Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Woke up to pee 4x last night. And my headaches are back in full force this week. I don't think it's a coincidence that they're this bad on days I'm at work... Rave: Today is my Friday! Yay! Symptoms: The heartburn is real, yo! I was so sure it was going to make me throw up last night...I was struggling.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Prenatal water yoga tonight! I had to miss it last week because of how sick I was, so I'm really excited to get in the water tonight. (As long as the weather cooperates & classes aren't cancelled). GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Oh, tough. I'd really like to say that I am, but honestly I think it's H. I'm the one in charge of our bank account & making sure bills are paid, but he's the one always making sure I'm putting enough into our savings. Plus, I like to shop way too much, & sometimes he's got to keep me in check. We work well as a team when it comes to money, but I think I've got to admit that he's just a bit smarter with it.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant- Once again slept horribly last night despite the fact I have a body pillow I'm using. Restless legs prevent me from being able to put the pillow between my knees and horrible hip pain when laying on my left side makes me toss and turn to the right every night. Oh and joy to waking up with horrible lower back pain which I'm hoping that's just from sleeping terribly and not BH because I'm not even sure what to look for. Rave-baby still moving so that's good, first birthing class is Monday and I'm kind of nervous lol. It's really sinking in that we'll have a baby in just 3 months! Yikes! Symptoms-hip pain, RLS, RLP, back pain, leg pain..joy
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gestating for now.
Questions? None I can think of this early in the morning.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO
Ugh unfortunately neither of us are the best but I am the one who tries to diligently keep track of spending and have to remind my husband what we need to save money for etc. Plus I am the one who files our taxes since he's clueless about that stuff. I hate money..blech
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Nothing really to rant about today. Rave: Tonight I'm going to a girls paint night with my sister and two of my aunt's. I won't get to have any of the wine, but it should still be fun! Symptoms: RLP, hungry, sore feet, boobies. I went back to bed (for once) after H left for work today. As soon as I laid down my stomach started growling - at 4:30 am. I couldn't sleep with a hungry tummy, so I went and made a half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and ate it in bed.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Not a whole lot until we get the rest of the furniture set up in baby's room. Apparently we are missing a part for the crib that FIL gave us, so we have to go get that before we can finish setting it up. Registry is finished, baby shower invites going out soon.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? We work together on most finance related items and decisions, but with the work schedule H used to have it was just easier for me to take over the budget/bill paying side of things. I got a system down so now I just do it all the time. We took Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace course a couple of years ago and it was one of the best investments we ever made.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: actually slept last night, only woke up once! I'm still exhausted, wondering if baby is having a growth spurt & therefore taking more of my energy? I've had a lot of tightness in my belly, some sharp pains, they've made me super nervous & highly sensitive to whether or not I can feel baby afterwords (this morning I've laid in bed way too long assuring myself with kicks). They felt harder earlier in the week, guessing baby changed positions?
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Working!
Questions? Kegals... Who is actually doing them, how often? How do you know you're doing them right? I've been awful about it!
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? I manage our $$, pay our bills, set up our budgets etc. I shop more (or used to) than DH but he has a need for instant gratification ($$ burns a hole in his pocket), I see more long term.
@MsBeachNJ Whenever they come to mind, I do them...but, that's not often, lol. In the pregnancy book I read it suggested trying to "hold" one for as long as you can during a commercial break while watching tv, & you'll know you're doing it right because it almost gives you a nervous feeling in your gut. Sounds weird, but it's true. I definitely need to try to remember to do them more often.
Haven't participated in one of these daily check-ins in quite a while! Hello, all!!!
