Boy sibling for Charlotte

DH and I are sort of stuck on even coming up with boy names.  Our daughter is Charlotte, and we like more traditional classic, even regal, names.  The name that I love is William, but DH has an uncle William, and in his family you can't name a baby the same name as someone who is still living.  Any ideas?

    I wouldn't go with George for obvious reasons. :)

    Lets see, traditional classic names: 
    Edward
    Arthur
    Franklin
    Nicklaus 
    Elijah 
    Elliot
    Christopher
    Phillip

    Those are just a few that would work well with Charlotte.

    We are in the same boat!  Our Charlotte is almost 3 and we are having a boy in June.  Grant was my top choice but DH vetoed that one.  My grandfather was George, but I think two royal names are out.  Here are some others I like but can't use for various reasons:

    Matthew
    Logan
    Connor
    Daniel
    Gabriel
    Peter
    Thomas

    momma2char I think Liam would be OK, I don't think a lot of people realize it's a moniker of William.  However, DH's best friend is naming their son Liam.  I'm also not a huge fan of trendy names like that (disclaimer: I loved the name Charlotte waaaaay before it became popular again, so I don't consider that trendy, it just happened to take off during my childbearing years lol).

    @SkiChic626 same with me! I've loved the name Charlotte for years so my daughter is also a Charlotte. Liam is definitely a trendy name. Another name I can think of similar to William is Walter? I hope you're able to find a name that fits your fam! :smile:
