WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, PNV, CM, CP - all the things except the most important one...HIO!
R/R/CS: I got my first +OPK this morning- which is fantastic, except my husband has been in India for a week. His flight lands tomorrow at 8:30am , and I will be certainly be attacking him as soon as he walks in the door. Temp has been down very low for the past 3 days. Fx that O is tomorrow and not today!!!!
ETA: Gtky: My style is pretty classic, I wear a lot of solid colors and cardigans.
@MNturnsVA Thank you for the advice! Yeah, I know it's supposed to be 7dpo, but it seems like everyone knows CD21 as the shorthand better. Plus I just want to see if my obgyn's office is even willing to order the CD3 test at all before I got into the whole "Actually, receptionist person, I don't O until CD17 usually so I will need the CD21 test to happen on or around March 7th". I figured it was just a go-to-the-phlebotomist type thing anyway, which should make it easy on them. fx. (ETA I temp and my charts are thankfully usually pretty easy to interpret so I'll be able to pinpoint 7dpo when I need to).
I don't care about getting poked a few times if it means I have some answers and something to talk about at this appointment. I'm so impatient for data. Andplusalso unfortunately my doctor has decided to stop obstetrics and do gyn exclusively now, so I wouldn't be surprised if she refers me to an RE instead of, at this point, passing me off to a colleague in the practice who I don't have a relationship with and who may or may not be able to help with whatever issues we're having. I feel like my expectations for this appointment are quite low -- that she listens to my history with ttc so far, reads or orders subsequent CD3 and CD21 testing and/or anything else she thinks I need, refers me to the appropriate specialist, and orders an SA for DH. Anything beyond that I would be over the moon. Hell, even if she just refers me and orders that gd SA I would be happy.

R/R/CS: After having "high" OPK and EWCM for the past 5 days, I had a temp dip this AM so I think O is today. Finally I got a "peak" on my CB OPK right now also. Woohoo
GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? My style is comfy on most days. Yoga pants, comfy tee or sweatshirt. I wear whatever I want to work then I change into my scrubs when I get there.
WAYDTGKU: Temp, CM, CP, POAS OPK, Saliva OPK, extra folic acid, PNV gummies, Cal/Mag/Zinc, SAD lamp to increase FSH & LH, Guaifenesin. DH is taking multivitamin, folic acid & zinc. We plan to HIO 2-a-day in FW.
R/R/CS: DH passed the SpermCheck Fertility home test! So at least his count is good. I just know that being 35 with only 6 months to get it right on our own I'd kick myself if it was something like count we could easily test at home.
GTKY clothing style edition: I SAH, so just plain comfy & layered. Lots of flowy skirts, tanks/camis, sundresses, open-front chunky sweaters, sandals, boots, scarves, leggings, and occasionally boot cut jeans. If I'm dressed up I wear a lot of pin-up style dresses and skirts.
(formerly jparli). Hey ladies! I haven't been around much this week because 1. I have been so busy I'm shocked I've showered more than 2 times, and 2. I try to not check TB as much during my WTO. I have a break today, so I thought I'd hop in. Missed everyone!
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 15
WAYDTGKFU: temping, just stopped OPKs (got my +), and just stopped EPO (helped a little this month)
R/R/CS: I think today is O day based on +OPK and previous months, so hopefully I'll move to the TWW soon... even though those are always the worst 2 weeks of my month. The anxiety is a beast!
GTKY: Comfort! Right now I'm in yoga pants with my Broncos zip up and that's how I dress unless I'm at school, in which case I dress like your standard teacher
Thank you @e=mc21 - I assume you've not had a problem testing that way and it tells you once you're going to O? I've been using the Clear Blue Advanced in previous cycles so this method of testing is new to me. The only reason I switched is because I don't want to use my advanced OPK when DH will likely be gone when I O but I still want to test since I'd like a better idea of when it happens.
R/R/CS: I went for my yearly appointment with my OBGYN this morning. She gave me a referral/script for DH to have a SA done if after this current cycle and my next cycle do not result in pregnancy. While I don't want to get to that point, at least it's easier having the referral/script paperwork ready so I don't have to go back to her at the beginning of cycle 6 for that paperwork. She also said that if the SA comes back normal, she would have me go to an RE based on past medical history. I am keeping very positive thoughts that we don't get to that point.
I had an awful TTC weekend between our Saturday evening surrounded by friends with newborns and the 3 Valentine's pregnancy announcements on Facebook. I was not in a good place this weekend!
GTKY - When I'm at home, I live in yoga gear but at work I would say I'm more trendy.

