@deepoet thinking of you and your little one and sending lots of love and prayers to you this week.
Status Update: 17 weeks 4 days
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: bump is finally starting to show and we've been able to find our LO's heartbeat at home which does wonders to calm my nerves. A/S set for March 9, which feels so far away right now! Starting to feel what might be baby which is also exciting
GTKY: to treat myself I love to take a bubble bath with bath salts
Thinking of you ladies always. I've been pretty MIA on the boards lately, but I am going to be making more of an effort to post regularly
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I had an appt with the OB this morning and heard baby on the doppler. The reason I didn't post earlier is because I have so much anxiety, it would have been a stress rant anyway. I drive myself crazy! I think I drive my husband a little crazy too. I'm wondering if I'm ever going to stop worrying. After our loss I think that I'm always on alert. Last night I was freaking out because I haven't felt any movement. My goal for this month is to try to relax and stop freaking out before appointments.
Also, I'm so hungry. All the time.
GTKY: What is one thing you like to do to treat yourself? I love to shop. I went on a crazy maternity clothes spree on Monday. I also like getting manicures as well!
What a week, lots going on... Thinking of everyone with stressful situations, and glad to hear some good updates...
My update...
20 weeks - halfway through, feeling grateful
WUN - OB appt tomorrow, just a doppler check but it will make me feel better... I do think I'm starting to feel movement, lots of squirming down there that doesn't quite just feel like gas anymore, so that's exciting...
RRS - Weekend was rough but stressors were mostly non baby related so I am taking it with a grain of salt. I had a really bad cold and kept stressing out about not being able to breathe and feeling like crap overall. Husband had to reassure me several times that violent sneezing does not hurt the LO. On top of that I was traveling for the extended weekend and my return flight was delayed by TWELVE hours all of which I spent at the airport because they wouldn't give us a clear update... Oh and funny rant about that, I decided to treat myself to a massage at the airport (never done it before, but it felt like a perfect opportunity!) - it turns out that they are not allowed to give pregnant women massages (why oh why ??!)... On the plus side they allowed me to use the massage chair for free for a while, they seemed to feel bad!
GTKY - Watch some kind of PBS Masterpiece British show... I just find those pretty entertaining and relaxing... Ha I need to find more ways to treat myself, I like reading through what everyone else does!!
First I want to thank you all for the prayers and support... keep it coming. It seems to be helping. My scan today went better than inspected. My fluid has replenished a little. Not as much as they would have liked but hey its better than nothing!!! I am still stuck on the couch but at least there is more hope. I still hate the uncertainty and the fact that the percentage is still 50/50.
Thank you for the update Deepoet we are thinking of you! Glad to hear that the scan went better than you thought, crossing fingers things will continue to improve... Stay on that couch, you get to have everyone else take care of you I hope! hugs
