Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: launching a new marketing campaign at work today and I'm taking lead on it. Pretty exciting! Symptoms: I think I doubled in size over the weekend...
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Possibly making the little turban headbands out of some of DS's onesies after work tonight
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Popcorn. I love popcorn!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: In continuing with yesterdays rant...I am so effing sick. I caught whatever H had, & then some. I was up most of the night & it's moved into my chest, so I'm hoping to get into the Dr today. It's brutal...& it's my karma for bitching about the dreaded man-cold. Rave: It's 'Family Day' here, so a holiday for everyone. Very happy I didn't have to call in sick today. We also got all of the furniture set up in the nursery this weekend & I catch myself going in there just to hang out every now & then...so surreal! Symptoms: Literally any pregnancy symptoms I might have are being completely overshadowed by whatever this nasty cold has become.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Probably nothing today. Just trying to get better.
Questions? Nope.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Guacamole has been my favourite go-to snack or a girls night lately. I really love buttery popcorn...if I'm at the movie theatre I have to have that. Nachos are also a big hit when H & I have movie nights in.
@DeePaddy24 I had something like that a few weeks ago and it was terrible. Take care of yourself and feel better soon!
How far along are you? 20w5d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Slept decent again last night. Taking sudafed for my sinus congestion really helped.
I'm going to an ortho store today to get fitted for a support belt! Yay!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We hung the art work in the nursery. It's about done now. Just some smaller things to work on like a curtain for a small window and crib rail covers.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? crispy M&Ms!
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Long one. I have asked H several times throughout the registry process if he has any feedback or suggestions to try and make him feel included, knowing that registries and whatnot aren't really at the top of his fun list. He has always said he trusts my research and I've just been going on my merry little way. Fast forward to yesterday afternoon - I had a Target date with my mom to finish up the registry. I got home and H started asking me about baby carriers and if I had looked at any. I told him about the Tula carrier I had on the Amazon registry and he had so many opinions on it and asked why I hadn't thought of one that could be more versatile and used for hiking, since we're outdoors a lot. THEN he saw me looking at infant swings on the Target registry and asked why we needed one of those. He felt it wasn't necessary. DUDE. I love you. I really do, but I have been asking you for your feedback for the last two months. Should have thought about that before I finished the registry.
Rave: Baby is much more active the last couple of days! H loves to rub the buddha. Still waiting for him to feel it from the outside though - I feel like this baby likes to roll more than kick, so it's hard to feel on the outside. Symptoms: RLP. Every. Effing day. Peeing all the time. Boobs. Boobs everywhere.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? See above. Finishing the registry, painting baby's room this week.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Wine (when I'm not KU obviously). Chips & dip. Pizza.
@tjenkins528 Way to be a badass at work That's awesome! @DeePaddy24 Sorry you're feeling so crappy Yay for getting the nursery furniture set up! @Huskerfanz Sounds like you've made some great progress on the nursery! I need to get my butt moving.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: It's snowing and supposed to snow all day and I had plans to run a bunch of errands and go visit my mom today. Although I do have that AWD SUV now... I hate when snow happens on the weekend or a day off, blah. Rave: Feeling the baby kick every day now and I love it. It's a federal holiday today, so no work at least and maybe none tomorrow since we are getting freezing rain tonight. Yesterday we got a quart of my favorite ice cream from BR that's only available this time of year. It's Love Potion #31 and sooo tasty. For valentine's day, DH was really sweet and sent me on a treasure hunt for heart-shaped rocks (different minerals, polished) hidden around the house and a sweet necklace at the end. It was really cute. And enjoyed a casual lunch at a local steakburger place with extra fries, haha. Symptoms: Stomach being squished by baby and rib cage so that's a little uncomfortable (and it's happening more often now), stuffy nose, sore nips.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Decided against "my registry" since I could only connect the BBB registry, not import and display it, and that's where the majority of our stuff is and I worried people wouldn't notice it. So I decided to just go with Amazon and BBB. Most of the guests live near me where there are several BBBs so it should be ok. Also, cleaned out more of the nursery but where to put all my shoes... Oh! And we decided we are going to rip up the disgusting pink carpet and put down a huge area rug.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Pre-pregnancy girls night would be lots of alcohol, chips/dip, and fried snacks or pizza. Movie night is near non-existent now, but would be popcorn or ice cream.
