2 weeks until next appt, probably just a quick Doppler check! No major milestones...except this definite bump is pretty cool.

My rant is not pregnancy related, but my car decided it wanted to die forever on the highway Friday morning on my way to work. Now I have to go find a new car. The kicker is that this JUST happened to my husband's car last month so we JUST bought a car. We've both been driving the same cars since high school, so they were on their last legs, but still! Two cars in two months!!!! Agh! I did thoroughly enjoy this weekend though as we had some rare 70 degree weather in February in Indiana. It was the best. As far as symptoms go I've been feeling pretty good. Bump is getting bigger and I think I've been having Braxton Hicks the last two weeks, but they're more weird feeling than painful so no big deal.
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show?
Doctor Who!!!! I've watched all the seasons on Netflix 3 times and am impatiently waiting for the next one to get added. Close runners up are Merlin, Call the Midwife, and Parks and Rec.
Status: 18 weeks and 2 days
What's next: A/S is in two weeks! Right now we're team green but I may not be able to help myself once we are actually in the room.
Rants/Raves: Sometimes the lack of control we have over all of this gets to me. I try to stay positive, focus on being healthy and doing the right things for my baby and myself. And I know there are no guarantees. But then I find out that a distant relation's baby was born addicted to drugs and my heart is broken. I found out about her pregnancy the day before I found out about my last loss and I am struggling to make sense of it all. I am worried sick for that poor baby and it makes me so angry that things like this happen. I spend so much time worrying and trying to be as careful as possible and the fact that people do things that knowingly put their children in harm's way upsets me so much.
GTKY: I have soooooo many favorites! But probably Bob's Burgers. DH and I watch it over and over and quote it to each other constantly!
What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: A/S on Wednesday. Therapy tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: this week sucks. I'm really nervous about the scan on Wednesday plus the weather may be terrible that day, and then my mom is having surgery on Friday which is nerve wracking.

What's next/ appointments, milestones, etc: Next appointment is in two weeks.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: This last week he has started moving a lot which I find helps with feeling anxious. Every time I start to stress I drink a giant glass of juice, lie down and wait for the baby gymnastics to start. I think he loves orange juice.
GTKY: All time favourite is probably Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm not a teen anymore but I still rewatch it every year

Status: 18 weeks today!
what's next? It's a big week baby wise! Thanks to the wonderful advices from @BostonBaby1 will be meeting a new MFM on Wednesday to switch hospital! I really hope it works out because this hospital have labor and delivery ways that are more what we are looking for! Technically I have my anatomy scan Friday at my old hospital but that will probably change unless the new doctor doesn't mind having the US done at another facility. Not putting my hopes too high to see baby this week! But it's ok because with the ER scan 2 weeks ago we saw baby for a while and all was good at that point.
R/R/S/: major Rave: I have been feeling flutters for the past 2 weeks but since Thursday I clearly feel poking! DH felt it for the first time last night and he was really excited (he was getting frustrated that he couldn't feel anything) sweet food or ice cold water seems to do the trick. (Looks like someone doesn't like a cold shower!) Rants: major ligament pain, I'm starting to get incomfortable at night, but it's part of the game!
GTKY: huge fan of Friends and the Office (2 all time favorite)
Status Update: 18+1
What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: Had a regular OB check-in this morning (everything was great). A/S 2 weeks from tomorrow. I'm excited, but feeling really anxious given how many threads/posts about people finding out concerns at their scans. It reminds me of the feeling I got during the 1st tri when people were posting goodbyes.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Started to feel definite movement the last couple days, more wiggles than kicks. The doctor this morning was surprised, but when she went to use the Doppler commented that she could feel a kick. Now I'm terrified that I have giant baby and have GD lol. DH is really excited about decorating the nursery right now which is so cute and makes me so happy.
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? Criminal Minds. But I also love reality TV (Survivor, Real Housewives, Kardashians).

Status Update: 19 weeks 2 days
What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: My next apt is the anatomy scan on 3/1. I am so excited to see baby again! At my last apt they couldn't find the heartbeat on the Doppler and I almost had a heart attack ... hoping this next time they find it right away. I cant handle another freak out like that.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I think I am starting to feel movement the last couple days. Hoping it will get more intense. Once I can feel movement I feel like my stress level will drop a lot .. or at least I hope so! Oh and I have had really bad pelvic bone pain. It feels bruised I am guessing this is things shifting, but I plan to ask my dr about it.
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? Friends is always good ... but I have been binge watching Fixer Upper lately!