How far along are you? 26 weeks today! Size of a head of lettuce. Or two rolls of Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I've lost the great motivation I had to eat more healthfully. Lucky Charms for breakfast, FTW. Rave: Good night of sleep last night! Not feeling achy or groggy this morning!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Going on Friday for the glucose challenge.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely my husband. He is very organized, disciplined, and goal oriented. Years ago he set up a spreadsheet where he inputs all our expenses- we have a certain amount allotted for each type of expense, with anything extra being set aside for savings and investments. He is a good influence on me.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: RAVE: I had no indigestion, heartburn, or nausea last night. I wish I knew why but it was such a novel and exciting feeling to go to bed just feeling GOOD. And I woke up hungry! Like a normal person! Yoga tonight... lots to rave about. We don't have a snow day, and it was predicted that we might, but I got a lot done yesterday in anticipation so hopefully today can be fairly relaxed.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I think we're good for awhile- looking forward to taking some of the baby stuff out of my mom's closet (where I'm storing it) later next month. My ergo carrier was practically glued to me during the first couple of months with my daughter and it'll be nice to get it out again- same with my sling- good memories! GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? HA! Are you kidding? Him! He's sooo practical and is all about the budget spreadsheets (as his recent sleep-talking can attest to!) etc. I'm much more "live for today (within reason), you can never really know what the future holds etc. etc." We're a good balance. He keeps me from overspending and I keep him from never having fun and splurging from time to time. I was the one who twisted his arm to get a new couch (ours was covered in duct tape) and he LOVES it.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Restless legs meant I got about 4-5 hours of sleep last night. It was rough and I hate it. Trying to take it easier so the contractions go away and to help the med work.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Keeping them in there!
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? It depends. I have an accounting degree so I do our taxes and things like that. He works with our financial guy on what stocks to buy/sell for the small amount of savings we have. We are a good team.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@mrsschmity - I really wanted a PB&J a few days ago, but we were out of jelly and bread, so I used strawberry syrup and crackers. Not the same, but still delicious! Thanks to you, I would like one again... perhaps I will go buy the correct ingredients first!
@MsBeachNJ - I'm with @DeePaddy24, whenever I remember, I do them. I have no idea if I'm doing them right, but I figure it doesn't matter since I do them once a month... if they really do make a difference, I'm screwed.
How far along are you? 23 weeks!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Stomach issues and headaches. Rant: Stomach issues again! WTF baby?! Get your shit together and let mama eat! Rave: I went to bed at 9:30 last night and it was amazing. I actually went up at 8:45, but decided to read in bed for a bit. It was the best!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying to keep breakfast down this morning... Ugh.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely H. He's all about organizing our budgets, making sure we contribute to savings, paying off credit card bills... I'm better at spending. I used to be really good at saving money, but somewhere along the line, I realized he was better at managing it and I lost interest and just let him handle it.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: No real rants today, raving about the lovely weather today (although I'm not loving the mud everywhere after 2 straight days of rain). Symptom wise, just stretching/general achiness in my belly area that gets worse as the day goes on.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Waiting for our crib to get here. It was in Arizona this morning (we're on the east coast) and is supposed to be here Monday. It's coming 100% over land instead of flying it or else I think it would be here by tomorrow
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO?
Depends on what you're talking about. He's much better with the investments and overall savings account stuff but I think I'm better with not buying unnecessary stuff.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant- I'm VERY ragey today. I've never felt this angry before in my life without something really provoking me. Yet I'm on the verge of tears and ready to snap. I'm ready to go off on anyone and everyone today and I've NEVER felt that way. My coworker called out today....she called out twice last week. i'm getting really sick of it. I've called out ONCE this entire pregnancy, yet people at work feel my pregnancy is a burden. I almost didn't go to work today because I'm BEYOND emotional and just don't feel like dealing with anyone at all, but one of us has to be here all day. So I can't even leave early. Plus her Dr. came back after a 2 week vacation (I work at a psych hospital) and wants to have a meeting this morning, meaning he wants to discharge people and I don't feel like dealing with my coworkers patients or getting any of their shit together to discharge them. I've taken on so many of her damn patients it's ridiculous.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Hopefully setting up the crib my Mom just got us this weekend.
Questions? I had a really good one, but it totally blanked my mind. I'll have to come back.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely me..I got my H out of debt when we got married and am in charge of our finances. I'm scared what's going to happen if something were to happen to me. He's never paid our bills and would be lost.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I took milk to work so I could have my cap'n crunch for breakfast and it spilled all over my lunchbox and bag Rave: I've been feeling this little guy move so much!! Symptoms: I had terrible heartburn last night and Tums weren't helping at all. Also I've gained 6 lbs since my appointment 3 weeks ago so double what I should've and I still have a week until our next appointment...oops! Also lots more shortness of breath recently
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Growing
Questions? Is it okay to take Rolaids instead of Tums? I hate the chalkiness of Tums and I think Rolaids come in the chewy kind
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely H is better at saving. I don't make big purchases but buying food for lunch is my weakness and it adds up quick!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? So far all we have is a crib that my parent bought and a co sleeper that I bought from a consignment sale. We are getting new carpet installed in a couple of weeks (we need it badly) before we start on the nursery. We also have a few clothes.
