Skull Theory for gender guessing?

Hi ladies!

Have any of you had the skull theory being true for your selves on your scans before 13 weeks?
the ultrasound photo to the bottom right I had done at 11w 6d. I don't have an ultrasound of my daughter at that stage so unfortunately I can't compare them.
Any guesses or have you had any luck or not with this theory?

Re: Skull Theory for gender guessing?

  • An FYI- these posts don't go over well. You're having a baby :) congrats!
  • Loading the player...
  • I'm sure an ultrasound tech will be able to tell you the sex of your baby more accurately than a bunch of internet strangers.
    Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers
    Lilypie First Birthday tickers
  • I honestly wish they would! The ultrasound techs won't say a peep until after 20 weeks. Wouldn't even show me the legs or anything during the ultrasound.

So old wives tales and open guesses to bide my time until then! :)
  • The point of the post im pretty certain is to have fun guessing the gender. Based on skull theory, nub theories, heart rate..etc. There are so many gender determining old wives tales...why? Because its fun. Because most are anxiously awaiting the 20 week u/s or birth. Its such a wonderful mystery and honestly...i find it fun to guess..

    Im going to guess boy!!
  • Oh dear how silly could I have been and NOT seen that my baby is actually just a jelly bean with a skull that shoots lightening out of its eyes   :O and here I was thinking I might get guesses somewhere down the line of girl or boy. And for you ladies that don't want to guess by all means you don't have too really you don't!  I'm not holding a knife to your throat I swear! Hahaha just looking for friendly guesses between boy or girl thanks ladies ;D xx ❤
  • Lmao...so many truly try-hard attempts at cattiness.

    They werent even good..

But it's ok that others DON'T find it fun.

Its also ok for you to click back and not respond.

Full of fluff I tell you ;)

  • My baby has a skull too! It's a girl for sure!!! So fun!

I'm going to take a wild guess and guess majority of you are American, other pregnancy groups that I am apart of with the fact that I will probably never meet any of those ladies and yet none of them answer back with "don't know you don't care" it's a fun time being pregnant so by all means if you want to get your nose out of joint over a simple guessing game to enjoy the excitement of finding out all to you to ruin your own day but in no ways is that going to stop me asking for fun guesses and honestly sweetheart, if it bothers you just simple scroll it's really that easy :) now then, to all you ladies who just don't care about my baby that's fine but none the less I hope your pregnancies go well I hope you have a healthy happy baby and enjoy finding out the gender of your child.

I'm personally very excited to find out the gender of my second child so guessing games and old wives tales is exciting for myself and quite a few other women but just for future reference. Don't go around telling women that no one cares because frankly that's not true, YOU specifically don't care and a few others but don't go around being sarcastic and intentially demeaning other pregnant women for being excited about guessing the gender of their unborn child. Xx

Ramzi theory is just as bad.

Its not fun to guess if a strangers fetus will pee sitting or standing however, maybe friends and family would like to guess. It's just a guess regardless. Flip a coin it's 50/50.

  • Thats what a guess is. Its not scientific based.

What is the point of this community? Its obvious from the posters here that its not to share in the ups and downs of pregnancy.

As stated, no one cares. Said as though speaking for all. No one cares that you are pregnant, no one cares that you miscarried, that the ultrasound came back with soft markers. No one cares about your announcement or gender reveal. No one cares about your colour scheme or current cravings.  No one cares to join in pregnancy talk with you. Dont ask questions as no one is a professional and no ones previous experience matters..

So basically...there is no point to this forum?

My husband sits to pee when he drinks too much because cleaning the bathroom is his job. Boom. Take that, old wive's tales!

Can he teach mine to clean the bathrooms ?

I have found that it's a very supportive community in regards to topics that are important/ that matter.
Miscarrage / abnormal ultrasounds/ etc... are not comparable to the funzies of guessing where a baby will urinate from.

There are threads about nursery decor, symptoms, baby names etc. with tons of ideas and advice.

The "gender" guessing threads are never fun and if people would spend a little time searching the topic instead of starting a new thread you would see how well they go over.
