    Waydtgktfu: Everything
R/R/CS: After expecting to O on Cd 17, I finally got a positive OPK this morning!!!!! The 2 lines are equally dark, so I'm going with positive. Yesterday I had a tinge of blood that seemed like it had to be ovulation spotting and the OPK was pretty dark with diluted urine. Oh also I slept 8 hours last night! Things are starting to look up. My temp spiked today, but that could just be the wine I drank last night. Planning to drink again tonight, so I'm not sure I can count on it.

Here's the TMI weird thing: my CM has been watery at best and my CP has been all over the place- soft, high, open yesterday afternoon, high and firm open (is that possible?) today. I don't know what's going on, so we're just gonna keep BD-ing and call this o-day.

Gtky: 36! Some of the ones from the 80s I watched part of as a little kid, but I counted them anyway!

R/R/CS:  well, I got positive digital OPK today and high advice. Digital.  Normally this would be right around a fake-out surge, but my temp was high this AM (though I'm not feeling the best), and I have my second acupuncture appointment today, so we'll see what the next couple of days bring.

GTKY:  I think mine is going to end up being low!  17.5. I'm only giving Ben Hur a half because MIL loves it and I think has made me sit through all of it once and all the pieces of it more than once, but I didn't really try to watch it or enjoy it and I'm not sure I could tell you anything about it other than (the slaves have to row a boat at some point).  Going through the list, there were definitely a few I didn't remember having won (like Shakespeare in Love?!)!

WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNV, OPK, BBT, CM

R/R/CS: Our timing was SO good last cycle and DH got his hopes up and was acting as if there was still a chance despite my BBT crashing leading to AF. It's frustrating trying to be rational and scientific about it when he's clueless and hopeful.

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? 32! I'm usually good about seeing nominees beforehand, but this year I've slacked.
  • **lurking from TWW (I think... Switched to FAM and it killed my CH)**
@thefarmerswife0411 - are you enjoying your whole30? I'm thinking of doing that with my DH next month.
  • @chloe97 - hooray for positive OPK! FX for O some!  36 is more than double what I've seen!
    @delujm0 - FX for a good TWW!
@RatsPJ - ugh.  Crushed hopes suck.  :( I had a cycle I was convinced was going to be successful and then I was sad for like the entire next cycle when it didn't.  I don't really have any good advice for how not to other than trying to remind of the odds frequently.  That's what I do with myself.
@thefarmerswife - GL with Whole30ing at the party!  You can do it!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD:  2. I was CD29 until late, late last night when AF decided to make the loudest, most horrible grand entrance of all time, 2 days earlier than I would have guessed.

WAYDTGKU:  I'm going hardcore on temping this time. I did a crap job of it last time (not doing it every day, also didn't start using FF until after O) and am *hoping* I Oed between the 12th and the 14th. I definitely had a temp jump by the 14th (by a half-degree, and it was still that high the next day, not sick), but I also had a positive OPK on the 16th but it makes no sense to me since I was already experiencing really hardcore progesterone symptoms by then. So yeah, only reliable options: BD and freaking consistent temping.

R/R/CS: AF so everything is a rant :)

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?  It's sad that when there was one that I have seen, I yelled out to OH "THERE'S ONE I HAVE SEEN!" (13 total).

WAYDTGKU: At this point waiting for AF to end!

R/R/CS: This is my first official WTO post. I jumped in to the TWW two weeks ago. I'm starting to temp this cycle, and I'm sure I'll have questions as I go along. I'm excited to start to understand my cycle better. I've always had an idea of my FW based on CM and ovulation pain, but im happy to be adding an extra layer to all of that. I've spent the last month learning as much as possible so here's to month 1!

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?

@thefarmerswife0411 I make it a point to try to watch the Oscar nominees every year, but I don't watch the violent ones, otherwise that number would be higher! @MrsDho11 yay for OPK+!! @delujm0 Yay for CH!! Hope to see you over in TWW in a few days!

Sorry to those dealing with AF! Hope this is your month!
  • @chloe97 Yay for your +OPK and normal sleep! As for CP, I check at least 3 times a day in the FW because it moves so much. A theme definitely becomes apparent though. All other times I just check first thing in the morning.

@MrsDho11 FX for O to go as you anticipate/need it to go for timing. I hope your acupuncture session goes well.

@delujm0 Yay for CH! I hope to join you by Monday.

@thefarmerswife0411 I always love the extra sparkle my jewelry gets with the professional cleaning. It was so fortunate your H found it in the pea trap!

R/R/CS: Just waiting out 2 more high day-temps to confirm O before moving on to the TWW.

R/R/CS: Go home FF, you're drunk (though I suppose that was me). Last night we shared a bottle of wine and yesterday I slept through my alarm. So after two wonky temps,  I have dotted CH. I call bull because I have had zero fertile CM, my post-O temps tend to be higher, and that would mean I ovulated almost 10 days early (usually cycle day 19). So I'm going to hang out here and HIO until FF gets its act together.

WAYDTGKU:  bbt, opk, pnvs - the basics for bumpers :)

R/R/CS:  I'm just going to say I'm proud of myself for not losing it yesterday when I found out a friend and his wife are expecting. For some background -- I had a bit of a good-natured rivalry with him in grad school; I came out on top in our classes but he got into med school two years ago and I had a full-on breakdown in my car in a Starbucks parking lot when he put it on facebook because he had never mentioned it and led us all to believe he was heading for a vastly different career in academia... I don't know, it just made me feel like an idiot for telling him about my hopes and dreams of becoming a doctor, and I had/have been working so hard for so long.  So I looked him up yesterday out of curiosity and his wall is just weekly pics of his wife with her belly bump, and his profile pic was them holding an ultrasound with "It's a girl!".  I actually said "Of Course" out loud and started giggling.  Whatever.  As I explained to my husband, "There was definitely an emotional cliff and I could have jumped but I didn't."  I guess this is how you build resilience??