Questions? None
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? We are both really good with money. We used to not be when we were first married but we had to change a lot of our spending habits. I'm the bigger spender but I know how to budget my money very well.
2 angel babies to watch over us- bfp 3/16/13, c/p 3/27/13- bfp 6/27/13, c/p confirmed 7/4/13- We will always carry you in our hearts
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Symptoms: Oh man, hip pain last night! I could not stay comfortable even with a pillow between my knees. Ouch.
Rave: Little one is getting stronger--harder kicks more often.
Also got the kitchen counters measured for a new countertop! Drawer slides and door hinges came in this week, too. YAY progress!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Finished the registry except for picking a baby monitor and high chair. Looking at the infant optics, summer, or motorola monitors. Also just considering a webcam tied to our phones via wifi...hmm.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? We make financial decisions together, and are both basically on the same page as far as saving and when to spend. We have a financial guy that helps manage investments, but H handles monthly spending and bills though we bother stay aware of where we are in our budget.
@DeePaddy24 sorry the heart burn has been bad. Hope you get relief soon. @mrsschmity have fun at your girls' night! @Huskerfanz FX the meds work.
How far along are you? 23w5d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: Date night tonight! Woop woop! We never go out, so I'm stoked. We're hitting up Vortex (awesomesauce gourmet burgers, and more importantly the best tater tots) then the comedy club! Symptoms: back pain, sleeping sucks. Same stuff, different day.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Eating a steady diet of tater tots.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? H, hands down. I'm not a spender, but I have zero interest in managing finances. We make decisions together, but he does everything else. He takes some sort of sick pleasure in his spreadsheets.
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
So due to the fact I haven't worked here a year yet, I don't qualify for FMLA. So I've been told I need to apply for a General Leave of Absence. Well long story short, I was told to talk to our director regarding that and that I also might be able to qualify for shared leave(which is when other coworkers donate their time to extend my leave). Asked director, she pretty much told me to refer to our handbook which I've read multiple times about that so I was hoping she was going to tell me something a bit more helpful. So I talk to HR and they tell me the exact same darn thing! What the crap? I'm asking them is there a form I need to fill out to get everything going but everyone keeps referring me to the manual which I've read! I might have to talk to my supervisor but the first time I inquired about my leave she said she wasn't sure and that I would have to talk to HR about that so I'm pretty sure she is going to tell me the exact same thing! Me and another girl were apparently told by our secretary here that the most unpaid leave we'd get is 4 weeks but I have no idea where that came from so I was hoping to get more info on this!. Okay rant over...ugh.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant; I'm 36 today. Boo! Symptoms - everything is already starting to be sore down below. Anytime I get up to walk, it feels like this baby is sitting IN my vagina. ow. Rave: I made that saltine cracker/caramel/chocolate concoction last night before I went to bed so I got to eat it for breakfast today. Woo!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I actually started a pinterest board for his nursery. Predictably we're going with a outdoorsy/hunting theme. H is a long time hunter and there are just way too many adorable accessories with deer antlers on them.
Questions?
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? ME. and in every relationship up until this one - I have been known for being the sh*tty money manager. But H is SO much worse than me. So, I've sucked it up and am the one who does the budgeting. I don't like it, but I am happy that I've become more responsible with money. Now to get H on the same track....
Rant:Have to work on a school related project that has to be done by Tuesday and I have zero interest or motivation. Not even relevant to my research. Blah.
Rave: Loving all these little kicks.
Symptoms: Less hungry than in the past few days. Lower back hurts.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Pregnancy yoga tonight! Really excited for it.
Questions? Any UPPA City Vista mamas? Care to share experience?
