This is Squirt (he came with the name). This is one of the only pictures I have of him where he isn't sprawled out sleeping somewhere. He's basically a cat.
I also shamelessly have this picture on my desk at work.
Ooh I love this thread, sorry in advance for pic spam.
Savvy our beloved and very spoiled tabby cat. She's a rescue cat, but we think she's about six now. I had no idea cats could be funny or have personality (we always had dogs--sadly, our golden retriever passed away a couple years ago) until we adopted her--I mean, until she adopted us.
Here's our doof of a dog. His name is athos, we think he was a hunting beagle who didn't want to or was bad at hunting. He's definitely gotten used to the pet life as he refuses to go outside if its too hot or too cold and he complains if its even a minute past dinner time and he hasnt been fed yet. He's in for a huge reality check when this baby gets here...
@Sgoldberg247 beagles are my all time favorite! I have one too, but this app won't let me post him. I had 2, Buddy and Lola, but I had to put Lola to sleep last November, she was only 7, but very sick. They are the sweetest dogs around. My Buddy is 9 now and he lives with my mom, he beautiful but fat.
This is Henry. He's my fat, lazy, annoying at 3am, but beyond cuddly hunk of fuzz. My sister adopted him as a present for me for my college graduation in 2009 as I was already looking for a new kitty. Met also have a bunny named Reggie, but he's hiding and I can't find a picture on my phone.
I love this thread! My little Luna is my first baby, turning 4 this month. She is a rescue dog, so we aren't sure on her breed, but perhaps a small labradoodle. She's incredibly smart and is the sweetest pup I've ever met. She loves to hold hands and put her forehead against mine every morning when we get up. Last year she became paralyzed from an explosive disc rupture in her spine. One very expensive emergency surgery and months of rehab later, and she is back to her old playful self. Docs orders that she shouldn't jump or do stairs now for risk of reinjuring another disc, so we carry her a lot. She is going to be the best big sister and shower our little girl with kisses.

Sorry to hear about Lola, its never easy to lose a pet, even when you know its in their best interest.
Agreed that beagels are great. We got really lucky with him, he doesn't destroy things or howl or bark which is awesome. If only we could get him to have good recall when he catches scent of something....until then, he's got a 20 foot leash so he can sniff things without us having to go in the woods or mud.
Brody (top) is our 1 year old cockapoo and Murphy (bottom) is our 3 year old. They are my favorite things in the world, and they absolutely adore each other
Sorry, this is the best picture I have on my phone. These are our rescue cats that my daughter is reading books to. The top one is Abby, she is about 4 and is a tortoise shell. The lower one is Zane and he's mostly grey and is around 11. We adopted them together 1 week before we found out I was pregnant with my daughter. Zane's story broke our hearts--he was the favorite cat of an old lady who had a stroke and couldn't take care of them anymore. The story about how we got them is hilarious. My husband always says "sometimes your out shopping and have to poop and end up going home with cats"
This is my rescue dog, Kash. He is a very serious dude. If he were a person I think he would be an old, condescending professor in a tweed jacket. This is his usual pose. Especially when you're eating!
Here are my three adorable terrors! Shiner (4th of july) stains (in the wig) and ruby (with her baby) they're all a mess but we wouldn't change them for the world.

This is Rugby, our best guess is he's a greyhound/pointer mix. He's my favorite thing in the world (for now).
My German Shepherds name is Bella and the black one is a boxer/pointer mix his name is Ace.
