Cd 24
Gtky: 36! Some of the ones from the 80s I watched part of as a little kid, but I counted them anyway!
ETA Month/Cycle
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: usual + acupuncture
R/R/CS: well, I got positive digital OPK today and high advice. Digital. Normally this would be right around a fake-out surge, but my temp was high this AM (though I'm not feeling the best), and I have my second acupuncture appointment today, so we'll see what the next couple of days bring.
GTKY: I think mine is going to end up being low! 17.5. I'm only giving Ben Hur a half because MIL loves it and I think has made me sit through all of it once and all the pieces of it more than once, but I didn't really try to watch it or enjoy it and I'm not sure I could tell you anything about it other than (the slaves have to row a boat at some point). Going through the list, there were definitely a few I didn't remember having won (like Shakespeare in Love?!)!
TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
CD: 4
WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNV, OPK, BBT, CM
R/R/CS: Our timing was SO good last cycle and DH got his hopes up and was acting as if there was still a chance despite my BBT crashing leading to AF. It's frustrating trying to be rational and scientific about it when he's clueless and hopeful.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? 32! I'm usually good about seeing nominees beforehand, but this year I've slacked.
@chloe97; holy crap 36! my DH is impressed, i'm a TV girl & have only seen 9 winners lol
Month/Cycle: 10/10
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: BBT, FF, PNV,+DHA BD ED/EOD, NO BOOZE (DAMN YOU WHOLE30! LOL)
R/R/CS:
Rant: Ugh- we decided to go to the party tonite. I'm going to stay strong & pack snacks but it's going to be really hard - DAMN YOU whole30! lol .
Rave- MY RING IS READY FOR PICK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GTKY: Oh crap- DH is already making fun of me, I went all the way back to the 20s and have only seen 9 winners. Kinda embarrassing I suppose! I've always been much more into TV than movies, I have to be "in the mood" to sit around for a few hours- unless Leonardo DiCaprio is involved, I've seen all of his & have been in love with him since I was 11, DH is KINDA ok with it lol.

@thefarmerswife0411 - are you enjoying your whole30? I'm thinking of doing that with my DH next month.
@delujm0 - FX for a good TWW!
@RatsPJ - ugh. Crushed hopes suck.
@thefarmerswife - GL with Whole30ing at the party! You can do it!
TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
CD: 2. I was CD29 until late, late last night when AF decided to make the loudest, most horrible grand entrance of all time, 2 days earlier than I would have guessed.
WAYDTGKU: I'm going hardcore on temping this time. I did a crap job of it last time (not doing it every day, also didn't start using FF until after O) and am *hoping* I Oed between the 12th and the 14th. I definitely had a temp jump by the 14th (by a half-degree, and it was still that high the next day, not sick), but I also had a positive OPK on the 16th but it makes no sense to me since I was already experiencing really hardcore progesterone symptoms by then. So yeah, only reliable options: BD and freaking consistent temping.
R/R/CS: AF so everything is a rant
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? It's sad that when there was one that I have seen, I yelled out to OH "THERE'S ONE I HAVE SEEN!" (13 total).
CD: 1 (Hello AF)
WAYDTGKU: At this point waiting for AF to end!
R/R/CS: This is my first official WTO post. I jumped in to the TWW two weeks ago. I'm starting to temp this cycle, and I'm sure I'll have questions as I go along. I'm excited to start to understand my cycle better. I've always had an idea of my FW based on CM and ovulation pain, but im happy to be adding an extra layer to all of that. I've spent the last month learning as much as possible so here's to month 1!
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?
22! Which is way more than I originally thought. I'm not a big movie person.

GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? Well this is a little embarrassing! To be fair I haven't been much of a movie person until more recently! I've only seen 22 of the nominees and 4 of the actual winners

WAYDTGKU: charting everything, acupuncture
R/R/CS: I spotted a bit yesterday and all fertile signs are gone today with no temp rise so I'm guessing AF is coming. Everything looked like O was going to happen, but I guess body changed its mind. Oh well. Maybe AF will stay away and I can try to O again...
GTKY: 27! I'm surprised. I don't watch a lot of movies generally. Only the really good ones I guess.

