PGAL check-in 2/15

Re: PGAL check-in 2/15

  • Congrats @krzyriver !! It's so great to hear a heartbeat after cramping and spotting. I too was thinking the worst before we got to see it.
DH had to drag me to the er. I've actually never been to one before and there's no way we are going to be able to pay for it but I was in a lot of pain and the bleeding was red so DH insisted.

  • 1. Introduce yourself if this is your first PGAL check in. Hi! I'm Candace! =)

    2. How far along are you? 5+1

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Seeing a heartbeat at my 8 wk U/S, only made it to 7 wks last time and there was no HB.

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Feeling different this time around (definitely more hungry!) and have a stronger feeling this will be my sticky bean!

    5. GTKY: Do you have today off? Doing anything fun? No, had to work today. =(
Mommy to Gabriel (12) and Isaiah (10) and Step-Mommy to Danely (17), Diego (9) and Leo (4). Trained doula going for certification!
    5 losses (2002-6 wks, 2004-9 wks, 2005-11 wks, 2015-7 wks & 5/27/2016-19 wks)

  • I'm 4+5 today and just had some brownish CM when I wiped. I know it could be any number of things but I can't help thinking it's the start of another CP. I can't handle the anxiety and wish my body would just freaking cooperate.

  • @MRSCORKER I'm sorry. I felt the same way the other day when I started spotting. Hubby wanted to rush me to the ER. It sucks because no matter how many times people tell us it's normal or common or its nothing to worry about, our experiences tell us differently. And we can't forget what we went through before. Hoping it's nothing and it stops soon. *Hugs*

  • @MRSCORKER

fx that it's nothing.  I was panicking yesterday with the same brown cm problem and my doc today told me to not worry that it's literally nothing wrong. Maybe it'll be the same case for you but I do understand how terrifying it is.  *hugs*

  • Thanks so much for all of your kind words of support. I only had it once this evening when I wiped and haven't had it since. Just taking it easy and keeping my FX.

    3. Next milestone you're looking forward to?

In 5 weeks I go in to speak with a geneticist and get the MaterniT21 bloodwork done. I won't be able to relax until after I get those results. Praying for a healthy heart and chromosomally typical child!

    4. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:

    All day sickness. Oi vey!

    5. GTKY: Do you have today off? Doing anything fun?

I'm a SAHM so you could say I have every day off or you could say I never get a day off. I think I'll be taking my 3 year old to the movies today ... if my stomach can handle it.
  • @Mrscorker - FX it is just your bean getting cozy. I had brown spotting at 4 w too. Told my doctor and they did betas. They went from 155 to 791 in three days, so that made me feel relieved. Now I am 6 w, 6 d. Have you told your doctor? If you do, they may pull betas or move up your ultrasound to give you peace of mind.

It only happened that one time on Friday and was more like a beige colored CM. I told myself I would monitor it and call my doc on Monday depending but it hasn't happened since so I'm feeling much better. I'm telling myself that if it was going to turn into full blown spotting/bleeding, it would have by now. I would love to have a beta draw for peace of mind so I might still call and see. I went down the Google hole and found a lot of people who had the same thing and their docs all told them it was leftover IB. I got my BFP at 8 DPO though so I feel like its crazy to assume it was IB 10 days later. Who knows though. I don't care what it is as long as it doesn't come back!

I had some brown spotting this week too and panicked. My doc said sometimes as the placenta and everything is forming and settling in, it can pull away from the uterus and bleed. She said it's very common and often leads to some light spotting, but is nothing to worry about. That didn't really ease my mind because I'm a natural worrier. Lol. But thought I'd pass that along.
