I did laundry today and as I was folding I realized that I only wore real clothes once this week. I've just been changing from old pjs to new pjs at night
I was in an accident on Tuesday. I'm ok, but it was bad enough warrant a tow from the scene and I was sore for a couple days. I didn't rush to the ER but I did make an appointment to get checked. The appointment is today.
I feel a little guilty about going, but I'm not gonna lie - I'm kinda psyched to get another ultrasound and to be getting 2 new carseats (they were in the car at the time, but thankfully the kids were not!).
I'm choosing a leisure trip to NYC instead of going to one of my best friend's weddings in Texas. I feel bad.. But the trip is an all-expenses paid reward trip with my DH's work and I've always wanted to go! If I went to TX, he'd still go on the trip and I'd have to pay my own way to TX and rely on others for food and transportation.
Stemming from the "I forgot about this" thread.. I LOVE Glucola. It's like a melted popsicle... or like one of those barrels of juice with the foil lid on top. Maybe my sweet tooth is what led me to poor glucose tolerance the first time around (failed the 1 hour test.. took the 3 hour test the following day and passed 3/4 draws)... I wasn't too bummed about drinking it again. They gave me 10 minutes to drink it in. I downed it in a few gulps.
I hate fried chicken. That being said, DH went to Church's last night and came home with chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, corn and biscuits and I ate ALL the sides. Im also thinking of having the last biscuit for breakfast. It came pre-honied!
I haven't cooked a meal in an entire week. Everything has been ordered out and I am really not proud of what I've allowed my food budget to be this week. I am also not planning on fasting from meat today even though it is friday in lent
Glad you're ok @Tippy05! I will wait until later to confess my sins since having donuts, cocoa and a bagel this morning aren't too exciting to reveal to this group.
Married: 3/21/15 First time mom to a human but have been a puppy mamma for over 12 years
@AnnaS930 Gross. Haha. The 3 hr test tastes like syrup! I've never liked fruit drinks like kool-aid and the such, though, so maybe that's why I hated it so much.
@izzetoot I really want all that food now, including the fried chicken.

I have been letting DH cook most evenings because a) he's better at it than me, and b) I'm too tired and nauseated in the evenings. I have been getting a lot of takeout lunches because nothing in the house sounds good to me, and I just saw our credit card statement for the month. Holy crap, I have to get myself under control.
I'm loving the 2 for $5 at Mcds! Tuesday I had 2 big macs with extra sauce and a med fry. Ate every single bite! Last night I woke up at 2am and had 5 oreos. I am not so patiently waiting till 10:30 (13 more mins!) when I can go back to Mcds and get me two more big macs and a med fry. Dh took the debit card today and only left me $5. I scrounged the house for change so I can get the med fry.
I think I need to take a stool softener tonight and/or maybe start on a regular basis. Seemed like every time I peed yesterday (a million) I also pooped, but just a few little marbles (or "deer pellets" as we hicks up in Maine like to call them). The straining left my lower abdomen super sore. Just used the bathroom and it's the same today. Somewhat happy I'm not fully constipated but these little amounts are not working out.
Last time around I tended to have 1 loose bowel every morning, like clockwork - it was almost my form of morning sickness. It was actually pretty glorious.

Yikes, hope that the soreness is going away. Happy to hear it wasn't more serious and hope all goes well at your appt.
I have my confession... DH bought me two cupcakes for Valentine's Day. And I didn't eat either of them. They are currently sitting in the kitchen looking old and crusty.
I want food so bad then I get the opportunity to eat food, and I no longer want it.
I've really been slacking off at work, like to the point I feel guilty. Pregnancy is taking up so much of thoughts and has amp-ted up my ADD (diagnosed) and if my brain isn't off on other things I'm just super tired. The current projects I have I dislike and have been procrastinating. To be honest I'm just glad my boss has a lot on his plate and has been completely too distracted to realize I'm behind. Ugh I'm just been so sloppy and slow.
Good to hear you're okay @Tippy05 and that you are going to get checked out. I would have done he same thing.
I'm totally expecting flame for my FFFC, so here it goes... We are re-homing our cat today. I have struggled with this for a while, but honestly think it's the best thing for her. A little back story: we have our house separated by a baby gate because the cat and our two dogs don't get along. Since she is never in the front part of the house she only gets affection when we go back there or right before bed. I think she started to resent us because of this and started peeing on clothing if it was left on the floor. Long story short one of DH's coworkers agreed to take her and we are taking her over there tonight. I already told DH that I will cry, but know she will get the love she needs.

