Both my kids got their first haircuts today. I saved the first snip from each of them. I have them in a bag for now and need to figure out what to do with them.

Also, I haven't read the UO thread today. Sorry if people don't like our random thread. Not my problem lol. They can start their own if they want.

Back before TB imploded there was thread in parenting that was hundreds of pages long. It was insane and moved incredibly fast. I never followed much on that board but that thread intimidated me.

AW time for me! I am super not good at artsy crafts. I always *want* to be good at them. I found this pattern on Etsy for cheap and the final product for not cheap so I figured I'd try the pattern out first. And it turned out so cute!!! I'm going to make more of these and some other things and make wall decor for over the crib!!!

I just don't understand how there would be 2 parties. Even on a leap year, you only get 1 birthday. Maybe I'm just missing something? Although, I think her desire to throw 2 parties is the least of her issues...

I LOVE that @lilwatz - we are doing elephants too for the nursery. We did them as part of our wedding favors too because they are good luck in India and half our guests were Indian.

I can't sew to save my life though. In fact, the last time I sewed was probably in 7th grade. Is it really really fool proof?

I managed to burn thread on my sewing machine. Like, the woman at the store was surprised I managed that feat. I am truly craft illiterate. And look what I did! You can too!!!!

I guess she's thinking the kid will have a birthday on February 28th or March 1st most years and then also on Feb. 29th on leap years?

I was waiting for that thread to get good, I was just a smidge too early! What kind of doctor promises a baby will be born within 24 hours of induction or willfully induces for no medical reason before 40 weeks? Too bad it got shut down so fast

There has to be a way to do a filter or search for just threads with a last update ID of BumpAdmin so I can just go read all the ones that have been shut down when I need a morning jumpstart.

Bear14+ I just saw your post, I'm sorry! It initially did NOT go well.. however-- it did lead to a very ticked H that cleaned the entire house and did everything that has been on his Honey-do list. Then after he calmed down all was well and he understands, so it all worked out! Thank you for thinking of me!!
