I guess I'll start. My friend hosted a sleepover since our DH's went away for a few days and it was a good time BUT of course my friends were trying to be helpful and started commenting on "just let it happen", "stop stressing", "stop trying" etc etc etc and all I wanted to do was scream. I get it but hello....science! If I stop "trying" then how will I know if I was in the right timeframe? It's not like we're only having sex during our FW. I honestly think I may have missed our 1st month because we were being laid back and not tracking anything then come to find out I O earlier than I thought I did.

Anyway, I get it - they're just being friends and trying to help get the edge off but instead just say something like that sucks and I hope it happens soon.

I wish I had never mentioned to them we were trying but I was getting tired of being asked when we were going to try for another one again <sigh>. #cantwin

PS - they don't even knowing I'm temping and doing OPK's

H's starter went out on his car this weekend. The place that's fixing it estimated $500 to fix it...which is a lot but not outrageous, except that my fertility treatments this month are $500...its just a lot of unexpected and unplanned money out of our pockets and I hate that

I didn't get paid last week. I work at a place that still does paper checks and the owners mail them from their house 3 hours away. We usually get paid on Thursday but since Monday was a holiday it got pushed back a day, and we expected and planned for that. Except they didn't show up Friday. Or Saturday. I'm fucking pissed. I have my RE appointment in like an hour and I'm having to pull money from savings to pay for it. I already have so much anxiety about the appointment and with this on top I'm sure my blood pressure is going to be through the roof.

ETA: I'm the manager, so if they don't come in the mail today that pretty much guarantees that they're lost and I'm going to have to go to the bank after my appointment and make money orders for all my employees. Ugh.

@TrulyBlessed22 YES, this. What is up with that?! That was as well my MBF.

One of my really good friends came over yesterday with her 2 year old, and she's also 3 months pregnant. She keeps telling me through this process that I just need to relax, and it'll happen. She thinks it's all "in my head" that there may be a problem with our fertility. I never said for sure that I thought we may be having issues conceiving, but I've only had 3 AF's in the past 5 months! Not to mention I'm on CD60! So yes, that is an issue. She thinks it's a little overboard that I am temping/charting, using OPK's and have joined TB. But you're exactly right, science!!

@ShallowSeas I'm sorry to hear about your money woes! Things always pile up at the worst times right?! I hope you stumble upon $500 somehow!

@CajunSnowWhite89 I don't blame you for being upset about the missing check! I absolutely hate taking money out of savings, even if I know I have money to replace it with in the near future. I hope it shows today and you don't have to write money orders out for everyone!

@WinchesterGirl UGH bummer. I'm sorry about CD1.

@mrsdaddario - That's exactly why I didn't even tell them about temping, OPKs and the rest because then they really would have had more to say. From now on I'm just no longer mentioning it until one day I'm pregnant and am comfortable enough in my weeks in to share the news. Anyway, sending you a hug from someone who understands

My bitchfest is about the idiocy of some people on Real Answers.
You don't implant until 14 DPO? Are you fucking serious? Do you know nothing about how your reproductive system freaking works?

Holy balls, everyone needs to have a class on reproduction in high school, and it needs to include what happens when you ovulate and what happens if the egg is and isn't fertilized.

Aside from that, my BF is also my husband. I called after class and told him I would be going for a work out before coming home, and he got all like childishly depressed and was like "I want to spend time with you before going to get the oil changed in the truck". So I told him, fine, but you're either dropping me off at the gym or coming with me to work out.
I get home, and what's he been doing? Sleeping. He got 9.5 hours of sleep last night. I got 5. He got 8 hours of sleep the night before. I got 4. And he's the one freaking sleeping.