@sldp123 - Sorry you had to deal with a nurse that wasn't very helpful. I would say, depending on what time your appointment was on Friday and then again today, I wouldn't be too concerned with them growing 1 and 1.5mm. "They" say they should grow 1-2mm a day, so I am a bit surprised they haven't grown more, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. The u/s tech takes an average of the two measurements they take for each follicle, and it could be, if this was a different tech, that they don't measure the same way. If you're worried though, I'd definitely call the doctor. GL! @whiska - I'm all about destressing too. I have my first acupuncture appointment on Thursday, and hoping that'll relax me. GL and I hope you can get some tests started/on the books. I hope you get answers soon! @PennStateCait - FX for CH! DH had the man cold last week...it was pathetic. But hey, -4 timing?! Totally possible it could be your month! @mokay19 - Oh no, so sorry to hear you have a migraine. Go home and rest up. Hope it gets better! I hate it when I tell myself "I'll just sleep it off" and then it's still there in the morning. GL with your metformin trial! FX you O! @longliveregina - Sorry you're having a tough time. Hope your day (week!) gets better. *hugs* @MrsDho11 - I was feeling guilty for spending money on acupuncture, but since my Dr. referred me to someone I'm getting a good deal (IMO). Even if I do it twice in a cycle, it's only like $125 total. And if I only do it once and realize it's not for me, then ok, I'm out $65, but at least I gave it a shot. I have my FX for you this cycle!

WAYDTGKU: Not so patiently waiting for my CD12 u/s...
R/R/CS: I'm ready to find out if the letrozole worked better/same/worse than the Clomid. The side effects were a cake walk compared to the Clomid, but then part of me thinks "you weren't a crazy hormonal nut job...the meds couldn't have worked." Deep breath, good thing my appointment is a little over 24 hours away. I can hold off the crazy for that long (I think...I hope)!
Gtky: My style is classic/trendy blend. I love having staple items in my closet, but do like some of the trendy items as well. I'm also a sucker for a good coat. These days, if it weren't freezing out, I'd wear a dress every single day. I love dresses!
ETA: I'm all about destressing, NOT distressing. Thanks for nothing autocorrect.
@TrulyBlessed22 haha well that's why I'm not sure. I am getting slightly darker lines but I haven't Od this month yet, I would assume people who use this method aren't letting the pee sit out for hours, finger test to make sure it's the right temperature, and then take the test. My lines are slowly getting darker each day as I come across O, but I'll be sure to update you on future WTO threads assuming it does eventually test positive!
WAYDTGKU: Waiting for AF to leave! Never been happier! 65 day cycle was a killer!
R/R/CS: Nothing to say here, going to enjoy this time of finally knowing something is happening. Then start temping again, and tracking my signs! Happy happy to be back on a new cycle!
GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? Tell us how you like to dress. I am a very classic person, I love jcrew and anything that could be worn forever! I would rather spend more on something I will have for years.

Heard back from the doc via her nurse. She doesn't want to order anything - blood tests, SA for DH - until she sees me. I honestly wouldn't be upset waiting until the scheduled appointment if subsequent medical appointments didn't take so darn long to get. It just takes weeks to get any little thing done or results read or face time with a doc. Also the nurse brought up the fact that my insurance won't cover any of this infertility stuff until my doc has essentially certified that we've been trying a year. This is all bull. [this is me harumph-ing back to work and trying to chill out].

