WAYDTGKU?: Right now, waiting 5 more days to start provera to jump-start my cycle.

R/R/CS: I'm just so glad the end of limbo is in sight.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to? Tomorrow I've signed up to judge a college mock-trial competition literally all day from 8 to 5. It will probably end up being fun, but why did I agree to be somewhere at 8 on a Saturday morning?! Sunday I will probably clean the house after church....but maybe I'll also get a mani/pedi.

WAYDTGKU?: currently just being annoyed at having no idea when AF or O may just pop up. So having lots of sex and carrying around all the Tampons.

R/R/CS: I'm really excited to start my new job! And I have 2 weeks left to Enjoy at home!
Rant is having to go to a baby shower for someone I hardly know in a couple weeks. We're going to buy her a gift today. Ugh.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?

tonight is date night and were going to a movie.
Tonorrow I'm super excited for! I have a 7 year old sister (yup!) and we recently moved back after being away for 4 years so she's coming over for a sleepover! (She's beyond excited).

Hope you all have a good weekend and positive TTC vibes!
  • Again you guys...sorry about the irregular posting.  I'm trying to get on here every day but work and life have both been crazy lately.

WAYDTGKU?: temping, sex when we feel like it (not often recently, as DH has a bad case of strep throat), waiting on O this month.

R/R/CS: I expect to O soon...tomorrow is day 22 and I'm normally between 19-22 at O time...but I wouldn't hate it if it held off until next week so that I won't get my period while I'm on vacation the first week of March!  I have seen a bit of CM the past two days, not enough that I think that O is eminent, but some.  So I think my body is working on it right now.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?  I'm most looking forward to the weather...it's going to be sunny and in the 60's here.  We're going to take DD outside and let her crawl around in the grass.  Maybe go on a canoe ride.  I need to make sure I have everything I'll need to pack for vacation (I'll have another weekend to do that before we leave, but DH is leaving next Saturday morning and my mom doesn't arrive until Sunday afternoon, so I'll be single mom-ing it for a lot of the time, which is not conducive to getting chores done).  But we don't really have firm plans.  With DH sick, I doubt we'll do much really.

WAYDTGKU?: pnv bbt cm opk preseed

R/R/CS: my temp dipped today from my slow rise. I get CH for CD 25 as long as my next 2 temps are over 98 degrees and i disregard today's temp, which make no sense. This is my first month vaginal temping so don't know what post-O normal range of temps are. If my temps don't rise, I'm pretty certain this cycle is anovulatory. All O symptoms are gone. If it's anovulatory I think I'm gonna take a break from the WTO thread til next CD 1 cuz it's too frustrating and I get too ranty and it's just not cute. I'm feeling hopeless/ranty today and I'm not even out for the count yet. But my weird mood might be related to my weekend plans (see GTKY)

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to? I am going to a wake tonight of a former employee at my old job who committed suicide. He was someone that I would not have expected it from, and I wish that he could have heard all the kind things people have said about him afterwards. I guess I will see a lot of old coworkers so it will be nice to catch up, though I wish it was under much better circumstances.

    WAYDTGKU?: temping, cm, opks

R/R/CS: So I remembered that I had switched to FAM, just to see, the other day and when I switched it back to advanced I got CH back. I still don't really trust it, the CL is .1 or .2 lower than the norm...though my pre O temps were lower than the norm too, I just don't feel like these "post-o" temps are actually post o. They're just too low. So I'm going to hang out here. Last night I also had sooo much creamy cm. Never have I ever had so much creamy (I rarely see creamy at all). This cycle is full of surprises.
Also, this morning my alarm went off while I was dreaming about POA OPK. I immediately reached for my bbt and it was missing, I stood up, turned my flashlight on and started looking on the floor, under the bed, etc. No where to be found. I'm starting to wonder if my H hid it from me or something...then I find it IN my bed. Nice and warm from being slept on. Was I trying to sleep temp?! I knew my temp wouldn't be accurate (from the getting out of bed and frantically looking for it) and when  popped it in my mouth it beeped almost immediately. The temp was absurdly low, like right around 96°. So I just left it off for today. Sigh.

(Sorry, I tend to ramble when I write)

we have so much this weekend! Meeting my college friends and their kiddos for lunch. I haven't seen one in 3 years so she hasn't met DS yet. That's what I'm most looking forward too.  Also, I have a haircut appt tomorrow and then SIL is keeping DS overnight and we are meeting all of FI's friends for a little celebration I set up for him for finishing the fire academy. I changed my mind - I am most looking forward to having our bed to ourselves so we can HIO!!   And then Sunday we have our nephews 1st bday party at a bounce place. That should be fun!

WAYDTGKU?: Right now? Trying to get over a cold and waiting for AF to go away.

