Anxiety Dump

Anxiety is relatively new for me. The past few days it's been a STRoNg though. So I'm hoping connecting with the other mommas-to-be will help. Here's how it works. Name top 3-5 most immediate stressors for yourself within 60 seconds. Then top 5 things that make you smile.

1. Baby's health, (past loss)
2. Moving
3. Upcoming promotional exam
4. Decreased intimacy/time w DH

1. My DS'S smile after school
2. DH'S smell on my pillow
3. Puppies
4. Not throwing up in a day
5. Boston creme donuts.

  • 1. My in-laws have cooked up a plan for us to move to their tiny, tiny town and take over a restaurant. DH as a chef so this is his big dream in life, which I support. But doing it in a tiny town with not much customer base does not seem like a wise plan to me. And I like our life in the city and don't want to move, and I feel like there will be better educational opportunities for our child, and for me professionally, if we stay here. But I don't want to stand in the way of his dream, yadda yadda. These are the thoughts keeping me up at night.
    2. Assuming we don't move, should I keep working full time or leave my job when LO comes (part time is not an option)?
    3. The recent weight gain is troubling to see -- even though I know it's for the best possible reason.

    1. The fact that baby is progressing on-track and both he/she and I are in good health so far.
    2. Wonderful spring-like weather we're having.
    3. DH is cooking chicken pot pie for dinner, LO and I are going to demolish that later tonight!!
    4. Business has finally picked up at work after a few very slow months. Which means end end to the boredom and hopefully better $$$ coming my way soon.
  • 1. Right now, moving and finding out what our final closing costs will be.
    2. The kitchen in this New house, needs new cabinets but can't move forward without costs from #1.
    3. Just the baby's health in general. Thankful for the other stressers, it's kept me from full on stressing over this baby 24/7.

    1. My little girl is just so awesome, watching her grow up is just melting my heart but breaking it at the same time.
    2. Feeling this baby move.
    3. Knowing I'm pregnant with my husbands son is such an honor to me, I'm not sure what it is about it but I am.
    4. My job, I enjoy it a lot and I'm thankful for the opportunity.
    5. My husbands calm, sweet soul and how loving he is to me and my daughter.