@ReesaAnne16 Happy birthday! Your 30s will fly by compared to your 20s!Fx for a birthday baby this cycle. ********question*****************^ Month/cycle: 2/2 AL cd 12 WAYDTGKFU: Everything. Question for those who mucinex to improve CM-at what day do you start using it? I'm trying EPO this cycle and it's not doing anything yet, thought I would add mucinex to see if that helps.
R/R/CS UGH still sleeping like crap, but my temp stayed down this am, so seems like things are on track to ovulate this week. I have been ovulating around CD 17 past cycles and would go with that, but im not sure what EPO and acupuncture have done to my cycle. Going to BD 7 times in the next 10 days most likely. I'm not sure how your relationships were, but back when we first start dating, sex 7 times in in a weekend was not unusual for H and me. Now I'm trying to get myself psyched at the prospect. Of course H assures me that he's up for the task. We'll see!
GTKY- I'm so much about comfort these days. When I do have to go out, I'm pretty classic. Girly blouse from the Lauren Conrad collection, cardigan and jeans are my staples.
R/R/CS: REs office just called and I guess my E levels are too high and they want me to reduce my dosage (after increasing last week) I really wish the nurse would've listened to me on Friday when I told her I was concerned about this...even though it's been several years since my last cycle of injections my body is still responding pretty much the same. I'm just worried this cycle will be scrapped now.. Ugh
GTKY: I used to have a pretty classic style when I worked in an office setting, but now I pretty much just go with what's comfy. I still have my classic pieces that are my go-tos when I want to look put together but that doesn't happen that often.
@cjt121413 how awesome that your doc is being proactive. Although I did not have an MC, I'm pretty sure I had an anovulatory cycle last go around, and I can promise that 45 days is more than enough. It was torture waiting to start over.
@longliveregina I'm so sorry you're feeling fed up with TTC. I agree that your husband's doc is borrowing trouble and that it seems unnecessary. Cross that bridge if and when you get there, doc!
@TheRealVeronicaSawyer I am taking my first cycle of EPO now, and I definitely notice a difference. It took about 9 days to be productive, though. I've read anecdotal evidence that higher doses can mess you up, so you might want to start with the dose you've got and then move up if you don't see any changes.
@NamelessAria I had never heard of SMEP before. What an interesting concept!
@houseofsetters ugh I'm so sorry you're having issues! I was right there last month and decided to stick around in TWW, and it was super depressing. FWIW, I started vaginal temping this month and I'm SO much happier with it. There are no downsides, as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully you won't have to go there, though!
@babymish it sucks that you woke up so much, but hopefully FF will figure you out. I'm kind of in the same boat. FF has never not moved my CH after more data was entered, so even if it doesn't figure you out right away, it'll probably catch up.
@ShallowSeas I could see the case for O on CD13, 14, or even 15. FF may give you CH and then move them if your temp continues to rise. No matter what, your timing is good! FX that it all shakes out right.
@megzb510 girl I am right with you. FX for O soon.
@nwegman7878 I actually think your temps look pretty good. They're a little high but at least they're in the same range. Have you put another blanket on the bed or turned up the heat or anything? That can really eff with your temps.
@teamginger13 sorry AF is sucking. I hope things went well with talking to the RE.
@BusinessWife ahhh you've come over to the digital dark side! I still want to see your pretty paper charts!
@1017Shannon It looks like O on CD18 to me. What happens if you add another high temp for tomorrow?
@sparty18 FF should be able to handle a fallback rise. You could always discard that day later on if it totally messes up your chart.
@lecool girrrrrrl your chart looks good for O. FX that those temps stay high!
@gonetothesea it doesn't look to me like you've ovulated yet.
@H4apartyof5 when I have inconsistent sleep, I do a LOT of note-taking in FF. I note how long I slept and whatever other information I think might be pertinent. That way I have stuff to make note of when I play with my chart later. I hope it doesn't end up being an issue for you, though!
@kristah2 if you don't O, you'll eventually get AF - it may be early or late. But honestly, for a healthy woman, an anovulatory cycle is not all that likely. Don't borrow trouble!
@writeress watery CM is still fertile! You may have "ovulation spotting" or you may just be having random spotting. Bodies are weird.
@TrulyBlessed22 I think they just don't want you using cold (refrigerated) urine. So, like, it's not good for a doctor's office to use. My Wondfos work just fine without letting it sit.
@e=mc21 oh no! I hope you start to feel better soon.
@mokay19 sorry about the migraine. I also had multiple patches of EWCM during my long cycle. It's super frustrating.
@whiska yep I have more grey sweaters than I have fingers and toes, I think. DH has threatened to destroy a grey sweater for every new one I buy. BUT THEY GO WITH EVERYTHING! Sorry the call from the doc was not what you wanted
@canavara your post is kind of confusing me... maybe I'm just reading it wrong. Why are you taking HPTs so early? As for the multiple OPKs, it's possible to have multiple LH surges in one cycle. So you may not have O'd yet, or you may have done but are still surging (or surging again). Are you temping to confirm O?
@PennStateCait FX that you can move to TWW! -4 timing isn't bad!
@sldp123 I'm glad you got that real first positive OPK... I'm still waiting on mine. Eff that nurse, though. She sounds like a B.
@virginiaham I totally agree that the first few days of the chart are snoozers. I like having more data to play with.
@MNturnsVA heyyyyy girl! I'm glad my story was somewhat amusing. I could probably do without another weekend like this for a while. That said, I had a LOT of fun and I probably would do it the same way if I had it all to do over How are you doing??
@missa0830 FX that your timing will still be good when your husband gets home!
@nursemarie9 ahhh it seems like so many people are Oing today! FX for you!
@GhanimaAtreides yay for the SA kit! I want my husband to do one but I feel like he'll be a baby about it. Any tips on getting him on board?
@wineo929 I was just wondering about you. Hooray for good signs and moving to TWW!
@beary67 I think it's great that your doc is being proactive. One less thing to worry about.
@NordyNM89 I definitely know where you're coming from with the side effects thinking, but it could also be the opposite! Maybe since you tolerated it so well, it worked better!!
@Zoey1019 yay for the end of the seemingly-endless cycle! Happy for AF girl was me two weeks ago. I'm glad you feel a little refreshed.
@NordyMN89 Thank you for the reassurance. I had both ultrasounds in the morning, and it was the same tech, but that's still good to know about the average measurements. I just hope they are big enough. Typically I get a positive OPK the day before I O, so if that stays the same, they don't have much more time to grow. I debated called the doc, because the whole point of me going in today, I thought, was to see if there was progress from Friday, and I don't feel like the nurse looked at that. But then I decided it probably doesn't matter at this point since I'm getting ready to O on my own anyway, no matter the size of the follies. So I'm just going to see what happens I guess.

