  • @sassysd7 Do you think it was something you ate that gave you the pain? If so, I'd say avoid that food like the plague!

@wifeinraleigh28 Lol about sleeping harder. I usually get up 3-5 times in the middle of the night to pee and the last two nights I've gotten up once! I hope soon you'll feel that it worked. Kudos to you for choosing to not poas early. It is hard in this journey, especially when you want it as badly as we infertiles do!

@Cmartin6706 Congratulations! I'm gonna be hoping/sending out good vibes on Monday for you guys that your beta is positive too!

    @wenikilina Congratulations!

AFM - Well, I'm talking to emby 1 and emby 2 more today than yesterday. I think it is a sign that I'm losing my mind. I've also been rubbing on my belly telling them how much mommy loves them. Definitely losing my mind! Of course I'm hypersensitive to every little thing I feel in tummy. Grr! I still have 8 days until beta. Next Friday cannot come soon enough!

I really hope that everyone on this thread gets their BFP!

Hugs and kisses from California to wherever you are!!

  • I am completely overwhelmed and excited by all the BFPs here already!!! The positivity of this group is amazing!! I'm so thrilled for you all. Hoping to see some good betas here next week!!

I've still got 8 days before I can POAS. Hoping it comes to that and AF doesn't arrive before test day (like with IUI #1).

  • @Cmartin6706 @wenikilina thank you both and congrats to you both as well! Super exciting times ahead!!

I did get a super super light spotting after my pregnancy test so I texted my doctor and he said very normal but asked me to increase my estrace by 2mg so that's reassuring. Here's keeping FX for everyone as we continue with testing!!

  • I decided to poas this morning even though I'm only 3dp5dt. It should have been positive as I had an injection of 5,000 units of HCG on Tuesday evening, but it was a BFN. I now definitely don't trust the super super cheap tests I bought. I'm still talking to and rubbing on my belly constantly, and feeling every little thing that is going on in there. Just one week left now!

  • @wifeinraleigh28 I currently live in LA, about 5 miles southwest of downtown.

So I just got the call from my clinic with my 5dp5dt results! On Tuesday my estrogen was 389, today it was 342. My progesterone on Tuesday was 21, today it was 28. I'm not quite sure what those results mean, but I know they are good enough to keep me on my same medication. I'm really feeling like this is the one. Of course if it isn't, that means I'll be a wreck emotionally.

So much luck to those testing tomorrow!!! I'm wishing nothing but the best!

  • Hello everyone! Thank you for the well wishes and the good lucks! I believe I have a mild form of OHSS which can increase with pregnancy so tomorrow is not only beta but I am also getting an ultrasound to check to see if my abdomen is full of fluid. This weekend I went home but had to lay around and didn't get to really enjoy it. Everything hurts, my tummy is tight, and it takes me hours to walk anywhere lol. I will keep everyone updated tomorrow!

@AandDM2014 Congrats on the numbers and no med change! That is always good! I talked to my tummy the whole time! I thought I was crazy too!

@pugmama915 Congrats! That is so very exciting! I can't wait to hear your results on Wednesday!

@Cmartin6706 Good luck tomorrow! I know you will hear amazing numbers! Congrats to you and your wife!

@wenikilina those betas are amazing! Congrats! I can't wait to hear about the ultrasound results! Now there is another wait lol.

Beta 2 on Wednesday and the first ultrasound the following Wednesday. We'll find out how many implanted then.

  • Sorry for not responding....I've been a little MIA....keeping really busy this last week....I've broke down and took HPT yesterday morning....It was negative....so been pretty bummed...hoping it was just too soon to detect...I'll retest this weekend if AF doesn't come yet...how is everyone else doing??
  • @Lmart85 I'd say it is definitely too early to test! I have you down as Saturday being two weeks after your IUI. It is way too early to test for a positive from an IUI.

AFM - I am still not going to poas. It brings me too much anxiety, especially since when my mom was pregnant she could never turn a home test positive. True, that was in the 80s, and technology has improved since then, but still.   We had our first "incident" yesterday. While doing the PIO shot DH has to pull back the plunger to make sure he hasn't hit a blood vessel. It has never happened before, until yesterday. I think it shocked him more than anything else. He freaked out a bit and was like "what do I do?!??!" LOL! It bled a bit, but wasn't too bad. Had to change the needle and go again. Went perfectly the second time. Hoping that doesn't happen again!

  • @AandDM2014 - I'm with you on holding off on POAS.  It makes me anxious too.  I just dread the whole thing... setting the stick aside and nervously watching to see if that second line forms (which has never happened for me).  Really sorry about the shot!  Yikes!  Hopefully that won't happen again.  If you don't mind me asking though, what is PIO?  I keep seeing people talk about that one!

@LMart85 - How many dpiui are you?  Hopefully it's just too early!!

  • @wifeinraleigh28 I am especially dreading it right now because I haven't felt anything all day in my tummy. I hope they're just resting today! It stands for progesterone in oil. It's the progesterone shot that usually gets prescribed for IVF.