Oooo I have tons. I wrecked my car the other day so there's that... Have a rental. And all of my tax check will go to my deductible and the ticket.. I haven't ovulated yet and I'm about a week too late so I'm pretty sure this is a Anovulatory month which sets me off on a whole different path. FF says I might have already because I had a one day patch of EWCM but neg OPK. Get it together body.... My FIL is in the icu and not doing well.. And he comes out of sedation and is really nasty to us (me, his son and wife) because HE messed himself up so badly that he is required to be on a breathing tube because of swelling he caused. Why are we to blame? Ugh... And I have another baby shower this week. But at least it's at a winery so I can drink my face off. I need it.

So the other night, I open them up. I'll let you judge for yourself, but other than post-partum (which is exactly what I'm going to save them for), who the hell would need these?!?!

@mrsdaddario I'm sorry you have to hear insensitive comments like that from your friend. I have a close friend who is 7 months pregnant right now, and everytime I see her she says comments like "atleast you don't have to look fat in your clothes" or "just think positive thoughts and it will happen". I know she is genuinely coming from a good place and means well, but it still drives me insane.

My MBF is the stinging nettle I stepped in yesterday. My entire right foot feels like a bean bag!

Wow all of that does really suck. But a winery baby shower sounds amazing!

I think the thing I appreciate most about that pad is the fact that it has wings, as if something that size is going to move *anywhere*

But hey, maybe it'd be great for attaching to a Swiffer WetJet. It's the right size and all

@CajunSnowWhite89 I'm always worried about H's checks each week. Sometimes its there, sometimes its not. Either way it sucks.

@WinchesterGirl Maybe you could sneak in a mani/pedi, or whatever you do to spoil yourself.

@atcwag I didn't use anything that big even in the hospital PP. That is HUGE!

My MBF is that H lost my laptop cord. I take my work laptop home because I can do some grades over the weekend or plan for next week. So last night H needed that outlet and unplugged my laptop. Not a huge deal in itself. Then he put my cord 'somewhere where it can't get lost' then promptly forgot/lost it. So I have no laptop today during finals week.

No, luckily our cars are already paid off, so no car payments which is nice. I'm grateful that we have the money to fix it, but $500 unexpected, plus $500 for my fertility treatment and the money we just spent paying for my HSG test puts a decent dent in our savings that we're trying to build for other fertility/baby/house related things. It makes me a little sick to my stomach but that's what the money in our savings is for so I'm trying to remind myself that.

I have two MBFs today. First of all, my body. WTF. It looks like I'm on the same roller coaster that I rode all last cycle, and I'm just completely sick of it. I've been off the pill for almost four months, and I basically show no signs of ovulating. I've decided to take a break from temping next month, since we'll be in Italy for a good chunk of the cycle. And then when we get back, if I haven't obviously ovulated, I'm going to the f-ing doctor. I'm so over this crap.

My other BF is my interim principal. Our principal left in scandal at the beginning of this year, and we have a freaking dictator in his place. He sends us these "weekly updates" every Monday morning at like 5am, so every single week, I wake up to a litany of complaints and admonitions for things we're all doing wrong. Never in all my years of teaching have I been threatened with a "written warning" or a "letter" in my file - this guy doles them out like they're chex mix. And for the most insane things, at that. Like not having grades updated in our online system. I'm over it, yo.

Mine seems so silly compared to these others, but I'll put it anyway. I have shoulder problems. Like I've had two shoulder surgeries since I was 17 problems. It's been bothering me for a little over a week again, and last night I finally bitched at H about could he please help with taking out the trash and recycling this week because it's difficult for me to do when my shoulder is hurting so much. So, he took everything outside today, but then didn't take the cans to the street. So guess who had to rush and do that first thing this morning?! *grumble*

My MBF is the girl taking my blood this morning (for a normal dr. appt) who said "Do you have kids?" When I responded no, she went on a tirade about how lucky I was and how annoying her kids are.... NO NO NO! It took everything inside me not to pull the needle out of my arm and punch her. Why do people say things like that? I haven't been TTC for as long as some people, but nobody knows anyone else's story!
And just for the icing on the BF, it's CD1...