Me - 33, DH - 33 Married - May 2014 DH - Low Count/Motility/Morph - Varicocele vein x 2 - surgery (8/11) - success! BFP - 10/10/15, EDD - 6/20/16 - It's a BOY! Baby #1 - 6/29/16 - Lucas Christopher, 10 lbs 3 oz, 22.25 inches Baby #2 - TTC May 2017 BFP - 9/10/17, EDD - 5/26/18 - It's a GIRL! - RCS May 22nd
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Raves: Kidney stone is definitely gone. Phew. Today's a holiday for me, so it was nice to sleep in. Lots of baby kicks. H felt a good, strong baby kick this weekend, and it put the biggest smile on his face. Nursery furniture comes today!
Symptoms: Peeing all the time. Sore boobs. Noticing a little heartburn more than usual.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Shampooing nursery carpets today and spackling the walls. Working on a crocheted baby blanket
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Chips and dip Brownies Wine (pre-baby) Jalapeño poppers
@tjenkins528 I am similar to you in due date, and I also feel like the baby and I have had a major growth spurt in the past 3-4 days!
How far along are you? 24w5d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave - We're moving on Friday, and my in-laws came to town yesterday and helped us pack. It was sooo helpful! My MIL packed up almost the entire kitchen, which was the part I was dreading the most. Symptoms - Mostly just sore from being on my feet all day and evening yesterday. So many trips up and down stairs. Days like today I'm thankful that I sit at a desk most of the day.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We finally found a carseat - the Graco Head Wise - and it's on sale at Target so I'm going to try to go pick it up today.
Questions? NBR, but how much do you typically tip movers? Advice on the internet seems to be all over the place on this. There should be three movers, and they estimate about 7 hours total for a local move in a mid-sized Midwestern city. We'll have packed everything, so they will be taking apart furniture, loading and unloading, and putting furniture back together.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Popcorn always, wine when I'm not pregnant
Is anyone else adding anything and everything to their registry? I'm adding a wide variety of items at all ends of the price spectrum in preparation for the baby shower that my family is hosting. However, I am also including items that we intend to purchase ourselves - the only reason I'm putting these things on the registry is to get the completion discount after the fact. Is that ok? Anyone else doing that?
@DeePaddy24 - That sounds awful. I hope you get better soon!
Hooray for all of you who are almost done with your nurseries! That's impressive!!!
@mrsschmity - I added everything. I figured it can't hurt in case people want to purchase stuff and if not, no biggie, we'll just buy it ourselves!
How far along are you? 21w4d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Headaches ALL.OF.THE.TIME. Rant: I shrunk my new maternity shirt in the wash because I'm dumb and don't read tags, I have to return 2 pairs of maternity pants because they make me feel like a frumpy whale, we're supposed to have an ice storm today, and it's so so so far away from Friday. Rave: If it does storm, I might get to "work from home" and watch Downton Abbey and nap! And H felt the baby move last night!!!!! His response: "That's creepy... what does it feel like for you?" and then he left his hand there for 10 minutes in case he could feel it again. It was adorable.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? My parents ordered us a glider for the nursery and my in-laws offered to buy us our crib! Our parents are awesome!
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Anything fried and that includes cheese... And pre-baby, some sort of adult beverage!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant- DH didn't want to go register with me, and for some reason it ticked me off so bad. Symptoms- RLP all weekend, and still have PUPPP rash that itches constantly
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I registered at BRU this weekend!
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Wine, cookies, brownies, anything sweet really!
I added everything- even the mattress that I went and purchased myself a few days ago. You get cash back at BRU for the things you and your guests buy
@Kballew10: Sorry about the headaches Yay for your DH feeling baby kicks!
@mrsschmity : Yep, add everything. I literally checked off everything on the BBB checklist and then after SIL reviewed, took off anything that we wouldn't need. It's nice to have a full picture of what you'll need and easy to see what's left after your shower to get (and get the discount). I feel like I would just forget if it's not on there (pregnancy brain and all that). Together I have over 100 items on the registries - just wanted to be really thorough.
