we can't decide between Sayre James (pronounced Sayer) or Brookes David. Help!

Both sound like names that would always be mispronounced and/or misspelled.
What about Brooks?

I agree with PYLWhammy. Personally I'd avoid Brookes/Brooks though since I know only women with that name. What about James Sayre? I feel like it has a nice ring to it.

James Sayre makes me think of James Sawyer from Lost

I really like Sayre, very unique! Personally I'd be open to both and see which one fits your little man after he's born

I would pronounce Sayre like "Sair."

I like Brookes a lot, although I don't understand the "e" in the spelling. Why not Brooks?

(OP I hope you don't mind my bluntness....I'm at a loss over names myself, and feel like when I ask for opinions at this point, I just want honest ones to help me!)

I wouldn't pronounce Sayre like sayer, and it makes me think "naysayer"

So Brooks, though it's NMS.

I would go with Brooks without the e! That's what we almost named our baby.

Thanks everyone for your comments! I appreciate the feedback. The ticker update is a nightmare. I can't figure out how to update it since my daughter was born.