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? We are a good team. Generally don't spend money unnecessarily. That being said, he's much better at investments, planning for college, retirement, and all that long-term stuff. He also pays our bills so I feel very lucky to have him.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:Rave: I worked out last night for the first time in a couple of weeks. We just moved so the last two weeks have been a whirlwind of packing and unpacking. It feels good to be getting back to normal. Symptoms: Getting bigger and bigger. I've been feeling baby kick like crazy these past few days, so I think he must have had a growth spurt.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I have one more day left in the week to meet my goal of narrowing down a few options for pediatricians. I've had this goal all week, but I've hardly done any research yet. I guess that will be my evening tonight
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? I think we're pretty equal. We have shared savings/retirement accounts, but we keep separate checking accounts and split the bills so we each pay about the same amount each month. He's generally in charge of keeping track of the monthly bills, and I'm in charge of the day to day things like making sure we have food to eat.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Found out a student at my school has Whooping Cough. They can't disclose who, so no idea if its one of my students. I panicked and called my OB's office and talked a nurse. Fortunately they told me there isn't a risk to the baby if I get it (I am vaccinated though) but its more of a concern for after birth which I knew. Still, this is making me paranoid and a total germaphobe since I teach in a computer lab, a very high touch germy place in a school. Ugh! Rave: Baby girl is moving a lot this morning, even as I type this. Always makes me smile Symptoms: My SI Joint (where you back ties into your pelvis) felt like it wanted to unhinge last night. I was walking around like an old lady. And I'm thinking its RLP in my groin. Going to ask my OB about that on Monday at my checkup.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Working on names still. Also working on a plan for a laundry room platform so we are ready for the onslaught of laundry. We currently have front loaders that are just on the ground, making it hard to bend over and reach in.
Questions? Not today.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? While I am super frugal and good at finding deals, DH is the finance man. He takes care of bills, putting money in savings, our retirement fund, and budgeting. I'm horrible at all of that. Thank goodness he's good at it! He's got us in good shape for baby and our future
@mrsschmity - paint night sounds so exciting! I'm doing that with my cousins/aunts next week! @MsBeachNJ - I am so bad at remembering to do Kegels. I heard squats are good too and someone did squats every time they had to go to the bathroom. I should really start that @nicknshan - sorry for the sick kiddo! Hope they feel better soon! I'm sure the Swedish pancakes will help, they sound delicious @parsonsperson - good luck at your glucose test! @smlmom - yay for having so many raves! Glad you're feeling great today! @Huskerfanz - sorry for the rough night of sleep! Hopefully the RLS and contractions will slow down for you! @mrsb8214 - I think they're okay to take, but maybe check the list your dr has/call the nurse's line? I know I'm allowed to take Zantac which helps so much better than Tums!
How far along are you? 26+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave - got a good night of sleep last night! Rant - there have been nothing but fires at work today. Ugh! It took me an hour just to do this update..
What are you doing to prepare for baby? gestating. Pretty sure I doubled in size again and it's hard to move today
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely DH. He's such a good saver. I have a habit of not thinking about it, but know I need to get better.
How far along are you? 24+5 Holy moly i'm six month pregnant. When did that happen?!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: My only rant/symptom is some serious (what I'm hoping is) RLP. It's only on my left side in the groin area, and it feels almost like a pulled muscle. It's not a sharp pain that goes away but rather something that I kicks up when I cross my legs or get out of bed... And I'm also trying to figure out if exercise makes it better or worse! I'm worried because H and I are planning a slightly active trip in California and I'm looking forward to some biking and hiking before I'm too big!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Getting things sorted out at work, and finished crocheting a blanket and matching hat this week! Blanket attached :-)
Questions? If anyone has insight on this RLP thing, that would be cool.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Oh, definitely the husband. He wanted to know my credit score on our like third date. We were long distance when we were dating and had to fly back and forth, so he had a spreadsheet for all of our flights to make sure we were sharing the costs fairly, determined by a ratio based on our income. So.... yeah. That's just one example.
@kwife15 I live in NYC and eye all the moms and nannies with their strollers and I'm not exaggerating when I say that 90% of them have the Uppababy Vista. I've approached some on the street (I'm that lady now) and talked to my friends and the pros are the huge basket underneath, nice big wheels, stands when it folds, and that it can be converted to a double stroller in several configurations, including with the bassinet and/or a car seat, so folks like it because it can grow with their fam. The cons seem to be its heavy AF, and some ppl don't love the double configuration. I personally am going with the Uppababy Cruz because it still has a pretty big basket, but is a little more compact and much lighter. Also I don't want/need the bassinet that the Vista comes with it makes the price of the Vista a little silly, especially since it's creating extra clutter! I also like how easy the Uppababy adapts for several carseats, and if you get the Mesa then you don't need an adapter. I hope that's remotely helpful.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Had my first really bad case of heartburn yesterday. I know I shouldn't complain because lots of you have had it the entire way through but I was so sick during first trimester that I really thought I had paid my dues. Midwife appt today!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gestating, working, registry.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? I definitely do most of the work, but my husband would accuse me of being a control freak. @Diesel615 You described same situation -- I came into the relationship with a lot of money saved, he had a lot of debt. I manage all the money mostly although I like to I think he has learned things over the years.