WAYDTGKU: bbt, hio
R/R/CS: I took a few days off from tb after the start of this last af. I may have been too hopeful, it hit me hard. But I'm back and dh and I are ready to get back to hio.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?
23. I have seen a lot more nominees than I have actual winners though, some if my favorites were nominees.
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, Metformin, EOD, OPKs temping
R/R/CS: started EOD today and I broke down and bought clear blue advanced digital ovulation tests. Even though I have like 30 wondfos. It killed me to spend so much on them but I'm hoping this will help me be sure about it. Starting them tomorrow.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?

WAYDTGKU : PVN, BBT, CM, TCM, EOD starting today
R/R/CS: Go home FF, you're drunk (though I suppose that was me). Last night we shared a bottle of wine and yesterday I slept through my alarm. So after two wonky temps, I have dotted CH. I call bull because I have had zero fertile CM, my post-O temps tend to be higher, and that would mean I ovulated almost 10 days early (usually cycle day 19). So I'm going to hang out here and HIO until FF gets its act together.

WAYDTGKU: bbt, opk, pnvs - the basics for bumpers
R/R/CS: I'm just going to say I'm proud of myself for not losing it yesterday when I found out a friend and his wife are expecting. For some background -- I had a bit of a good-natured rivalry with him in grad school; I came out on top in our classes but he got into med school two years ago and I had a full-on breakdown in my car in a Starbucks parking lot when he put it on facebook because he had never mentioned it and led us all to believe he was heading for a vastly different career in academia... I don't know, it just made me feel like an idiot for telling him about my hopes and dreams of becoming a doctor, and I had/have been working so hard for so long. So I looked him up yesterday out of curiosity and his wall is just weekly pics of his wife with her belly bump, and his profile pic was them holding an ultrasound with "It's a girl!". I actually said "Of Course" out loud and started giggling. Whatever. As I explained to my husband, "There was definitely an emotional cliff and I could have jumped but I didn't." I guess this is how you build resilience??

WAYDTGKU: Trying to HIO but DH has a stomach ache. NOT COOL BRO.
R/R/CS: Pretty sure I O'ed yesterday, but waiting on a temp shift to confirm it. I am learning this cycle that my body apparently does All The Annoying Things, including a slow temp shift, which usually takes a second day to really become apparent. After playing with temps and what-if scenarios a bunch this morning, I'm still pretty sure about that O.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? 102! Whoa! I don't even consider myself to be much of a movie person! I was actually pretty impressed that I'd seen 20 of the nominated films from before 1950. I was not a cartoons kid, though - I was a musical theater kid. So that explains a lot.

WAYDTGKU: Temping & Coitus
R/R/CS: I had an increase in temp this morning but I slept in a little and was just hot in general.. Today is the second day in my FW, O is predicted for Monday, so who knows as this is my first cycle temping. You can view my chart in my signature.
I have done a little lurking/searching on boards and have decided not to give up my coffee, for sure not before I get a bfp and probably not after. I tried last cycle to see if I could and I just yawned all day long for an entire month.
I should do some stuff for work but I really don't feel like it. I feel like catching up on the fertility lesson e-mails I have had to ignore all week! Or reading a good book.. or doing absolutely nothing at all. Right now I'm cuddling with my pups and enjoying the morning.
The Hubz and I have been watching Fuller House. It's so great - this is what.. if I were to get KU.. I would want my kid watching. TGIF was such a great experience for me as a kid.. that sounds stupid but w/e.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?
Eta.. my epiphany below..
43 - this is more than I expected. I started in the 1960s. JUST KIDDING because I didn't read the instructions. It said WON.. The winner.. not nominee.. crap. Probably only 3 or 4 do I remember being highlighted. I'm not going back to check. smh. I fail.

R/R/CS: Just blah. Didn't cry as much this time, I think I cried myself dry last cycle. Can't believe we are already on cycle 8, it is just disheartening. On the plus side, we'll hopefully get some good info with the SA and then I have an appointment scheduled in April.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?
Oh man, I'm embarrassed. I'm with you at seeing only 9 of the winners @thefarmerswife0411 - pretty sad, right?! Are some of you counting all nominees and not just winners?? I hope so lol!

Then HSG is next on the list of not KU this cycle. I hate it, but I'm glad we are working towards getting KU by trying to do whatever is necessary. Doesn't matter how it happens at this point.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?
Haven't even looked at the list, but I'll guess zero. I'm a weirdo who HATES movies! All movies!
I haven't been to a theater since high school. I only agree to "watching" them at home because I can fall asleep or do other things. I just can't sit still that long, I get so bored or think of everything else I should be doing! I'm weird, I know.

