Okay I'm a little over 6 weeks pp, and exclusively breastfeeding... And I think I just got my period. My hormones officially hate me!!! Anyone else have this happen? I was hoping I'd be like the people who went like 13 months w/o getting it! Maybe it'll stop when I start bc.
I didn't see this mentioned but Google tells me it's a thing, my clitoris is really sore. I had third degree tearing so idk if it's related to that or just from birth. My legs are also sore like I've been doing squat challenges. No exercise here so I hope it goes away soon. I'm almost 4 weeks pp.
@maureenmce I'm sorry you're having baby blues! Definitely check with your dr if it lasts more than 2 weeks. It will get better! I felt awful at first and am doing much better now.

Got mine at 5 weeks PP. I only pump once a night and BF on demand.
Another thing: heartburn! I have more heartburn now than I did while pregnant and my son was born with a head full of hair! That's saying something.. Good grief!
Almost 4 weeks PP. Is PP arthritis a thing? I swear the joints in my thumbs and fingers are swelling and locking up since we came home from the hospital. Other than that, PPD, stinky vagina , dry, flaky skin and night sweats are the worst.
I have the joint issues too plus random tingling in the fingers. I've been told it's carpal tunnel from non-medical professionals but I plan to bring it up to my OB at my 6 week check next week.
6 weeks pp and I have started itching... Anyone else? Lotion helps for a while, but it seems to be concentrated to my face and upper arms.... Ugh, it's miserable.
I have the same thing, but it is all over my body! I had my 6 week checkup yesterday and the Dr said it's a viral rash. I could take benadryl but it knocks me right out. Otherwise he said to just let it run its course but it shouldn't affect DS. I'm so itchy it's driving me nuts!
My legs and arms have been itchy and my arms bunpy/almost scaly. Until I saw this I just assumed it was dry skin. It's a little better now...

I just found out that benadryl makes a cream also. I am going to try that out. I haven't noticed anything on DS at all. I had the rash for 2 weeks, went away for 2 weeks and now it's back. I haven't changed any products that I use (detergent, body soap/lotion). Has anybody else found anything that has helped at all?
My skin has been extremely dry and I also have the bumps on my arms. Went to the dermatologist last week and she suggested using a lotion called Amlactin. I have been using it for about a week and have noticed an improvement. It is safe for use during pregnancy and while breast feeding.