R/R/CS: I'm on my 6th day of flashing smileys with the CBA OPK and I'm starting to get annoyed, plus FF gave me an open circle this morning even though I only temped 15 minutes earlier then normal. I also got a major temperature drop this morning so maybe I'm about to O, but who know? I attached my chart in case anyone has any insight. Also does anyone else have to pee constantly right around O?
GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? Tell us how you like to dress. I'm pretty classic in my style in my personal life, but for work I have to wear a uniform so that's pretty dull
@lcsrva Mine was really ambivalent so I just went ahead and ordered it (they're $38 or so on Amazon, $40 at Walgreens). When it showed up in the mail a couple days ago his curiousity took over I guess? Why should we have all the fun peeing on sticks, squinting at lines and such? He was like, genuinely excited to find out once it was here. Maybe it's the same curiousity that causes us to take personality tests in hopes of knowing ourselves better?
Of course, I might have promised I wouldn't side-eye his alcohol intake if he passed. Normally I give him a hard time when I'm WTO.
WAYDTGKU: temping, opks, pnv's, sex, tea, really focusing on diet and exercise right now and also trying hard not to stress
R/R/CS: I love this part of cycle. AF has departed so sex feels more fun than like business
GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? Tell us how you like to dress. Lol I just asked FI how he classifies my style and he said "comfortable" haha so I guess that leaves out classy/trendy. He is right though - I love anything comfortable so maybe sporty? I wear minimal makeup and never wear dresses or skirts unless it's absolutely necessary
@lcsrva Ha, re-reading my post I can see it being confusing I just took a HPT to make sure I wasn't somehow unknowingly pregnant from the last cycle since I know OPKs can pick up HCG too -- my AF this cycle was super, super light. I've been temping and saw it spike half a degree on CD13 (same day I had ECWM) but it's been a very positive dark OPK for about 8 days now... which seems kind of crazy, but then this is my first month charting maybe not though
R/R/CS: DH finally came home after being gone for 5.5 weeks. Luckily it's right around the time I'm supposed to ovulate but I've only been charting for 3 months, I don't totally trust I'm 'back to normal'. However, I just got my very first positive OPK this evening and we get to do the BD one more time before he heads out until Friday. Will doing the BD twice in 1 day before expected O be a good move? I hope so. I was pretty confused about my charts this month but hopefully it continues smoothly. Fingers crossed!
GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? Tell us how you like to dress. I'm still a total tomboy. I would call my style simple and classic. I am pushing myself to buy more dresses and do my hair and makeup more often. I'm digging it. My go to is pretty much anything Banana Republic.
First time posting here. So here we go. Excited to be joining your community and learn more.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 6, maybe -6 DPO?
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, learning to study CM, BD, some vitamins, vitamin E for him and methylfolate for me (I probably butchered the spelling of it), getting adjusted tomorrow (chiropractor) and maybe some acupuncture this week before tuning in to the O show.
R/R/CS: my partner tried to make a baby for two unsuccessful years with his ex-wife and then she turned up pregnant with a close friend of his soon after the divorce. They weren't doing it very often and were both pretty unhealthy/overweight at the time. I hope he and I don't have the same fate awaiting us. I hope we find ourselves in that lucky 20%. All we can do is hope at this point.
GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? Tell us how you like to dress. I'm all about that yoga pant life. I'm dressed like I can pick up a spur-of-the-moment Zumba class any day of the week ... although I tend to never make it either of the two gyms I joined last year. Eh, Maybe I'll make more of an effort tomorrow....
@lecool and @lcsrva Thanks for your input on EPO! I haven't noticed too much of a difference in my cm yet, but I've only been taking it for a week. I think I'm going to keep taking the same amount for this cycle. Maybe I'll increase it next cycle if I don't see a change.
Welcome @MayhamNCheese! I'm the same way about going to the gym. I plan on going every night. I'm all for it when I'm at work and even on the drive home. As soon as I get home from work and sit down though, I'm done for. I need to start going in the mornings, but I know I'll never wake up that early!
@kenya715 That is awesome that your DH came home right in time for O. I think that BDing twice in one day may not give sperm time to regenerate, but I don't think it will hurt. Whenever I've had IUIs, the doctor always told us to BD that night as well.
lcsrva Thanks for the tip. I haven't added any blankets but I live in IL so the temps dropped significantly this past week. DH is a human furnace so maybe I've been snuggling up to him a bit much this week to stay warm. I always feel cold.

