I posted a couple of weeks ago about bleeding/spotting. My RE's office kept saying it's normal, common in IVF patients, side effect of Progesterone, etc. My betas were perfect so I stopped worrying about it [too much] until Thursday.
The bleeding picked up and I had cramping that lasted maybe 15 minutes. I passed a couple of clots (not huge) and was sure I was miscarrying. I went to the RE Friday morning (5 weeks 5 days) and they were able to see the gestational sac, yolk sac, baby and heartbeat. Baby was measuring perfectly and the heartbeat was 91 bpm. The RE said things couldn't look any better and it was possible I lost a twin (we had transferred two embryos). Otherwise he couldn't find anything that was causing the bleeding. On Saturday I had an episode similar to the one I had on Thursday night. 15 minutes of cramping, two clots then just bleeding.
The bleeding has been similar to a period and every time I think it's finally stopping, it starts up again. I've had no other cramping or clots and I have an appointment tomorrow for another u/s (seeing a different doctor). I've already accepted the fact that things may not be okay with this pregnancy, but still praying that they are.
So, if you pray, please pray for a good appointment tomorrow. If not, please just send whatever positive vibes you can.
Update: The RE confirmed that I miscarried - most likely on Saturday. Sincerely wishing the rest of you ladies happy and healthy pregnancies.
