Just a heads up, these threads never go over well (lurk a bit and you will get a clear idea of what the 'no no' posts are). None of us are knowledgeable enough to know what we are looking at. I'm not sure if those are shots from the bottom angle looking at the butt, thighs, and genitals, if the umbilical cord is in the way, or if the baby is keeping his/her hands in the way of their genitals (which happened at my sex ultrasound). Also, clarity of the amniotic fluid/your level of hydration can really affect pictures.
Also, just a nugget from my own life, my mom was told I was a boy at every single ultrasound leading up to my birth. I've seen numerous women on the bump be told one sex at their earlier scans and finding out months later the baby is the opposite sex.
Is the foot in the way? Or am I just not having enough sex that I forget what a penis actually looks like?
My poor husband, because of my fatigue (borderline narcolepsy, let's be real) even my best and most sincere attempts end up with me unconscious within minutes of sitting or laying down.
Nope nope nope. If the tech can't tell and has a probe to try to coerce them into a better position how are we supposed to be able to tell with a few pictures? There's entire forums out there dedicated to guessing with lots of people who find baby genital speculation to be so much fun, might I suggest giving one of them a try?
Maybe my son just isn't shy, because he let it all be seen at my 20w apt. My dh kept commenting on it when we got home. The sarcastic wife that I am wanted to make a comment about how I don't know who he got it from.

I told mine the other day to just do him, I was to tired to care about what I got out of it.
I still put out but only because I don't want him bitching to all his other friends how since I got pregnant I don't put out anymore, because they all told him I wouldn't once I got pregnant and all I have to say to that is FU.
If I want to get pleasure out of it though, I usually just do that part myself.

I feel like 'you do you' is totally appropriate here, hahaha!

I may have just offended like 12 people here by mentioning masturbation. lol.
Well obviously you have a 50/50 chance on either gender. Your Doctor telling you it's "possibly" a girl without seeing an ultrasound is just silly. And your technician telling you it "might be a boy", while reviewing the ultrasound, is a good indicator that if they are trained to read those and can't give you a definite, you shouldn't rely on internet strangers to answer that question. Good luck!

I fully support masturbation, I wish they'd realize how God damn tired we are. And you're growing two @jlgriff11
This may be a bad time to mention that intersex children exist too and they're also pretty awesome humans. If I were you I'd worry less about genitals and more about overall health.
Oh these are my favorite threads! Op I'm so glad you asked, I love guessing!!!!! That being said, I think it's going to be a platypus!!! Congratulations!!!!!

I asked the lady doing my ultrasound if she'd ever personally seen an intersex baby. She looked at me like it was the weirdest question she'd ever heard, but then told me that in her 30 years doing ultrasounds she had seen one.
Honestly I don't even know what i'm looking at based on that ultrasound picture so we really have no clue cause we are not trained professionals. If the tech can't even be sure then there is no hurt in waiting a bit longer for a better scan

I asked mine too! She said she's been a tech 7 years and has only seen one baby with "ambiguous genitalia" on an ultrasound. Though she said intersex people often present with male or female genitals and only later are found to be intersex based on genetics or internal organs (XXY chromosomes or ovaries and testicals both present). Very interesting! Though apparently exceedingly rare.
{OP in all seriousness you probably just have a blurry image, an uncooperative baby, and poor judgement when it comes to thread topics on forums full of bored, hormonal pregnant women. While there is nothing wrong with having ambiguous genitalia, it's very very unlikely that's the case.}
That looks like a boy to me (nothing like my DD's ultrasound, but similar to my DS). I would honestly get an elective ultrasound if you really want confirmation. I'm not professionally trained so disclaimer that I could be wrong and I wouldn't paint the nursery based on my guess here.
Oh this makes me lose excitement lol, my doctor said at our 18 week ultrasound they have a good chance at telling! I'd assume a boy? But I am curious now to see what happens at your next ultrasound!