R/R/CS: **Debbie Downer Alert** Feeling really down today. It's my first day back after bereavement, and I should have taken the day off because I have a fever and a horrible cold. I feel like I just keep getting kicked down. Between my aunt passing away in January, and my grandma passing last week, we had our car stolen, and now this horrible cold. I just can't seem to get a leg up. Anyway, it's Friday, so I'm looking forward to starting next week with a fresh start. DH has been great through all of this. I don't think I would have made it through without him.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to? If I feel better tomorrow, DH and I are going to go see Deadpool. I cannot wait. We're also going to lay low this weekend, since we've been going nonstop since January. I think we're both run down from all the excitement and having family in all of the time. I have a week and a half of regular school schedule and then we have an early spring break. I cannot wait. It usually means the rest of the semester goes by fast.

ETA: @Megzb510 - so sorry for your loss! Sending lots of positive vibes your way.
  • cjt121413 Hooray for jump starting your next cycle. I'm sure it will be nice to get a fresh start. And I have no idea why you would voluntarily be somewhere at 8am on a Saturday but enjoy your mani-pedi for Sunday. Don't forget to unplug for a bit.

kristah2 FX for O and not AF. Also, enjoy your weekend. Sounds like it's going to be a ton of fun!

BusinessWife That's so funny that your cycles are still synced. FX that you guys both can get BFPs this month!

MrsDramaK FX for turning an OPK soon and hopefully for a temp spike shortly.

delujm0 I hope DH feels better soon so you can get to that important BDing.

@furbabymom2007 Glad to hear that you have a great doctor. It makes a huge difference when it comes to TTC, especially when there's some concerns above and beyond the usual.

Megzb510 I'm sorry that this is such a frustrating time. It might be helpful next cycle to try temping both ways so that you have a frame of reference. Either way, I wish you the best of luck in getting your cycle figured out and I'm sorry for the loss of your former-coworker.

WAYDTGKU?: BBT, CM, CP, OPKs, BD, Aspirin Regiment, soon Progesterone

R/R/CS: Thank you for all your support yesterday ladies. Sorry I kind of ghost posted. I just couldn't handle yesterday. I was talking to DH about it and since late implantation was also pointing at a progesterone issue, my OB/GYN suggested I get tested immediately after my BFP if I needed supplements. Since they don't do much to help unless taken shortly after ovulation I asked my doctor if I could get the prescription to take them. Luckily I have the most helpful OB/GYN on the planet and she said that since there isn't any adverse side-affects (except potentially not getting AF), that she would allow me a few months to try and see if it helps before going to a fertility specialist. I'm just thankful that DH convinced me to reach out to her. It makes me feel like I'm really doing all that I can to ensure success this next time around.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to doing as little as possible this weekend. Koda's puppy obedience class is always fun, but he needs his last set of boosters. Then a little house work and watching all the X-men movies with DH. A little time to unplug is exactly what I need.

WAYDTGKU?:  mostly just vitamins (and acupuncture) at the moment.  And I think AF is gone, so adding temping back in.

R/R/CS:  so I somewhat irrationally (though there were a couple repeat temp incidents) decided that my thermometer was at least part of the issue last month.  So it got the boot and I got a new one (all Mabis).  So this morning is the first temp with the new Mabis, and I turn it on, it does what it always does (flashes 97.70 then changes once to something lower before reading low), and I temp.  When I temp vaginally, I can't hear the beep because of the blankets so I just wait two minutes before I retrieve it to make sure it is done changing.  97.70.  Which seems like an awfully big coincidence, so I do it again.  97.70. Riiiiiiiggghhhttt.  I guess I'll just have to see what happens tomorrow, but I'm feeling incredibly suspicious of new thermometer at this point.

GTKY:  tonight I'm taking DH to seek Deadpool since he was randomly upset that I saw it without him even though he's previously said he didn't want to see it.  Whatever, I liked it enough to see it again.  Not sure about the rest of the weekend though.  I usually don't make weekend plans ahead of time anymore because DH's work is so unpredictable.

    WAYDTGKU:  Metformin, PNV, temping

R/R/CS:  Before, during my super long, anovulatory cycles, I always got a noticeable second line on OPKs but never positive.  Now, the lines are barely visible.  Part of me wants to be excited that maybe something is regulating and it's just more negative because my hormones are stabilizing.  And then the other half of me is like WTF??!!?

GTKY:  Nothing actually planned!  I'm sure I will consume plenty of wine and play with my dog outside since it's supposed to be very nice this weekend!

WAYDTGKU?: PNV, stopping EPO for this cycle possibly? Eff OPKs forever.  And still HIO because I'm still here.