Creepy internet hugs to all of you, sorry for all of the crap you're all dealing with

Oh Lord, that would drive me crazy. You have to wonder if this will cause a mass exodus at the end of the school year. I hope the rest of the semester goes fast so you can get this guy out of there. Maybe he's overdoing the hard-ass routine so that things stay in order until a permanent replacement can be found? I hope so.

The whole suits thin sucks. I'm sorry you have to go through it.

MBF -- I had bronchitis 3 weeks ago and even though I recovered from it 2 weeks ago, I still have all this congestion and with the TTC, don't really want to take any allergy medicine for it. The other night I was asleep and started having this really vivid sex dream with typical labored breathing sex sounds and then suddenly woke up and realized that the sound I was hearing was MY NOSE, struggling to get air. It was so loud that I had to hold my breath for a second just to be sure I wasn't hearing my neighbors having sex or something.

MBF - 1. I have a department meeting after school today. So I mean that could be enough. Except now 2. Some of my lovely colleagues decided to share that 'after the department meeting' is the best time for them for a secondary meeting. So now instead of staying 1 hour later than usual, I get to stay 1.5. And finally, the reason it all stinks even worse than normal is that 3. DH is going to get home early today, and he worked all weekend so I haven't been able to spend any time with him, and now the one day he will get home at 3:30 I won't get home until 5! Oh and finally, 4. Mobile Bumping stinks and I get 0 service at school and I want to catch up but it takes me forever because mobile bumping!

End rant!

We have those once a month because the powers that be don't think we spend enough time at school. Literally. They actually said we aren't spending enough time at school...

I hate this too! Actually I'm starting to really get annoyed when anyone says anything to me about having children, even if they are trying to be nice. Which I feel so bad about, because I know they don't know that I'm trying. At work I have people asking me if I have kids and when I say no they say something like "oh good for you, theres plenty of time for that and I'm sure you're just enjoying being with your husband." Its like, yeah I love my husband but we're ready!

I'm late on this, but my MBF is that my freaking boobs have been killing me for days. Its to the point that I'm having a hard time blowing my nose (tmi, bad cold lol) because my arms touching them hurts too bad. wth body?! I normally start getting a little tender around now heading toward AF but this has been days and is just getting ridiculous!

@ladystinson my OBGYN recommended Vitamin E for my breast tenderness which happens for me in the TWW. It usually starts at 1 DPO and I am currently on 2 DPO and no tenderness. Of course this could be attributed to my body being weird this cycle--but for now, I will give credit to Vitamin E

@aliciabhen @BerkeBaby OH NO on the faculty meetings. My school division is doing some truly insane things this year. We now have mandated weekly "professional development" (read: bitchfests) once a week. It is horrible and I do everything in my power to get out of it.

This new interim guy is a total micromanager. And he wants to be our permanent principal. Hell to the no.

@beary67 good to know, I'll have to keep that in mind normally I get it around the last 2 or 3 days before AF and I've gotta really poke 'em to feel it. This time, we're going on 4 days of barely being able to move, like walking hurts if I'm not tiptoeing lol

oh well, I'm a week into the TWW so I guess I'll be rid of it soon enough. Thanks for the idea!

@murray1030 Do you think your body may have been gearing up to ovulate when you wrecked your car? That would certainly be enough to delay ovulation.

My MBF is directed at the property management company we used last weekend. I sent them a letter addressing the horrible rash we all caught using their hot tub. I received no response except for a receipt for a $25 refund! (The stay cost us over $1k)

I'm late but here goes. My mom is leaving tomorrow on a trip to visit family for 3 weeks (which ordinarily would be my BF because she's my free babysitter for DS and fertility treatments require LOTS of dr visits). I just talked to her and apparently it was unacceptable for DH and I to plan a family night out because she wanted to see DS. For the record, I don't have a problem with her seeing DS before she leaves (even though he spent half the day with her yesterday) but we have plans. Now I feel all guilty for something that could've been prevented if she would have, you know, mentioned this before today.
