R/R/CS: I suppose this cycle I'm not 100% upset I didn't end up KTFU since if I was my FMLA/paid leave would be messy @ my new job I'm starting Monday. Will that bench me? Definitely not. At this point we've been trying a full year, I'm not going to STOP what we're doing just because of a new job/insurance switch, I have faith it'll all sort itself out. Looking forward to choosing a new obgyn here in MPLS & getting an RE referral.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? *IDK if other people would consider it fun/interesting but I'm obsessed with the Food Network/Cooking Channel. I love cooking @ home and researching (yay Pinterest) new meal ideas. DH & I also love going out to eat & exploring new foods in our area. *Since there's a workout trend, I'll note my preferred work out, hands down it's gotta be barre! It's the only thing that works for me & I love that you can modify throughout your pregnancy as well *Is Pinterest in itself a hobby? HAHAHAHAHA
ME: 31 | DH: 31
Married: April 2015
TTC (BBT & FF) #1: April 2015 (Off BC: January 2015)
Yes @PennStateCait the timing is crappy as I think I'll O after he's gone but really hoping it happens at least a day early so that we can at least be at -4 and -3 which is better than nothing I suppose. Going to give it our best shot with the timing we have.
Glad you're moving on to the TWW, hope to meet you there soon!
R/R/CS: Everything is coming up brambles1 today! AF finished up a little earlier than usual this month. Also, DH travels a lot for work but is home for the next few months so I am pumped at the prospect of actually getting our timing right for the next two cycles at least. He also just told me that his unit will be doing a dining out in the spring/summer this year. (A dining out is a formal military dinner; think the Army's equivalent of prom). I love any excuse to get all dolled up and I've already booked marked a few potential dresses on Rent the Runway.
On a completely unrelated note, I think I may give acupuncture a try this month for stress relief purposes or at the very least a good massage. Have any of you ladies done acupuncture before? Would you recommend it?
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Does cleaning my house and drinking wine count?
longliveregina I have an aspirin regiment to help with getting KU and staying KU. After two losses and some blood test, my OB/GYN diagnosed me with APS which is an autoimmune disease that causes blood clots. In early losses, it doesn't allow the fertilized egg to properly attach to the uterine lining. The aspirin thins my blood slightly (without taking heparin) to assist in implantation and blood clot prevention later on.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BD, Yoga, tried Pregprep this month, tried OPKs for the first time, checking all the things
R/R/CS: Had a temp spike this morning after my very first positive OPK last night. DH and I were able to HIO one more time before he went out of town until Friday. Timing feels right. Just waiting for 2 more high temps to confirm O.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Not really. I do a lot of yoga and I'm in the 300 hour advanced training. I guess it's kind of a hobby since it's more than just exercise.
Thinking good thoughts for you all today!
@babymish sorry about your SO's anxiety but your chart definitely looks promising!
@Megzb510 looks like you're still in your normal O window. Keep doing what you're doing! I'm sure you'll be there soon.
@nwegman7878 I just started OPKs this month and wasn't convinced they would work for me. I followed the instructions and finally got a positive the day I O'd (although I can't confirm it for another 2 days). I was really frustrated thinking they wouldn't work for me but realized it just took some patience. I also followed the prediction from FF for when I was going to O and used it on the day I had O symptoms. Not sure I'll rely on them so much in the future since I check everything else, but we'll see.
WAYDTGKU: CD12 u/s today...come on follicles! Then trigger shot and IUI
R/R/CS: I have a rash, WTF is going on with my body? It seems every month around O I get a rash. Like my body freaks out and doesn't know what to do. Ugh. My neck and ears are super red and on fire. I made an appointment. So I get to go from one apt to another this afternoon. Which means I get to be done with work at 1:30 so winning...right?
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Shopping, beer, wine...those all count! I also played the guitar, but haven't picked it up in a while.
R/R/CS: I have the whole week off this week! It's the first time I've had significant time off without plans (like a vacation) in about a decade so I'm enjoying the chance to just do nothing and catch up on chores around the house and time with friends.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Rock climbing is probably the most consistent, my husband and I climb about once per week, though I'd prefer we do it more often. I love camping, hiking, kayaking, and pretty much anything outdoors. I just went skiing last weekend for the first time in years, so that was awesome!
Month/Cycle: 5/3 CD: 32 WAYDTGKU: temp/opk/preseed/trying not to stress R/R/CS: Hoping to ov this week so I'm exited to move on from WTO! Rant- I think this zika craziness is getting a little silly. I can't imagine waiting to TTC due to fear of a virus. Maybe this is an UO on here? GTKY: DH and I love to play tennis. I love yoga. We are also obsessed with traveling, which gets expensive. But I think it's worth it to see the world! Our next trip is to Europe this summer.
I had to edit this so many times. Does anyone else have issues with the iphone app and posting from an ipad? I'd rather not have to use my laptop to use this site
@DiFazette I don't do Crossfit because I am clumsy and I think the competitive element would be dangerous for me. I work out with a personal trainer in a private gym, and right next door is a Crossfit gym. Those people always scare me and half of them look like they aren't properly trained and are about to hurt themselves. I'm sure there are plenty of people who do Crossfit safely, but like with anything that gets popular, there are always going to be idiots who jump in and do too much, too soon. Given my track record of clumsiness and my propensity to trip and fall on the flattest, most even surfaces, I think it's safer if I stay away from those people. You also mentioned cardio vs strength training. I love to add in quick cardio intervals to my strength workouts to keep my heart rate up! Lots of times, I superset with burpees and other horrible things. I don't do a lot of cardio. Running once or twice a week helps me keep a base, and then I ramp up when I'm getting ready for a race.
@WinchesterGirl I always dip really low on the day I O. But you're right - EWCM came back with a vengeance!
Which brings me to a *****TMI question***** for everyone: Does anyone else have almost no CM in the morning and then build it throughout the day? It's almost 1:00 and I'm like. A total mess. But this morning I was almost completely dry.
WAYDTGKTFU: EOD then ED during window, OPK, checking CM
R/R/CS: I am sitting at work bored as hell right now because the Internet is having issues which means I can't get into my systems to work. I am supposed to do OT tonight but if I can't get into the systems then I can't do my OT. This really sucks. I hate computers. I think we should go back to doing accounting by hand. That is how I first learned to do it and how I prefer to do it. Sorry for the rant about work. I am just really worked up about it today.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? I like to read. I am currently reading a series by Kiera Cass called The Selection Series. It is based in America in the future after World War 4. The US no longer exists and we are ran by a monarchy and have a caste system. I am on the 3rd book of the series. I hate putting it down. It is such a page turner.
R/R/CS: I'm feeling very relieved, I had my hysteroscopy today and everything was normal. It looks I have plenty of developing follicles and 1 dominant follicle. Uterus looks good, and my tubes are open. Everything we've had checked out on my part has been normal. DH is starting to worry more that there's something wrong on his end, but I really feel better now about continuing to try on our own, knowing my tubes are open. It's also a relief to know we can go on to IUI if we need to after a few more months. Just feeling very thankful today.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? I do agility with my dog, he just loves it and its fun to work as a team. I also garden (the winter is so hard...) and do yoga. I'm hoping to get back into horseback riding (hunter jumper) and I've been checking out a couple barns to get started at. My job and TTC are both stressful for me, so I really need my hobbies to take my mind off things and keep me sane.

