Like another poster has said... There is no difference between a male and female skull until after puberty so unless your baby comes out with facial hair no one will be able to tell you. I would also like to point out that there are lots of sites that enjoy guessing the sex of your baby but te bump is not one of them. This is more of a scientific based community and if you feel that this does not suit you Id be happy to recommend a few that might.

By all means I would like you to view our pregnancy group and see how there has never been one catty remark no "no one cares" it's extremely supportive and I'm taking it they are all adults in our group as they abide by if you don't like it don't comment "if you've got nothing nice to say, say nothing at all" something quite a few of you are frankly lacking

I think she doesn't even belong to a group or if so it sounds really really sad, and full of women who are really miserable in life that need to cause static on random pregnancy forums. I think there's support groups for that kind of self depercation.

It's a public forum so there's always going to be opinions that don't match your own.
What you posted is like you running up to a group of strangers , showing them your fetus's ultrasound photo, and asking them to guess if it's a boy or a girl based on a theory that has no backing to it. Not really fun right ?

If if you did the above with friends and family the reaction might be different. Even posting this in your BMB might ( a huge might) get a better response as those are the women who you will become close with during your pregnancy if you so choose.

People gave their opinions and instead of learning from it or accepting the fact that not everybody understands your idea of "fun" you got defensive and rude.

Not a good way to make friends on here honestly.

Im honestly not saying this in a snarky or rude way but you are really making yourself sound extremely bitter. If the bump isn't your style that's totally fine- it's not everyone's cup of tea.. and from what you've said, you already partake in a board you do enjoy... So why then are you on this personal vendetta? Why not just keep enjoying your board? Why come here with the sole purpose of instigating drama? That doesn't sound like the standard you are holding others to.

I really hate when women use hon/honey/sweetie/dear in a cruel and demeaning way. The first time the OP finished a post with "xx" it felt rude, and frankly showed that she was instigating and stirring the pot from the get go. That kind of language/use of tone does nothing to help promote positive relationships between women, and it's something that you don't usually see on TB.

You guys, wouldn't it be sooooo much fun to post ALL of our ultrasounds and have people guess the sex of our babies? I don't think that would become tiresome at all!!!! I know none of us actually know each other, but we must be invested in the genitalia of all the fetuses EVERYWHERE. I know we will be clogging up the boards for when silly ole things that (may) matter more (miscarriages, abnormalities, issues in pregnancy, ect.), but I think it is just SO MUCH FUN!

@thebigoaktree er duh! Didn't you know that because men are generally taller, they have bigger feet! This also happens with babies! However, it is a BIT more complicated. You see, baby boys will have a left foot that is slightly larger than the right, but you can ONLY assess this when the baby is feet firmly against your tummy. Otherwise, girls have longer right arms.