    WAYDTGKU: Temping & Coitus

R/R/CS:  I had an increase in temp this morning but I slept in a little and was just hot in general..  Today is the second day in my FW, O is predicted for Monday, so who knows as this is my first cycle temping.  You can view my chart in my signature.

I have done a little lurking/searching on boards and have decided not to give up my coffee, for sure not before I get a bfp and probably not after. I tried last cycle to see if I could and I just yawned all day long for an entire month.

I should do some stuff for work but I really don't feel like it.  I feel like catching up on the fertility lesson e-mails I have had to ignore all week! Or reading a good book.. or doing absolutely nothing at all.  Right now I'm cuddling with my pups and enjoying the morning.

The Hubz and I have been watching Fuller House.  It's so great - this is what.. if I were to get KU.. I would want my kid watching.  TGIF was such a great experience for me as a kid.. that sounds stupid but w/e.

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?

    Eta.. my epiphany below..

43 - this is more than I expected.  I started in the 1960s. JUST KIDDING because I didn't read the instructions. It said WON.. The winner.. not nominee.. crap.  Probably only 3 or 4 do I remember being highlighted. I'm not going back to check.  smh. I fail.

I am with you on being cried out.  This CD1 I just felt depressed and detached - like completely not myself and apathetic about everything.  So glad you have the SA to look forward to (on any other forum that would sound insane but you know what I mean! ).  Hope it goes well.  I am counting down to my appointment - 12 days - and I cannot wait to see what my obgyn thinks we should do next.  I need data, please!

Hi everyone! I'm mobile bumping today so sorry for posting and running--I loathe mobile bumping but am forced to do it on the weekends.

R/R/CS:  *rant* I had to unfollow my coworker's wife on Facebook. they have a week old baby and although I mostly enjoy seeing pics of her, she posts every 2 seconds and I just can't handle it. She also posted a huge status about how she absolutely recommends hypno-birthing for soon-to-be moms who are considering natural birth and how much it helped her go through her labor. Ok, I have nothing against hypnobirthing OR natural labor, but after this status I come to find out that she had an epidural herself. I think she is either confused about what "natural" birth means or she is trying to make it seem like she didn't get an epidural. Idk why this bothers me so much, but it just did. I was like---nope, unfollow. Buh bye.

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?

I am gonna go ahead and guess about 10 at the most. I love movies, but hubby and I are way more into TV and choose to invest in DVR/satellite each month rather than going to the movies.

  • I'm sorry for all the CD1's ::hugs::
@canavara I'm not sure if I read it right, but if AF started late last night most sources suggest you count today as CD1 instead of yesterday.

That's what I thought too! FF makes it really confusing because if you list any kind of non-spotting bleeding, it automatically shifts your chart to the next cycle, even if it was a light flow that started at 11PM.

@RatsPJAwe mine does this too.  I'm sorry,  I know how sad and frustrating it is.  Sometimes I send DH those little charting lessons or good scientific info I read.  That way it is not me being "pessimistic"...  It's just science.  Anyway,   *hugs*

R/R/CS:  My fur baby got his stitches out and cast bandage off this morning.  The incision healed beautifully but some skin came off his paw when they pulled the bandage adhesive off so he has another small bandage on for a few days.  FX he starts walking on the leg more now that it has more free range of motion.  Otherwise we are off to PT.  his leg looks so tiny and pathetic with it all shaved.

GTKY:  I've seen 53!  Soooo many good films.  Silence of the Lambs is probably my fav of the best picture winners.

R/R/CS:  I know I'm still a few days out from my FW at least, but I'm still bummed each when the CBFM hasn't moved up to peak.  And 5 of the last 9 temps were the exact same so this thing is going back in the mail at the end of this cycle.

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?  17 or 18...there are some great movies on that list, a handful of which were permanents in our DVR folder until we moved.  Screw you DirecTV for putting expirations on our DVR recordings now.

R/R/CS: (rant)  AF is finally gone, and DH is on shift today.

(Rave) DH got me a new carpet washer/steamer and a mixer. He spent the day yesterday cleaning the house and washing the carpets while I was at work. I was so nice to come home to a clean house! He even had dinner made. Since the house is all clean, I am spending my day baking up a storm. I love to bake! I find it very relaxing.

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?  (See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_Award_for_Best_Picture)

I have seen 56 of the movies listed. Most of them were ones that I watched in school or college for the various literature courses I took. I had one professor who would require you to watch the movie, read the book, and then write a paper about some key concept of the book the movie was lacking.

GTKY:  How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? Oh geez I have no idea.  Is it bad that I have no clue??  lol  I do watch movies, I guess I don't pay attention to what awards they win. Primarily focus if I liked the movie and/or want to see it again!

  • @khbear; you know there are good days & bad days - but mostly good! I still can't get over (on day 20!) how little I miss grains & dairy. I am craving bread today but it's the 1st time since we started that I have. I actually don't miss drinking too much either, but I think since we're TTC & I just started work that plays into that. If I was stressed @ work and not TTC (even though I"m def drink until it's pink) I think I might miss drinking a bit more lol. DH was REALLY strong until the last few days, he's officially over it & having "sneaky treats" for the last 10 days lol. Keep me posted if you end up doing it! Happy to share recipes!!

@MrsDho11; Thank you- STAYING STRONG!!! Bring a pack of Grapefruit La Croix with me to keep me occupied!!!

@GhanimaAtreides; Ahhh! Picking up my ring today, I will post a photo tomorrow :) So so so so blessed! Also- stupid QQ; background on your username ?

@lcsrva; WHOA!!!!!! (102!) You and DH would totally get along lol.
