For FTMs and those getting used to breastfeeding everyone keeps recommending to me "soothies" by lansinoh... Gel type nipple pads from what I can gather that you can also stick in the fridge too for even colder relief.. Reusable upto 72 hours.. Target has them on "sale" now for 8.99 in store but their website says 7.48 so they'll price match.
@amyid those and the medela ones are life. My LC at the hospital gave me some. Mine are in the fridge waiting for me right now after I'm done pumping. Stock up.
