  Not to be rude, but ... how much do they care? I just told them. They were happy for me but I don't think they would have been into a big hoopla over the sex of my baby.

  My coworkers said they wanted to find out in a fun way and basically have a mini gender reveal party. I'm thinking of doing the cake reveal for them. Who doesn't love an excuse for a cake break in the afternoon!?
  
  (I work in a small office environment  [less than 20 people], and I'm pretty close with them)

  Married to DH 10/6/12

  TTC since 5/14

  Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)

  Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN

  Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN 

  First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN

  6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results

  TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN

  TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts

  BC for 2 weeks due to cysts
  

  TI - Injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & full dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 10/15 --> 1 mature follicle --> BFN 

  TI - Last attempt at injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + crinone (AM only) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 11/15 --> 3-4 mature follicles --> BFP!! 11/27/15 @ 13dpo (shockingly, actually waited until then to test)

  
  

  Beta #1 @ 16dpo (11/30/15) = 1,075

  Beta #2 @ 19dpo (12/3/15) = 3,150

  One baby: Saw heartbeat @ 5w5d (114 bpm; baby measuring 2.3mm)

  I'm going to walk into work after my scan and tell them. If it feels right I'll ask if they have a guess before I tell them. Anything else is way too much work and realistically would seem odd to make it into a thing (at least for my office).

  I just told them at a meeting I was pregnant after I had already informed all my bosses. When I find out the gender I was only going to say anything if they asked.

  I didn't really want to make a big deal about it, but I did want to do something a little fun. So after my anatomy scan I stopped by a grocery store that has bins of single color M&Ms. I bought a couple shades of pink and filled up the office candy jar.

  Since you are close with your coworkers and they expressed an interest in a gender reveal party, you can use the same ideas that people use for the gender reveal parties for their relatives (cake with blue/pink filling, balloons, etc).

  I'm the youngest in my group of coworkers (by probably at least 10 years), and some of them knew about our loss last September. So they were super excited to find out I was pregnant, and we LOVE any excuse for food! They wanted to guess if it was a boy or girl (who doesn't love some distractions at work).   I wont do anything for a gender reveal, but this is how I shared the news I was pregnant at work.

  I have a close group of coworkers who love food so when we find out I'm going to bring in either cupcakes or cake balls with filling that's either blue or pink and we'll have a little lunch or something. I wouldn't plan something for the wider company, but for this small group they'll find it fun and it's food so they'll enjoy that.

  It would be cute to just make one of the cupcakes blue or pink inside and then everyone bite into it at the same time... Or even like Russian roulette!! One bite at a time until the gender is revealed haha