R/R/CS: A slight temp dip this morning has my chart all wacky.  If I put those discarded temps back in, I still get dotted CH for CD16, which I still don't believe.  CM is gone, gone, gone, and I'm still pretty damn certain that I O'ed on CD19 or 20.  If I put in an even slightly higher temp for tomorrow (97.8), I get those dotted CH for CD20.  They go to solid CH if I remove those stupid negative OPKs.  I think I'll stop using OPKs next cycle.  They're a huge hassle, and they're just adding stress.

NBR, today was weigh-in day and I didn't lose anything this week.  I ammmmmm, however, wearing an outfit that I tried on last Friday, and it didn't feel comfortable then.  And today, I think it looks great.  So.  Small victories.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to? I'm grabbing drinks with my two best girlfriends this evening, and possibly having dinner with my sister on Sunday.  Other than that, husband and I are just going to get stuff done around the house.  It's supposed to be nice all weekend, so we will probably go running both days.  I need to work on my yearbook a bunch this weekend, too.

WAYDTGKU?: BBT and CM on FF, Pre-Seed during FW

R/R/CS:  Well DH left for his trip so I'm just really hoping I O tomorrow or at least no later than Sunday.  Based on my previous months I have hope that it could happen but you just never know.  My OPK was still darker this morning but not positive.  This is my first month temping and checking CM so not sure how helpful FF will be but you gotta start somewhere.

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?

While I'm bummed about DH leaving I'm really looking forward to a Mommy Sleepover my BFF is hosting tomorrow.  Some of the wives' of the H's that went away will be there as well as some of our other friends. Looking forward to be able to chill with my girls while the kids play.  DD is an only child at the moment so she really enjoys it when she's around other children which makes it a little easier on me.

  • R/R/CS: I had an emotional breakdown last night while cooking dinner. I was washing my hands over the kitchen sink & went to dry them like I normally do over the sink & the towel got stuck (as it sometimes does!) on my engagement ring. When I pulled the towel away...MY...DIAMOND...WAS....GONE. I couldn't breathe, DH was on the way home from work & all I could think was HE IS GOING TO KILL ME lol (not really but I was FREAKING OUT) My hands were shaking & I just kept looking @ the empty prongs & the EVIL DRAIN. DH proceeded to come home & dismantle the entire piping under the sink...... HE FOUND IT, HE FOUND MY DIAMOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just feel like that is once in a lifetime, there it was JUST SITTING IN THE FREAKING PIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We of course have to call the insurance to see if we need to file a claim before going to the jeweler to have it checked out & reset but OMFG talk about an insane Thursday night!

My heart stopped for you. Holy cow! So glad you were able to find it. DH gives me a hard time sometimes because I always take my ring off when I get home. I think he would have found me in a pile on the floor if this had happened to me. Enjoy your retail therapy.

R/R/CS: I had an emotional breakdown last night while cooking dinner.

Me too- AHHHHHHHH so thankful  I occasionally take mine off when I'm cleaning & cooking but I was like NEVER AGAIN, LOL! Retail therapy, much needed- thank you :)

  • *question about temping*

    Month/Cycle: 7/4 (long cycles...)

    CD: 17

WAYDTGKU?: charting temp and CF, PNP, likely starting progestin today then clomid.

R/R/CS: I have a temping question. I usually temp at 7am but today my pup woke me at 6am. I temped and was in the usual range. I temped again at 7 and it was quite a bit higher. How do I chart this? My cycles are usually long but if I may have just ovulated then maybe I don't need to take the progestin and clomid??

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?

I'm going to a soup swap with 8 ladies who are friends of a friend. I made my first soup for the occasion! Everyone brings 8 pints and we all taste and swap.
  • @EgnaroBean - my understanding is that you would chart the temp you took at 6am as this is ideally the one that follows 3 hours of sleep. (I hope that helps. I'm doped up on cold meds, not sure if anything makes sense right now. :) )

I took mine off daily for a while because I wouldn't wear them while I swim.  Long complicated story about why I hit only my left hand on the lane lines at least a couple times an hour, but I was afraid it would knock the diamond loose.  Now I got a strong necklace chain and I just wear them around me neck and never take them off there.

  • Month/Cycle: 11/11

    CD: 6

    WAYDTGKU?: Nothing right now

R/R/CS: I just realized I have two problems with the ttc plan this cycle - the follow up with the neurologist to discuss the MRI is after expected O, and even if I got an earlier appointment and she gave the okay for ttc my work trip will probably fall on -1 and -2.  Not impossible, but tricky. I have two compelling reasons to take a break this month but I don't want to lose this cycle!!!

GTKY - What are you doing this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?
If it's warm tomorrow I guess I'm most looking forward to going for a walk.  I've been cooped up inside too long.