I don't have issue with people rehoming pets if they find a new home for them. I would seriously side eye you if you took it to a shelter instead.
@mom2adoodle haha it happens! I haven't even had any sex dreams yet but I had one last night/this morning that I was laying in bed pumping..and got like 6oz of colostrum. So random.
My MIL texted us a picture of a Christmas onesie she bought for the baby and it is HIDEOUS. I'm hoping more people buy him/her Christmas outfits so we have an excuse for an outfit change or two.

There's always the possibility it won't fit. Hope for that.
@AnnaS930 Regarding poop, both my pregnancis have been like your first. Normally, it works well, but occasionally I'll get the urge to poop in the evening/night and it's always a no go until 8-ish the next morning.
@AmMcc12 I'm not going to flame you. I'm sure having to give up your furbaby is hard enough on its own. I am glad to hear you're not going the shelter route. You know she'll be getting love and attention where she's going.
I have been such a dick to my husband lately. He totally doesn't deserve it and he's taking it like a champ. And he's not even getting any right now. Poor guy.
I have another, regarding sexy dreams My MIL has been visiting for 2 weeks and just left Tuesday. While she was here she would get up early with DS so I could sleep in. That second sleep in the morning was when the dreams hit. So I told DH about it after she left and of course he was like "what?? why didn't you tell me!!" Then last night when we getting undressed for bed he gave me his best sexy look and I laughed pathetically and said "Only in the morning sweet heart" Haha! Poor guy...
Husband is gone for a little under two weeks, so I have super ambitious plans to replay two of my favorite video game series. I've got my 6 year old pumped to watch and his enthusiasm has rubbed off on the 3 year old.
The family that games together stays together? Lets go with that!

@AmMcc12 Properly rehoming a pet isn't flammable if it will make everyone happier in the long run. I sometimes think one of my cats would be happier if we sent her to live with my FIL. I've never mentioned it to my husband, but the cat just doesn't seem to enjoy living with a toddler.
@jhems776 - To be honest, I'm glad I'm not the only one. The first thing I pull up in the morning after my email is The Bump, just so I have something interesting to look at! My company is going through a HUGE reorg right now so, even though I know who my new boss is and that I'll actually still have a job, I don't really have a solid idea of what I'll be doing. Between that and the pregnancy I feel like I'm just going through the motions right now.
I allow my 2 year old to watch shows she shouldn't with us. She recognizes the theme from Game of Thrones and loses her sh!t when she hears it. For two weeks she would tell people they know nothing and she thinks all huskies are named ghost. Oops.
Things I watch with my 1 year old: Teen Mom, My 600lb Life, Pretty Little Liars. Basically all of my trashy shows that my husband doesn't watch.. my guess is my kiddos watches a lot of Parks and Rec with him. He would watch GoT, TWD, etc but we put those on after he goes to bed at night so we can concentrate.
@CoffeeBeanFiend91 I play guitar as a hobby (I'm terrible at it), and one of the first songs I learned how to play was "The Rains of Castamere." My 6 year old knows the tune and knows it well.
He also was really excited about the red velvet Ned Stark cake pops I made last year .. woo boy.

I'm sure everything is fine, but getting checked out was a good idea. And totally jealous you get new carseats.
