After talking to H about it (see my original rant lol) I did decide to go with the Boba 4G Carrier - it had great reviews from users who purchased it with the intent of being outdoors and doing a lot of hiking with it. Another thing I really liked is that it did NOT require a separate infant insert, and is made to last through the toddler stage which is nice. Plus, it's one that H would feel comfortable wearing in public which was important too. https://www.boba.com/baby-carrier#Slate
FWIW, I still love the Tula one and would have gone with that if H hadn't thrown in his two cents at the last minute (even though his logic totally made sense).
That was way longer than I intended it to be. Sorry for the novel, but that was my thought and decision making process for which one to register for
Aw, that's too bad. I love my toddler Tula. I really want a Seaglass standard tula but decided a Twingo would be more practical. You might like the Lillebaby, too.
I used a K'tan with DS at home and it was really nice. It was pretty easy to figure out which I liked. My SIL is borrowing it now and likes it, too.
FWIW, we have an actual hiking carrier that we've used in Colorado and liked it for that purpose. The canopy, pockets, and structure were nice for hiking. H thinks it's more comfy, too.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
I've just spend 4 hours in urgent care to find out I have a viral lung infection, ugh. I can't return to work this week, and, according the the Dr, need to stay in bed as much as possible. This sounds like it will be a fun week...double ugh!!

I got a Lillebaby (the all seasons one) for the new baby and I am really excited about it. It is also one that doesn't require an infant insert and can be worn in a bunch of different positions. I didn't get out much when DD was little, but I found an awesome moms group and am out with them usually twice a week, so I know that this baby will get worn a lot.

FTM here (so no real experience), but we registered fr the all season lillebaby for the same reasons: no insert needed, multiple carry positions, etc.
I also plan to purchase a solly wrap to wear baby around the house.

Oh no! Hope a little R&R gets you feeling better soon!
re:carriers/wraps (I know there's a thread on this, but I'm lazy). Is a solly similar to a moby, but with less fabric? Both our babies were winter babies and I had a moby, but it got hot even in the cold months. With this being a summer baby, I'm wanting a wrap with less fabric. Help!

---trapped, ugh---
Yes, that's what I understand: Solly wraps are lighter weight fabric, and just have less fabric overall, so they're a good fit for summer babies.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: DH is home!!!!! I missed him a ton and I'm so glad he's home now! My Kate Spade diaper bag came today and I love it!! My mom bought me more maternity clothes which was super sweet of her and I'm really glad because I was wearing the same thing over and over! Symptoms are the same and pretty mild lately. Loving all the movement!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Hoping to try out car seats this weekend if the weather isn't awful
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Wine when not pregnant!!! Any junk food basically!!
Feeling good, thanks! Kidney stone pain was all resolved by yesterday about lunch time, so I've been feeling back to normal since then! Phew. From here on out I will a bit more judicious with my cocoa puffs (calcium) and doritos (salt)...boo.

23 weeks! Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Low blood pressure. Got to take a bubble bath today alone! (Without my toddler.) Feeling lots of kicks! Love it! Preparing for baby? Me? Nope. Not yet. GTKY: Must have snack- Ben and Jerry's The Tonight Dough!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Constant bloody nose, sometimes full-blown nose bleed (I HATE the winter), constantly peeing, terrible round ligament pain on left side, getting harder to sleep. Rave: H finally felt our little girl kick...it freaked him out.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying not to spend my entire savings on nursery decor. Jeesh, expensive!
Questions? Anyone else feeling round ligament pain on just one side after sitting for too long? It makes it almost unbearable to walk for a few minutes; pretty scary. I'm also losing motivation to work out...I was doing so good! But now I just feel so big. Any tips?
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Chips and dips of any kind! Popcorn!