R/R/CS: *rant* I had to unfollow my coworker's wife on Facebook. they have a week old baby and although I mostly enjoy seeing pics of her, she posts every 2 seconds and I just can't handle it. She also posted a huge status about how she absolutely recommends hypno-birthing for soon-to-be moms who are considering natural birth and how much it helped her go through her labor. Ok, I have nothing against hypnobirthing OR natural labor, but after this status I come to find out that she had an epidural herself. I think she is either confused about what "natural" birth means or she is trying to make it seem like she didn't get an epidural. Idk why this bothers me so much, but it just did. I was like---nope, unfollow. Buh bye.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen?
I am gonna go ahead and guess about 10 at the most. I love movies, but hubby and I are way more into TV and choose to invest in DVR/satellite each month rather than going to the movies.

Testing with RE October 2016
BFP 11/5/2016 ~ EDD 7/19/2016
****Lurking from Sept 2016*****
Hi ladies.....not much going on over in Sept 2016 so I thought I'd say hello!
@lcsrva- I hope you get confirmed CH soon!! I almost hated playing with my temps sometimes because it would almost make me more anxious the next few days!! Hoping for CH for you!!
@Sporty18- Sorry about CD1 for you glad you have the SA ordered though and you'll be doing it during AF. That's how we did ours too so it wouldn't interfere with FW. Are you going to see your GYN or an RE?
@whiska- If I were you, I'd make your apt with an RE based on how long you guys have been TTC. I found my GYN was not very concerned about much of anything and one of the ones I even saw said it can take up to 2 years to get a BFP. They didn't want to order an HSG and that was one of the 1st things the RE did when I went to see them. So if your GYN is not very proactive- I'd consider making the apt with an RE. If your annual exam happens to fall next month, then I guess I'd still keep the appointment, and if you think they will be more pro active about things, then you can see how it goes, but I would seriously consider an RE at this point in the game.
@mlight28- glad to hear all of your test results are normal! FX that you won't even need the HSG but if you do, that the results of that are clear too!
@CajunSnowWhite89- Glad to see you are going to see an RE. Hopefully you'll get some answers sooner than later! How long have you been temping out of curiosity of the months that you've been TTC? I have a friend who was TTC off and on for 2 years and in the last 6 months or so they had been seriously TTC and she started temping. but she was looking at her charts all wrong and they were set up to do IUI back in November. She and I had been talking about her charts and how she was reading them and I kept telling her she was looking at her O date the wrong way. When she went to go see the RE he agreed with what I'd been telling her. Well, they didn't need the IUI on the last month because they got lucky on their own. Also, on that note, I've heard some RE's don't put much stock into temping these days and are more in favor of OPKS....Good luck to you!!

R/R/CS: I got sick on Thursday and my temps should be discarded. Love getting sick right before ovulation is expected. YAY!!! Baby shower season has commenced, one tomorrow for a close friend who struggled and lost a pregnancy. Totally happy for them. A few more to go. Praying for peace of mind and no anxiety.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? Oh geez I have no idea. Is it bad that I have no clue?? lol I do watch movies, I guess I don't pay attention to what awards they win. Primarily focus if I liked the movie and/or want to see it again!

@khbear; you know there are good days & bad days - but mostly good! I still can't get over (on day 20!) how little I miss grains & dairy. I am craving bread today but it's the 1st time since we started that I have. I actually don't miss drinking too much either, but I think since we're TTC & I just started work that plays into that. If I was stressed @ work and not TTC (even though I"m def drink until it's pink) I think I might miss drinking a bit more lol. DH was REALLY strong until the last few days, he's officially over it & having "sneaky treats" for the last 10 days lol. Keep me posted if you end up doing it! Happy to share recipes!!
@MrsDho11; Thank you- STAYING STRONG!!! Bring a pack of Grapefruit La Croix with me to keep me occupied!!!
@GhanimaAtreides; Ahhh! Picking up my ring today, I will post a photo tomorrow

R/R/CS: I don't know what's going on this month. My chart sucks. I totally thought O was yesterday, but temp this morning didn't confirm it... We're just going to keep HIO until I get a temp shift. This cycle is really stressing me out. I've said it before and I'll say it again, TTCAL sucks.
GTKY: How many movies that have won best picture at the Academy Awards have you actually seen? Haha, I've only seen 14 of the winning movies.