This sounds a lot like the Hunger Games...have you read that series? How does it compare? I'm looking for something new to read!
@lcsrva I agree about the crossfit "issue" that so many people jump into it and have no idea what they're doing and don't get properly taught. I took a few months worth of classes and watching some people there made my knees hurt just watching! I do crossfit exercises in my garage (we have a rack and bumper plates) and I love it, but some people scare me haha
Now, regarding your question, I have days of both. Some days I would wake up to enormous amounts of CM and some days it doesn't show up whatsoever until about 12pm. I think it has to do a lot with my hydration. I drink over a gallon of water a day so it's normal (for me) for it to increase in the afternoon... just depends if it starts in the morning and continues all day or simply starts in the afternoon.
@PennStateCait I don't think I normally spot during mid-cycle, but I also haven't kept track of my cycles like this before. But that plus the cramps on my left side make me think I'm in the midst of O. I'm still cramping today though, so I'm not sure where I am in this cycle...I definitely see the benefits of temping now! This confusion is not great lol
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM monitoring, BM EOD (most weeks but definitely during FW)
R/R/CS: It's CD 1, do I need to say anything else. GRR. Cramps woke me up at 5 this morning, which then woke my puppy up, so then there was no getting back to sleep. AF is vengeful this cycle already.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Well DH and I are super into archery if that counts. We go to the archery range most weekends and it's so much fun! We just shoot targets and trees though, no actual hunting or anything.
Me 30 Him 30 Married August 2015 DS born 5/23/2018 TTC #2 July 2020
R/R/CS: I had yesterday off work (yay state job!) and spent some quality time with my mom, did some chores around the house, and then took a lovely 3 hour nap. I actually feel recharged. And I brought a super healthy lunch today. And I plan to do a workout tonight. Go me!
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? I'm learning how to play the violin, I knit occasionally, and I enjoy drawing. Basically all things I do at home and that don't require any energy. I need to get out more.
Me: 32 | DH: 36
Married June 2005
1/2016 - TTC#1
4/2017 - Initial RE visit, Dx: Severe MFI (Varicocele, 14% motility, 3% progression, but normal count)
7/2017 - Stage 3 endometriosis discovered during laparoscopic removal of ovarian cyst
9/27/2017 - BFP at 10dpo (cycle 22), baby boy due June 9, 2018
@lcsrva I'm the same as you. Dry in the morning and then more progressively throughout the day. Knowing this, I check the first time around noon and then a few more times throughout the rest of the day to see if there are changes. And like @mokay19 I think it has to do with my water consumption. I am a huge water drinker bc of other issues but it seems to help with CM.
R/R/CS: It's CD1. I had a weird weekend. I'm on cycle 9, and almost a year TTC. So I'm having a pity party over here.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? I crochet, or more like I used to crochet. I haven't done it in a while but I did enjoy it. I might pick it up again to help me deal with stress.
R/R/CS: Positive OPK yesterday, and a temp drop today - I picked up my husband from the airport this morning and took him straight to bed! TMI: My CM is watery, but not EW, which I've seen past cycles, and the OPK is negative today. We'll wait and see if the temps climb and confirm O, or if I'm just gearing up to O ( giving us a better chance at timing).
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby?
I enjoy collecting marathons (full, half, relay- whatever) . Its a torturous hobby, but one that keeps me sane. It's a way to make working out a priority for me, as you don't want to be miserable on race day. I also tend to run races in different cities/states than my own, so it's a fantastic way to see the world.
@ReesaAnne16 I was thinking about you and sending good thoughts! I'm so happy that you're feeling relieved and more at peace with this over with. Fx for good luck either on your own or with an iui!!!!!!