@dani1124 I love Fixer Upper! In my head I think I can decorate like Joanna (ha) and DH and I have the same witty banter as her and Chip.

R/R/S: RLP... Why don't you go away when i'm
not moving? Much better today but Saturday night was so bad. Still throwing up regularly at night. Still not feeling baby. Thinking I might be getting some head butts to my cervix but of course, I have completely lost all rational leading up to my appointment. Hopefully I can add a rave tomorrow.
GTKY: Currently Downton Abbey but since it is the last season, that will likely change.

Next appt isn't for a few weeks, just had the a/s last week.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
RLP, and sometimes I get this weird tight feeling in my belly but it doesn't hurt it just feels strange, my back hurts like crazy, and sleeping is incredibly difficult. I had another bit of spotting a few days ago but it stopped right away and hasn't come back and there was no cramping or anything so I think my cervix must just be hyper sensitive. I'm trying to stay positive. I do think I've been feeling more movement the last few days which really helps the anxiety, except when I just tell myself I'm crazy, but I don't think I am...other than that I am just practicing my meditation and trying to do whatever I need to do to stay sane while simultaneously getting prepared. I just keep reminding myself that I just saw my baby boy a few days ago and he was perfectly fine.

What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.:
A/S is on 3/7 so still a couple weeks away. We did find out gender at last appointment, very clearly a little girl so we are excited about that! Just happy to almost have less weeks ahead of me than more weeks to go!
Rants/Raves/Syptoms: Still feeling what I believe to be movements but I still second guess myself. Pelvic pressure and achiness every now and then, some RLP going on, and still waiting for my bump to look less chubby and more bumpy!
Also, I'm putting in my notice with work today. DH and I have been talking about it for a while and deciding when the right time would be. I'm a nanny to a special needs boy who I have to carry around and it's just becoming too much on my body. And my boss has been very un-sympathic with my pregnancy and it's tough. I'm extremely unhappy there since being pregnant and the stress that has brought on hasn't been good for me (and probably baby) at all. We were planning on doing it closer to 28 weeks but we are doing it two months earlier due to the near depression it's causing me and DH just got a huge promotion so we don't need that extra income anymore. I hate giving notices though so I am nervous!
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? hmmmm.... I am not sure I have a "favorite" but I always enjoy the bachelor/bachelorette drama when it's on! And I love Shark Tank!

WUN: Not much since I had an appointment last week (it went well, just a 10min appointment really, got to hear the heartbeat again!). The main thing that is up is that we may have started nesting - Husband decided we would start decluttering. We just did clothes so far, but that was pretty satisfying...
RRS: I will rave about prenatal yoga, which kicked my butt last Saturday... It was really good though I still feel sore, and it was still definitely gentle which is good because I have no strength/endurance... I did feel like I should be careful because I can overstretch easily right now. Nothing important to rant about this week, symptoms are pretty manageable which I feel lucky about. Definitely feeling a few pokes here and there which is great! I just want more of them more often!
GTKY: I laughed at the "if any" specification given that I love TV so much... Downton Abbey is definitely one my favorites, even managed to make me cry last night (I don't cry that often with TV...). Otherwise in the past I've had as favorites Parenthood, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, Mad Men.... alright I'll stop there!

What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: Anatomy scan TOMORROW. Nervous, worried, and scared. However, I'm trying to keep my emotions in check and remind myself that we heard the baby at the OB's office last week. I'm very thankful to be pregnant and to be carrying this baby.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I need to figure out an exercise routine. The round ligament pain and the back pain are FOR REAL!!!!!! I also have terrible sciatic nerve pain that makes me walk funny at times. And as of yesterday, I cannot stop crying. Too many feels!!!!!!
GTKY: I watch the WORST tv ever, it's embarrassing. I watch all the Real Housewives franchises (Atl is my favorite), Pump Rules (awful), the bachelor, and anything by Shonda Rhimes - I don't discriminate.

Status Update: 20+3
What's Next? Successful anatomy scan today! Thanks for all the well-wishes. Baby was moving around a lot and not very cooperative, but all her pieces were in order. She is in the 71st percentile for size and about 14oz. Cervix and placenta looked good, too! I return in 2.5 weeks for a thyroid check (mine has been a little out of whack).
Rants/Raves/Syptoms: I am finally feeling some movement! Feeling pretty good. Diet has been horrible the last few days.
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? Right now, hubby and I are watching the ENTIRE X-files, culminating in watching the most recent mini-series. We're in season 5 at the moment. I love the Walking Dead, the Wire, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica. My guilty pleasures are the Good Wife and Dance Moms.