@crdo, my dad, who is a network administrator for the state of Ohio, told me not to get a video monitor that streams over wifi for phones/tablets. He says they are easy for people to hack. He sent me an article on it once, I can try to find it if you want me to.
@diesel615 I'm soory your coworker calls out all the time. I think i remember you complaining about her before.
@msbeachnj, when I was taking Bradley classes last pregnancy, the leader said that if you can stop your per mid-flow, you are doing a keegal correctly. She also said to do them daily and to slowly build up form tighten/release to tighten/hold/release for 5 or 10 counts. I have an alarm set on my phone to remind me to do them every night around 9. I still don't always do them, but I try.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: rant: I really want Chick-fil-a for breakfast, and don't know when I will be able to get it. Hopefully Saturday. Rave: my local CD store is having a huge clearance event starting today and hubby said I could go, as long as I don't buy anything that I wasn't already planning to buy. And, I ate Girl Scout cookies for breakfast. Symptoms: nothing too bad today so far.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Going to the sale at the CD store.
Questions? Is anyone still sleeping on their back? I'm usually a stomach sleeper but I've woken up several times on my back. And when I sleep on my left, my whole arm goes numb--I thought that was the good side to sleep on.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely H, at least when it comes to paying bills. Before we got married I would pay my student loans late all the time because I would forget to pay them. Neither of us are big spenders though.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: Man, I can feel this kid MOVE now. Like, I can feel "kicks" in multiple places at the same time and him rolling around. It's so crazy. I tried to catch it on tape last night but of course as soon as I brought out the camera he stopped. Rant: It's not Friday.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? I handle all of our bills. H isn't bad with money. He'd be fine on his own. He just can't handle having a couple hundred extra dollars. He needs to spend it, usually on something dumb, while I am fine foregoing unnecessary expenses to build our savings account. We're trying to buy a house within the next few years and save for maternity leave so we've been in "save mode" and it's killing him. We actually just finally merged our checking accounts together so we'll see how that goes.
Happy Birthday @CourtJack! Welcome to the "pushing-forty" zone!!
@annaf2011 You are so smart to look for a pediatrician in advance! We had to pick one at the hospital- and we got the BEST pediatric group based on referral but it could have gone very different!
@kbequette08 What you are experiencing is not uncommon for pregnant women in the work place! You have to be your own best advocate, because no one but you is looking out for you- keep demanding information from you employer! Even if you do not qualify for protection under the FMLA, you are protected under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act- and you cannot be treated any different than a non-pregnant employee would be under similar conditions. How far along are you? 23+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: RAVE::::: I love Diclegis and I only give it credit when I don't take it and start throwing up from morning sickness. Today I am ms free and want to acknowledge Diclegis. Thank you Diclegis. (My first pregnancy I had ms the entire time and then it continued for the first year after I gave birth, until my cycle returned.)
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I have just taken inventory of the baby/newborn clothes we have on hand from my first pregnancy and I think we have everything we will need! I let go of a lot of stuff but kept allllllll my favorite little pieces!
Questions? Any one on their 2nd or 3rd pregnancy want to talk about weight gain patterns? I am wondering if I should expect to gain about the same as last time? I went from 105lbs to 164lbs with my 2014 pregnancy. My OB DGAF about weight gain and is the most supportive doctor I have ever met (aside from my SO) and I get no talk about my weight. What have you experienced?
GTKY: We keep separate finances but I know he's ASTRONOMICALLY better with his than I am with mine.
@arteduc8 Is the student with Whooping Cough still coming to
school?? You’d think they could make an exception for a pregnant teacher and at
least tell you if it is a student in your class if not exactly which student.
How far along are you? 25w3d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:Rant: I tell H every time the baby is moving so that if he wants to feel he can, but he never wants to. This morning, he put his hands on my belly and said "Why does baby never move when I touch your belly?" I wanted to smack him. Rave: I'm halfway done with my shower thank you cards Symptoms: Still ridiculous back/sciatica pain to the point where I can't really walk normally. My FIL is an OB and I'm tempted to shoot him a quick text and ask if there's anything I can do. I don't have another appointment until March 15th.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I finished setting up our swing yesterday! It is super cool and does so much stuff. I'm excited to use it and praying the baby actually likes it. Otherwise, I got a few gift cards for my shower that I might go ahead and start shopping online with, like Baby Gap. I'm hoarding my BRU gift cards so I can use them to help finish out my registry closer to when baby comes. Most of the guests at my shower didn't use my registry so there's still a ton of stuff that I would consider essential that I need to get.