@MrsDramaK It doesn't look like you've ovulated yet. The last two temps are open circles. Did you temp at a different time for those? Just keep at it, it is a learning process but after you get through a whole cycle it starts to make sense. Temping is all about the big picture!
@nwegman7878 I also chart CM, so I start using OPKs at the first sign of fertile CM. I would think starting a few days before you expect to ovulate or as soon as you enter your FW would work to start testing with OPKs. If you have lots of Wondfos to spare, I would suggest testing a couple times a day to make sure you can catch your surge. Good luck!
@writeress unfortunately it's hard to say. O pain can be experienced the day of O, before, or even after. Have you been watching your CM? If you see that you had fertile CM and then it's drying up that could also be a sign that you may possibly have ovulated or that you are ovulating.
@Iscrva I'm not sure about the same times as you, but I do notice that there are certain times of the day when I have more CM than others. Totally normal
Other than that blip SO has pulled out a cracking performance this month, not only did we manage 4 times in the fertile window it was decent sex too!! ....it had become a little regimented previously but we've managed to make things interesting again
@nwegman7878 if you have enough cheapies I'd probably start now. If not then maybe CD 15 and I'd recommend afternoon/evening testing. Fmu is not great when it comes to opk's
@sparty18 sorry for the chart confusion, do you have a link so we can nosey and try suss it out?
@gonetothesea sorry you are suffering with bd too. We used horny goat weed this month and I think it really helped. I'd recommend giving it a try.
@whiska I'm the same with the tww and then I get motivated in my new cycle..Until the stress starts again. If you figure out a way to relax please share
@PennStateCait a slow rise isn't anything to worry about. Ff did a study in high rise charts vs slow rise but it didn't show that one was more likely to be pregnant than the other
@H4aPartyof5 what time of day are you using your opk's?
@mokay19@kenya715 I feel like an idiot for not making the water consumption connection. I definitely don't start drinking water until afternoon, when I finally have a chance to finish my coffee. Now it all makes sense! Thank you!
@Sparty18 On first glance I would say CD13 because of the fertile CM after CD11. I have had some charts that FF couldnt decide on between two dates and if I put in high temps up to DPO7 it would then change the original estimation to the later possible O date. If that made sense?
Maybe try playing with your chart and enter a weeks worth of high temps and see if it changes its mind...
@babymish I'm sorry the stage fright thing is back. I've read it's only a 5% chance on O day, so I wouldn't stress it. WAY TO GO ON FOUR IN THE FW!
@sdlp123 I'm sorry. It hurts more it seems when your own kids do it. DD is almost 6 now and it's been non-stop requests for a sibling for the past 3 years (only TTC the last year with a loss and 6 month break). I just told her the egg was too fast for us last month. On a funny note, she must have overheard us having a morning quickie and she knows "kissy face makes babies" so she asked when the baby was going to be done growing. I told her there was no baby yet and mom & dad just need to play kissy face more. She freaking side-eyes us and said, "Well maybe if you play kissy face loooooooooonnnnnnnggggggeerrr..." *facepalm*
@nwegman7878 I start the day before FF predicts "green days" so CD12. I do one a day at 11am (5am-8am is the worst time to catch a surge according to Shettles I think, it takes 5-6hrs from a surge in your blood to show in urine) and at CD15 I start doing one at 11am and 10pm (or when I go to bed) and follow through until the surge disappears.
@mokay19 FF VIP is so worth it. I can't get enough of chart overlays and advanced searches.
@thefarmerswife0411 Pinterest totally counts! In fact, that's where all the hobbies I wish I had time/energy/knowledge for go! All my someday hobbies. I seriously don't get why it isn't popular for the guys because aren't they supposed to more visual than us? Pinterest is like meth for your eyeballs.