What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: next check is Thursday. Scheduled OB appointment on the 1st. Still praying for a miracle!!!!

My Ass is numb from the position I have been stuck in. Could not get delivery on a new power recliner till Wednesday! So annoying! And it sucks not being able to do anything! Sorry I needed to vent a little!

What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: next appointment is on 3/11 and so is a/s
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: having a lot of new aches and pains this week. I had a lot of abdominal achiness over the weekend. My breasts are SO sore and my nipples randomly get super hard and hurt like hell. Even more annoying, I just ordered a bunch of new bras and, while they all fit when I tried them on, one felt too tight today.
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? Friends is my all time favorite and I'm actually rewatching it right now. I've finally gotten to the part where Rachel is pregnant which is fun to watch while I'm pregnant
ETA - I felt the baby tonight!

@MamaBish I really hope therapy goes well and you don't get a snowstorm effing up your A/S. I freaked out when mine got cancelled but they were able to fit me in earlier in the day. Maybe try bumping up the time if it looks like it will be bad?

What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: nothing big going on, just regular 24 wk appt on March 18
Rants/Raves/Syptoms: @fleurdelakeview omg the boobs! I started out at 36DD and just this past weekend had to buy Gs. I am so uncomfortable because of my boobs. My belly is just fine. This is the one aspect I really have a hard time with and makes me feel awful.
GTKY: I love Parks & Rec
What's Next? I had a doctor appointment last Friday....all of about 10 minutes long. She said everything on the A/S US looked great! SO reassuring to hear. I had no clue how important that ultrasound was, until I started reading what could be found. I thought it was just a typical US to get a more current pic of baby. So I guess that's the last scan for me until the end.....scary, but a bit of a relief since each time I'm so afraid of what would be seen.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: HEARTBURN!!! That came out of nowhere. And it's terrible! Ugh! I too feel the random belly button stretching!
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? Oh man, I have so many! Can't miss The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Blacklist, Scandal and we watch just about all of the shows on Showtime - Homeland, Ray Donovan, Shameless, etc.
What's Next: Regular midwife appointment next week which is the follow up to my A/S
R/R/S: Not much here other than I feel you ladies on the boob issue. I am a G regularly and my bras are getting pretty snug. I'm a hard to fit band size of 30 although I can usually make a 32 work and that is easier to find. I'm getting a reduction once this LO is done breastfeeding and my boobs dry up and I am looking forward to that a LOT.
GTKY: There isn't any one show I can't miss, I just can't get that into TV but I like scandal and the bachelor. I also liked breaking bad and mad men when they were on.

Status Update: 17w + 4d
What's Next? Appointments, milestones, etc.: We don't have another appointment until the A/S on March 10. It seems so far away! We did have an appointment on Friday and my boyfriend FINALLY met my OBGYN. We got a good heartbeat which took away some of my worries. We have officially made it past where we were in our last pregnancy! Woohoo! I'm so happy. And, literally tearing up right now. So happy!
Rants/Raves/Syptoms: Symptoms aren't too bad which sometimes freaks me out. But, I do have a lot of lower back/butt pain which is annoying whenever it shoots through my back. I can deal with it if I get a healthy baby in 23 weeks!
Also, my future mother-in-law rocks! We just told her on Saturday (the bf thought it would break her heart if we had another loss). She is so excited! She offered to babysit on her day off work. My mom will watch our little girl 2 days a week and we will have a nanny 2 days a week! But, this morning I got a text from my future mother-in-law asking if I wanted her to come over on Friday to clean our place because I'm probably too tired to do it. I hate cleaning so I'm taking her up on the offer!
GTKY: What (if any) is your favorite TV show? I have way too many! Right now I love New Girl and The Mindy Project. Those are really the only current shows I watch consistently.

@megstervt pregnancy dreams can be crazy vivid. I'm glad that you found the heartbeat on the Doppler and as difficult as it can be, try to reminder self that was only a dream and immerse yourself in the rest of the day. (((hugs)))

@Kellyj103 I hugged my dog so hard. He's super mellow and used to me being snuggly with him (I cry into his fur all the time). Me hugging and crying on him this morning probably felt totally normal.