@crdo : Glad your kidney stone is gone! Zantac 75 has really been helping with my heartburn if you need to take anything for it.
Me - 33, DH - 33 Married - May 2014 DH - Low Count/Motility/Morph - Varicocele vein x 2 - surgery (8/11) - success! BFP - 10/10/15, EDD - 6/20/16 - It's a BOY! Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Up 3 times to pee last night... bloody noses/congestion...and my chest was SO SORE middle of the night, I swear it better not be getting any bigger!!! I'm not off today for Presidents Day like seemingly the rest of the world!! Rave: DH and I had a wonderful time at our wedding venue for the Valentines Ball - I promised a picture of me in the dress so see attached!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? The girls nursery bedding I want is 25% off this weekend so I'm ordering!! (Pic attached)
Questions?
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Wine (obvi when not PG), and a good cheese platter, Brie, feta, etc.
@mrsschmity I'm putting everything on the registry for the discount, plus you never know some ppl like to make "baskets" etc so they may include the small items you put on there for bath/medicinal etc. I'm using it more as a shopping list for us too! I hear you about the DH struggles with the registry - I get frustrated when he doesn't really get involved/says he trusts me, but then when he does have an opinion on something I'm like - hey buddy where you been you can't just but in this late!
@deepaddy24 I hope you feel better! Good for you for getting a lot done on the nursery too, enjoy the day off! Rest up!
@Huskerfanz sounds like you're getting far in the nursery - good for you!
@tjenkins528 good luck with work! How crafty are you making headbands from onesies?! Would love to see!
@crdo so glad the kidney stone is gone!! Hooray! Good luck with the nursery furniture delivery!!
@bakerbird525 Its crappy out here today too - snow & freezing rain, and I'd much rather be off than having DH & I driving to work! That ice cream sounds devine!
@annaf2011 Good luck with the move! How nice is it to have had help over the weekend! Score!
@DeePaddy24 I hope you start feeling better soon. However, I’m still sure that you’re handling
it better than H!
@Huskerfanz WooHoo for a support belt! Hopefully it helps you out!
@mrsschmity I understand the frustration with H. I have asked so many times what his opinions
are, and I’m just waiting for him to come back with questions or opinions that
he has not said anything about yet. And
I think it is fine to include the things that you plan to buy on your own. I know that a good friend was surprised by a
group of friends going together to buy one of her bigger items, so you never
know what people will want to get you.
@crdo So glad for you that you have relief from the kidney
stone and you have time to sleep in today!
@kballew10 How exciting that H got to feel baby move – I love
his response!
How far along are you? 22 + 3
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: It’s Monday. And it’s
going to be a long one. Yuck. Rave: I think that some semblance of a
sex drive may be back. Thanks second
tri!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Still trying to figure out a registry
GTKY: What's
on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? When not pregnant, wine, cheese, charcuterie, and
crackers. Now I still love the cheese
and crackers, or other salty snacks like chips and salsa/queso/guacamole.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Need to stop eating everything. Symptoms: Weight gain, thanks to eating everything. Rave: I love eating everything
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I'm finally letting myself do some real planning for this baby. Colour schemes for nursery etc. I've decided that our positive u/s last week means everything will be ok. So, my very important baby decision this week is...........navy. I think navy will be a good colour to base the nursery on. (I know this is ridiculous, but it's all I got).
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Smartfood, dill pickle chips, ruffles plain chips and French onion dip, skittles, sour jujubes, choc chip cookie dough ice cream, cool ranch doritos and a big mac. (please see above mention of me eating everything).
p.s. Still can't figure out why my name suddenly changed on here! I am not Knottie6184651568491681698!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: My boobs appear to be leaking... A clear oily substance? Other than that, nothing new.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying to find a good Pack N Play mattress, or find a bassinet. We already have a crib, Pack N Play, and Rock N Play so I don't really wanna spend money on a bassinet - seems excessive. However, we need something for our room and the Rock N Play is not recommended due to SIDS. The "mattress pad" that came with the Pack N Play sucks - it even has dents/divets in it. Might call for a replacement. Of course we threw the registration card away though..