GTKY: Comfort! Right now I'm in yoga pants with my Broncos zip up and that's how I dress unless I'm at school, in which case I dress like your standard teacher

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, OPKs, BD, EPO, Yoga

GL!
GL with your metformin trial! FX you O!
@longliveregina - Sorry you're having a tough time. Hope your day (week!) gets better. *hugs*
@MrsDho11 - I was feeling guilty for spending money on acupuncture, but since my Dr. referred me to someone I'm getting a good deal (IMO).

WAYDTGKFU: Everything.
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: injections, trigger, IUI
Me: Endo, PCOS, septated uterus (mostly removed)
DH: perfect

@DiFazette I hope you're not getting sick!
@Mrsdee15 chart looks great for O. Fx for you.
@TrulyBlessed22 I think they just don't want you using cold (refrigerated) urine. So, like, it's not good for a doctor's office to use. My Wondfos work just fine without letting it sit.
@shwee25 Fx for that one more high temp!!
That said, I had a LOT of fun and I probably would do it the same way if I had it all to do over
@missa0830 FX that your timing will still be good when your husband gets home!
@ReesaAnne16 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
@chloe97 I haven't used Mucinex for TTC, but I would add that EPO took about 10 days to work for me, so maybe give it a little time?

R/R/CS: I'm on my 6th day of flashing smileys with the CBA OPK and I'm starting to get annoyed, plus FF gave me an open circle this morning even though I only temped 15 minutes earlier then normal. I also got a major temperature drop this morning so maybe I'm about to O, but who know? I attached my chart in case anyone has any insight. Also does anyone else have to pee constantly right around O?

GTKY - What's your style? Classic, trendy, sporty? Tell us how you like to dress. Lol I just asked FI how he classifies my style and he said "comfortable" haha so I guess that leaves out classy/trendy. He is right though - I love anything comfortable so maybe sporty?
Hopefully I'm just crazy and I did O but didn't know it.