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? We both gave up long ago on creating a budget and sticking to it. H is better with big picture (i.e. if I get a bonus we should pay off these credit cards to avoid interest), but he's much more of an impulse shopper than me. Thats part of why its so hard to christmas/birthday shop for him, he just buys whatever he wants right away. I'm better with saving money on the things we usually buy, like using coupons and rebates and getting things on really good sales. Basically, neither of us will ever be able to save money until our student loans are paid off. Ugh.
@palisson I gained about 30+ pounds in my first pregnancy (started at 140 and ended at about 175). This pregnancy though I've gained probably one pound. I started at 175 and have tried to stay at this weight and my doctor doesn't seem very concerned about it. He said that its normal to gain anywhere between 10 to 40 pounds and to still be healthy.

@amidavey06, if you are planning on painting, I would do that before you put down the new carpet. You won't have to be so careful with pairing if you are going to rip up the carpet.
Thank you for sharing! Ohkay I'm seriously not going to worry about weight. I'm up 20lbs and I look like the cutest little dumpling and I deserve a plump little healthy baby boy and all the good eats I can scarf!
Anyone else watch ATHF? All I hear all day long is MC Pee Pants singing "I Want Candy" because I am MC Pee Pants and I DO want candy.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Woke up to pee 4x last night.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Nothing really to rant about today.

Rants: the fact my husband travels all the time is really hard when 98% of the time that means I get stuck calling in sick when my kid has a fever.
Rave: I ate Swedish pancakes for breakfast.
Symptoms: RLP and heartburn.
I I am eating lots. I think I am going through a growth spurt.
No questions.
Money GTKY: I am better at not spending, but my husband takes care of everything financial. So I can't really complain about the stupid shit he buys.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
RAVE: I had no indigestion, heartburn, or nausea last night.

Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@MsBeachNJ - I'm with @DeePaddy24, whenever I remember, I do them. I have no idea if I'm doing them right, but I figure it doesn't matter since I do them once a month... if they really do make a difference, I'm screwed.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
No real rants today, raving about the lovely weather today (although I'm not loving the mud everywhere after 2 straight days of rain).
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I took milk to work so I could have my cap'n crunch for breakfast and it spilled all over my lunchbox and bag
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I have 100 days left! Ahh!!!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Symptoms: Oh man, hip pain last night!
@mrsschmity have fun at your girls' night!
@Huskerfanz FX the meds work.
Can I add a rant into mine again?

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: I worked out last night for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Found out a student at my school has Whooping Cough.
Always makes me smile
Symptoms: My SI Joint (where you back ties into your pelvis) felt like it wanted to unhinge last night.
@MsBeachNJ - I am so bad at remembering to do Kegels. I heard squats are good too and someone did squats every time they had to go to the bathroom. I should really start that
@nicknshan - sorry for the sick kiddo! Hope they feel better soon! I'm sure the Swedish pancakes will help, they sound delicious
@parsonsperson - good luck at your glucose test!
@smlmom - yay for having so many raves! Glad you're feeling great today!
@Huskerfanz - sorry for the rough night of sleep! Hopefully the RLS and contractions will slow down for you!

What are you doing to prepare for baby? gestating. Pretty sure I doubled in size again and it's hard to move today
GTKY: Who is better with money and finances, you or your SO? Definitely DH. He's such a good saver. I have a habit of not thinking about it, but know I need to get better.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
My only rant/symptom is some serious (what I'm hoping is) RLP.
ETA:
Happy Birthday @CourtJack !
@CourtJack Happy Birthday!!!!
@huskerfanz, keep those babies cooking.

Rave: my local CD store is having a huge clearance event starting today and hubby said I could go, as long as I don't buy anything that I wasn't already planning to buy. And, I ate Girl Scout cookies for breakfast.

@Kballew10 930 is my normal bed time now – if I make it past 10, its an absolute miracle. It made new years eve really really difficult.
@CourtJack Happy birthday!!
@arteduc8 Is the student with Whooping Cough still coming to school?? You’d think they could make an exception for a pregnant teacher and at least tell you if it is a student in your class if not exactly which student.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I tell H every time the baby is moving so that if he wants to feel he can, but he never wants to.
Ugh.
