My cousin name her kids Jack (cute but so popular), Mae (mom's name is Megan), June (strange when you already have a Mae), and Rose.

Not my style. And they were SO secretive about all of their names. Even after the kids were born (they were always team green), they wouldn't say other names they were considering.

Apparently when mom was pregnant with Duchess the elementary school teachers had a pool betting on what the new baby would be named.

My neighbor (my parents' age) Joe has a twin sister named Joann. They're 2 of 10 "J's". He married a Judy and have 3 J-named kids.

DH has both a sister AND a step-sister named Jennifer (ah the late 80s). Luckily one was always Jenny and one was always Jennifer.

Similarly, everytime I see a "Brooklyn" "Camden" or "aspen" I think "your parents never visited that city"

Also, my mom's best friend's dad was Jack Daniels. His parents were devout Baptists (no alcohol) and apparently had no idea what they were naming him. Mom tried to visit while he was in the hospital and got hung up on (assumed to be a prank call) the first time she called to check if it was a good time. After that she always started with "I promise this is a real patient..."