R/R/CS: This part of the cycle is about as interesting as watching paint dry.
GTKY: My passive hobby? I can chromecast TED Talks all.freaking.day. My active hobbies are going to Paint & Sip-type classes (my home hallway that serves as my gallery has at least 15 paintings) and hiking.
@babymish Thanks for looking! I just put in 7 more high temps and it still gives dotted CH on CD11. I agree that other signs point to CD13 making sense too, so oh well, I guess it'll just be a mystery this month.

So, she postponed and came today afterall no biggie. I go ahead and close all my TTC related windows and delete my browsing history just in case. We're working on whatever blah blah and it's all fine UNTIL!
I go to save a pdf of a document we had just e-filed (on my personal laptop, not the other business one that had the Quickbooks running) and what does my BRILLIANT COMPUTER DECIDE TO DO??? Auto-save to the folder entitled, "Pregnancy," that had nothing in it but a couple of snapshots of DUE DATE CALCULATORS!!! Ughh... She didn't say anything and just kind of looked away but she may very well have seen EXACTLY what it was and just quickly looked away embarrassed, b/c obviously there is nothing to report. She probably figures we are trying, but that's literally all it was, were hypothetical due date calculators for if I were to GKTFU next time I O. Sigh. I just hope no harm done. @BusinessWife I'm dying at your story over here. You were trying to be so careful! But how could you not have thought to label the folder "Tax Returns" or "Vet Bills" or something equally as boring??
@BusinessWife I'm sorry but I was cracking up at that story, too! I agree with @lcsrva and label it something obsolete. My husband always jokes that anytime you see a file on a guys computer labeled something to the extent of "Tax Returns '97" then you know that it's inappropriate material haha so you might as well use that secret for your hidden material!
@lcsrva Well that's the thing, it was just one in a million folders, but b/c that was the last place I saved something, it opened right up to it! The part that drives me crazy is some OTHER thing I was trying to save defaulted to a totally random .TMP folder. Not sure why it decided to switch it up on me, but Great timing!
@gonetothesea sorry you are suffering with bd too. We used horny goat weed this month and I think it really helped. I'd recommend giving it a try.