Questions?
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Chocolate-covered almonds, raisins, AND(or..) bananas!
Married July 2014 DD born June 2016 Second due August 2020 (team green!)
@mrsschmity I did the same thing for the completion discount and also just to keep my on personal checklist of things I have researched and want.
How far along are you? 24 weeks
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: My animals are driving me nuts! I don't know if it is something about my hormones but they have all lost their minds. We haven't gone a day without cleaning up dog or cat pee/vomit/poop in at least two weeks. They are lucky that I love them because H and I are beyond frustrated. Rave: My H did a great job on Valentine's day yesterday. It was mostly low key ( I had breakfast and lunch in bed) but with a nice dinner out. We decided not to do gifts this year since we have a babymoon coming up but he wanted to do a little something. He bought really sweet frames and printed and framed some of our wedding pictures from three years ago since we never had any printed. He is not a crafty or sentimental guy really so I thought it was very thoughtful. Symptoms: Still over here literally about to scratch my skin off. I am almost convinced that I my have a mild/early case of PUPP. I am calling the doctor as soon as his office opens to find out what my options are. I am waking up in the middle of the night with my skin on fire!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Today organizing some of the stuff that needs to be moved out of her room.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Pre-pregnancyine was the only must have although queso & salsa were high on the list. Currently probably still salsa and queso.
@Knottie1454980160 and/or @CourtJack - Don't feel bad about the "navy" decision. All I had was "grey and white" until H stepped in and said "That's boring, let's paint the walls green". Decision made - green walls, grey and white stuff. Now, if only we had a room to paint (or a house to hold that room). Moving sucks. I cope by also eating everything! I could have continued to list snacks, but it seemed easier to just put fried and cheese. But thanks to your response, I would now like some chips with french onion dip...
@MeganF08 - I hope your animals and your itchy skin start cooperating!
@mrsschmity I’m definitely adding anything and everything to
our registry. I put a glider/ottoman on our bru registry that I was expecting
to just buy with the completion discount and someone actually got it for us.
You might be pleasantly surprised. If not – at least you get a little bit off
the price when you buy it yourself!!
@Kballew10 Yay for parents contributing to the cause!!
How far along are you? 24 weeks, happy viability day!!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Went out to dinner with H for valentine's day last night and he talked about politics the whole time. It was an interesting conversation but still... not getting me in any sort of "mood". Rave: Someone got us the baby carrier on our registry and I am SO excited since that was one of the things I was thinking I'd have to buy myself. Symptoms: My nose is so stuffy. H literally tells me every 2 minutes to blow my nose and it just doesnt help.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? My baby shower is this weekend in florida so there's that! Otherwise, just waiting for crib bedding to get here so I can pick a wall color to paint the room.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? So much wine. And if I'm with my best friend from home, its always been cheese/crackers, chips, and these triple chocolate chunk cookies from betty crocker. At least we have a routine.
Happy Family Day, fellow Ontarians. We may go snow tubing today (very safe -- manicured lanes, no trees or rocks, conveyer belt to take you back up to the top -- please no flaming! haha). My husband worked yesterday, so we are thinking about just having a cozy day together. Side note: it has been SO weird to know that a nice bottle of wine isn't included in my Valentine's Day plans this year.
How far along are you? 20 + 5
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Threw up yesterday, then ate like crap for the rest of the day because greasy food was the only thing my body wouldn't throw up. I had so much energy a couple days ago, I don't know what happened.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Registering and thinking about baby stuff.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Wine.
@MsBeachNJ Glad you had fun! I was going to register for bedding, but a store nearby had a massive sale so I ended up buying it. Sigh. I have to stop shopping.
@bankssl1 Sorry your husband wasn't more involved in the registry--I know this probably isn't much of a comfort, but I think this true for a lot of men and not at all indicative of what kind of dad he's going to be. My husband would come with me, but I haven't asked him to because I know I would be annoyed at how little he knows.
