Early teething?

I think my DD is teething! She's been chewing on her hands and drooling for a few days and I haven't thought much about it. Today, I put my finger in her mouth for her to suck on and sure enough, I can feel and see the teeth coming in. Anyone else have experience with early teething? I have a dr appointment on Friday so I will ask the pediatrician then.

Re: Early teething?

  • DS is two and he had his first tooth by three months. DD is almost three months and has just started sucking in her hands non stop. It's too early for most babies to hold/use teethers, so we used infant Tylenol. I know that not everyone will agree with medication, but it was a life saver with DS. Good luck!

  • I believe there was another thread on this a while back. It might have more ideas for you. DS didn't get his first teeth in until 6 months but started teething around 2 months. We gave him chilled pacifiers a lot and that seemed to help until we could do more.
  • Leo is drooling like crazy and has been putting his hands in his mouth more often. He doesn't seem to be in pain though so I'm not worried about it. I think he just thinks it's cool that he can control his hands and make spit bubbles.

  • Yes my girl is doing the hand sucking and drooling but I don't feel or see anything, I think it's just milestones as well as pp
