her first long stretch of zzzs in the evening.
But for juices, what about pomegranate juice? It's good for you. Or go for those hearty green juices with everything in them. But i should warn you. They usually contain a side of yellow.
Have you tried any of the flavor drops or Crystal Light? I'm not sure if those things are good for baby. While I was pregnant, in order to drink water I had to invest in a few Dasani flavor drops, because I just couldn't take the taste of plain water all day long.