@kballew10 That's great of your parents! My mom has been really generous so far, but my in-laws... not so much. All they want to know is the baby's sex so they can buy clothes. We're team green and they know this, but refuse to stop asking. So flipping annoying. Sorry about your headaches.
@mrsschmity We don't have a cash-back option at BRU like the American stores have, but I would absolutely take advantage of that plus the completion discount. Plus it's a nice way to aggregate the things you like and want to buy, even if you don't expect guests to buy them. Co-signing what everyone else has said. I'm always that person at a baby shower that makes a basket out of all the little stuff, because I'm inevitably shopping last minute and that is the only stuff left. But I justify it, because sometimes that's the really necessary stuff that gets forgotten about and the small stuff adds up!
@DeePaddy24 Ugh, I'm so sorry about your cold. Feel better!
@Huskerfanz I may have missed it, but what artwork did you decide on? Being nosy, as usual.
@crdo That's great that your husband got to feel the baby! My husband keeps trying, but he always picks moments when the baby's not at all active.
@Bakerbird525 Sorry about the snow! But you've got a beast of a vehicle to drive through it, on the bright side.
@annaf2011 Depends entirely on how good they are -- I've tipped as high as a 150 per mover (for a 5 hour move, but they were super efficient and careful which saved us money because they got it done faster) and I've also not tipped at all when they have been slow and/or careless. It's worth checking to see if the movers will get the tips themselves. I never tip the company, because I'm not sure that always goes to the movers themselves so bring cash and make a game-day decision based on the quality of their work.
@MsBeachNJ you look wonderful! That dress is beautiful.
How far along are you? 24, today!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rant: Oh man. I slept terrible last night. Rave: It's a holiday I don't usually get off but because of my work situation at the moment, my boss closed the office today - mostly because HE didn't want to work but I'll take it. H is also off today and we rarely have full days off together so that's fun.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just have a few more things to add to the registry.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Usually a hard cider, popcorn and some kind of ice cream. All of the ice cream.
How far along are you? 24 weeks, my viability too due date twin @chelseay416
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: HOLY LIGHTNING CROTCH. You girls weren't kidding! WOW. It's awful! I straight up forgot to get H a VDay card and spent the day crying about what a "terrible wife" I am. Hormones suck. Rave: H was/is fantastic with all these pregnancy symptoms.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Picked up some letters and paint from Hobby Lobby after crying in the aisle that I might mess up my first project for my boy and that he should be prepared that his mother isn't perfect. Holy hell, these hormones can eff off.
Questions?
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Beer (obviously prior to LO, and because I'm allergic to wine), chips and chocolate chip cookies!
@mrsschmity we did the same thing for the same reason.
@DeePaddy24 feel better soon! Being sick and pregnant is no fun!
@deepaddy24 - so sorry you're sick! I've had a head cold/really bad cough for over a week now and it's so frustrating! @mrsschmity - DH did the same exact thing with DS! And I registered for everything! @BakerBird525 - That ice cream sounds amazing! @crdo - Yay for nursery furniture! @annaf2011 - It doesn't help I may have overindulged yesterday for Valentine's day Or it's just time for our baby bellies to pop! @MsBeachNJ - Hoping you have an easy and quick Monday! Not sure how the headbands are going to turn out.. I found a link on pinterest and the ones I like on Etsy are like $8 each.. I'm just trying to be cheap before splurging I'll post pictures when I do it! @knottie1454980160 - Your post just made me hungry for all the food. Mmmmm
@deepaddy24 Ugh, I'm so sorry this bug is kicking your butt. I hope you feel better soon.
@mrsschmity I feel your pain...H does that all the time (the "I have no opinion" crap until he does). I'm sorry, it is irritating. We did just the basic stuff for the registry but I think I'm going to add more to down the road.
@courtjack Hope an admin can fix your user name? Also, navy rocks!
@crdo Thank GOD your kidney stone is gone. What a relief I'm sure!!
How far along are you? 23 w, 5 d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Feeling much better...cold seems to have gone away.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We put the crib together this weekend! It only took an hour!! 24 week checkup is this week too! Also, think we may have settled on a name but we are still mulling it over.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Popcorn with lots of butter.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: rant: heartburn sucks. And I woke up at least 8 times last night. Pregnancy dreams are weird. Rave: we finally picked a preschool for our daughter for next year and dropped off the registration this morning. Symptoms: see rant
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I think I'm going to spend some time on the registry today.