I felt the same way when I first started, scared of the crazy people breaking their backs...hahah our gym is super beginner friendly, which is perfect for me. We have a awesome group of coaches who keep us doing things correctly, and put people in check before their ego's get them hurt!
It's funny because I have a huge bruise on my knee right now, super gross, green, etc. Everyone at work immediately says "crossfit did that?!", nope but sprinting and trying to beat my husband did, so technically that is just running, right??

I made an appointment. So I get to go from one apt to another this afternoon. Which means I get to be done with work at 1:30 so winning...right?
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Shopping, beer, wine...those all count! I also played the guitar, but haven't picked it up in a while.
@nordymn89 Sorry about the rash, that is odd! Hope you get some answers and yay for a short day!
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: temping, opk
R/R/CS: I have the whole week off this week! It's the first time I've had significant time off without plans (like a vacation) in about a decade so I'm enjoying the chance to just do nothing and catch up on chores around the house and time with friends.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? Rock climbing is probably the most consistent, my husband and I climb about once per week, though I'd prefer we do it more often. I love camping, hiking, kayaking, and pretty much anything outdoors. I just went skiing last weekend for the first time in years, so that was awesome!
CD: 32
WAYDTGKU: temp/opk/preseed/trying not to stress
R/R/CS: Hoping to ov this week so I'm exited to move on from WTO!

CD: 12, based off of my previous periods while I had the IUD in
WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, PNV, CM
R/R/CS: I am feeling meh about cycle one since I just had my iud removed, I just don't really know what to expect. But we'll see.
GTKY: Do you have a fun or interesting hobby?
Not really. I read, a lot and I got a Cricut for Christmas so I like playing around with it.
CD: 11
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: BBT, all the vitamins

CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM monitoring, BM EOD (most weeks but definitely during FW)
R/R/CS: It's CD 1, do I need to say anything else. GRR. Cramps woke me up at 5 this morning, which then woke my puppy up, so then there was no getting back to sleep. AF is vengeful this cycle already.
GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby?
Well DH and I are super into archery if that counts. We go to the archery range most weekends and it's so much fun! We just shoot targets and trees though, no actual hunting or anything.

GTKY: Do you have a fun/interesting hobby? I crochet, or more like I used to crochet. I haven't done it in a while but I did enjoy it. I might pick it up again to help me deal with stress.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, PNV, CM/CP, Preseed

My Chart
BFP on 7/2/2013
Other than that blip SO has pulled out a cracking performance this month, not only did we manage 4 times in the fertile window it was decent sex too!! ....it had become a little regimented previously but we've managed to make things interesting again
TEAM: PINK!!
@megzb510 sorry you haven't O'd yet, hopefully it is around the corner!
@mrsdramak I don't think that link is working?
@nwegman7878 if you have enough cheapies I'd probably start now. If not then maybe CD 15 and I'd recommend afternoon/evening testing. Fmu is not great when it comes to opk's
@WinchesterGirl Fx for a positive opk soon!
@teamginger13 good luck with the IUI !
@anj27 tat to a regular cycle! It is definitely something to be thankful for:)
@beary67 I haven't heard anything about vitE but do let us know how you get on!
@khbear sorry about the wonky temps and nose bleeds! At least it's still early into your cycle to cause too much of a problem
@lecool ordinarily it would be higher but it could be a fallback rise. I think there is info on fallback rises on ff.
@murray1030 FX for a positive opk and O soon!
@Kenya715 you for O! See you in tww

R/R/CS: So those of you who were in the TWW with me may remember I didn't want to test until after my MiL left because I knew I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face and would be acting all silly if I got my BFP - not that we had anything to worry about.
The last thing I want to do is start a whole family drama...
GTKY: Does singing count! I haven't been to the opera in ages, but I actually have some rep I need to work on before Sunday, and my first rehearsal for a big concert coming up in May on Monday! Squee!

Honestly, which gym you choose makes a huge difference.