Questions?
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Sour fruity candy and an icee if I'm at a theater. If I'm home usually some ice cream.
@chelseay416: Nice someone's gifting you your carrier!
@catherinekate: Sorry to hear you were sick yesterday. Hope today's a much better day with all the festivities you have planned! And thanks! I always yell for H when the baby's kicking or snatched his hand and put it on my belly is he's nearby, and half the time the baby's stopped kicking. Sneaky kid!
@Huskerfanz I may have missed it, but what artwork did you decide on? Being nosy, as usual.
Going simple for now. Each crib has a burlap canvas that will have their first initial on it once their names are public. And a string art animal. Later, I'm going to add framed photos or canvas photos.
I also have jungle animal prints up that I got from etsy.
If I feel like it looks too empty, I have some zebra wrapping paper that I can put on a canvas or some cute jungle animal foot print art.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Did our registry on Saturday and am ordering a pack of the Fuzzibunz from Costco for a ridiculously amazing price with the next couple of paychecks.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? Wine or sangria and popcorn. Yum.
@MamaNicoleof3 - I was looking at the Fuzzibunz from Costco but wasn't sure if I should get them. Have you used them before?
No, but a lot of my CDing friends love them. We used BGs when our kiddos were younger, but the microfiber holds smell and I'd love the bamboo/cotton blend so avoid that issue.
After talking to H about it (see my original rant lol) I did decide to go with the Boba 4G Carrier - it had great reviews from users who purchased it with the intent of being outdoors and doing a lot of hiking with it. Another thing I really liked is that it did NOT require a separate infant insert, and is made to last through the toddler stage which is nice. Plus, it's one that H would feel comfortable wearing in public which was important too. https://www.boba.com/baby-carrier#Slate
FWIW, I still love the Tula one and would have gone with that if H hadn't thrown in his two cents at the last minute (even though his logic totally made sense).
That was way longer than I intended it to be. Sorry for the novel, but that was my thought and decision making process for which one to register for
@crdo so glad your kidney stone is gone!! @MrsBeachNJ love the dress! @DeePaddy24 I hope you feel better soon.
How far along are you? 22w2d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: DD did amazing at the dentist's office and her teeth look great! Symptoms: stuffy nose and not getting the best sleep at night.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Researching how to best, and safely, paint a crib. And betting it's going to be a pain.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? BOOZE. all the booze.

Rant: In continuing with yesterdays rant...I am so effing sick.

Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Long one.
Pizza.
@DeePaddy24 Sorry you're feeling so crappy

Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
@Kballew10 : Sorry about the headaches
@mrsschmity : Yep, add everything. I literally checked off everything on the BBB checklist and then after SIL reviewed, took off anything that we wouldn't need. It's nice to have a full picture of what you'll need and easy to see what's left after your shower to get (and get the discount). I feel like I would just forget if it's not on there (pregnancy brain and all that). Together I have over 100 items on the registries - just wanted to be really thorough.
@crdo : Glad your kidney stone is gone! Zantac 75 has really been helping with my heartburn if you need to take anything for it.

However, I’m still sure that you’re handling it better than H!
@Huskerfanz WooHoo for a support belt! Hopefully it helps you out!
@mrsschmity I understand the frustration with H. I have asked so many times what his opinions are, and I’m just waiting for him to come back with questions or opinions that he has not said anything about yet. And I think it is fine to include the things that you plan to buy on your own. I know that a good friend was surprised by a group of friends going together to buy one of her bigger items, so you never know what people will want to get you.
@crdo So glad for you that you have relief from the kidney stone and you have time to sleep in today!
@kballew10 How exciting that H got to feel baby move – I love his response!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: It’s Monday. And it’s going to be a long one. Yuck. Rave: I think that some semblance of a sex drive may be back. Thanks second tri!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Still trying to figure out a registry
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? When not pregnant, wine, cheese, charcuterie, and crackers. Now I still love the cheese and crackers, or other salty snacks like chips and salsa/queso/guacamole.
How far along are you? 22w4d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
My boobs appear to be leaking...
DD born June 2016
Second due August 2020 (team green!)
@DeePaddy24 and @kballew: Ugh, feel better soon!
@BakerBird525: Thanks! I'll keep that Zantac in mind!
@annaf2011: Good luck with the move!
@tjenkins528: Congrats!
@Huskerfanz: Wow, way to go on the nursery!
@bankssl1: PUPPS does not sound fun. Hope that clears up before too long.
@MsBeachNJ: You look gorgeous! And I love that bedding! And thanks!
@mrsallikat: Thanks! And Woohoo for sex drive
@courtjack: Hope an admin can fix your user name? Also, I think navy's a great color!
@samsonator: Good luck figuring out the pack n play/bassinet situation.
@mrsschmity I’m definitely adding anything and everything to our registry. I put a glider/ottoman on our bru registry that I was expecting to just buy with the completion discount and someone actually got it for us. You might be pleasantly surprised. If not – at least you get a little bit off the price when you buy it yourself!!
@msbeachnj GORGEOUS! Looks like you had fun!
@mrsschmity - DH did the same exact thing with DS! And I registered for everything!
@BakerBird525 - That ice cream sounds amazing!
@crdo - Yay for nursery furniture!
@annaf2011 - It doesn't help I may have overindulged yesterday for Valentine's day
@MsBeachNJ - Hoping you have an easy and quick Monday! Not sure how the headbands are going to turn out.. I found a link on pinterest and the ones I like on Etsy are like $8 each.. I'm just trying to be cheap before splurging
@knottie1454980160 - Your post just made me hungry for all the food. Mmmmm
@deepaddy24 Ugh, I'm so sorry this bug is kicking your butt.
@mrsschmity I feel your pain...H does that all the time (the "I have no opinion" crap until he does). I'm sorry, it is irritating. We did just the basic stuff for the registry but I think I'm going to add more to down the road.
@kballew Ugh, I hope you feel better soon!
@annaf2011 Good luck with the move!
@tjenkins528 Congrats! Go on with your work-bad-ass self.
@Huskerfanz Wow, way to go on the nursery! I'm so far behind! We just have the crib up.
@MsBeachNJ You look so freaking pretty!!!
We have this one and really like it. I just use a regular crib sheet and tuck it under a bit.
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
rant: heartburn sucks.
I put everything on my amazon registry for the discount and so I have a list of what I need in one spot.
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
Sneaky kid!
@ahernandez16: enjoy your unexpected day off!
@shannonrnbsn: Isn't pregnancy glamorous?! For what it's worth, I'm sure your project will turn out beautifully!
@mkemommy: Lawd, yes! Also, love that crib! Very pretty.
@pbear93: I'm sure it feels good to get preschool taken care of!
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Eh, just preggo junk
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Did our registry on Saturday and am ordering a pack of the Fuzzibunz from Costco for a ridiculously amazing price with the next couple of paychecks.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc?
Wine or sangria and popcorn. Yum.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0128ZFI1A?keywords=tula baby carrier&qid=1455561846&ref_=sr_1_2&s=baby-products&sr=1-2
I also registered for a simpler carrier for me to wear at home - that was my original intent with the Tula. So to compromise I got this for wearing at home;
https://www.target.com/p/boba-wrap-classic-baby-carrier/-/A-14634294?registryId=8uSsex6zt0biIfysG_rKMA&regTitle=Lindsey's&regMode=REGST&rType=R&itemLineNum=73&reqQty=1&regPurQty=0&regPage=RMI&preSelFlag=1&cr=true
FWIW, I still love the Tula one and would have gone with that if H hadn't thrown in his two cents at the last minute (even though his logic totally made sense).
That was way longer than I intended it to be. Sorry for the novel, but that was my thought and decision making process for which one to register for
@MrsBeachNJ love the dress!
@DeePaddy24 I hope you feel better soon.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Researching how to best, and safely, paint a crib. And betting it's going to be a pain.
GTKY: What's on your must have snack list for girls night, movie night, etc? BOOZE. all the booze.
