What is your favorite maternity item?

Do you have something you just swear by? Love more than anything else for your pregnancy?

My favorite item is my towel. Its a normal towel, except it is HUGE. You don't realize how nice it is to be growing bigger and bigger, yet still be able to wrap a towel all the way around your body. Somehow makes you still feel normal!

Re: What is your favorite maternity item?

  • I did not think this would fit with fashion. a towel is not fashion. I guess I was thinking more practical items which could include clothes like a bella band or something, but open it more to things like a tool, or a special pillow, or yoga ball, etc...

  • I most appreciate my Snoogle body pillow for my hips when sleeping and baking soda for reflux and deodorant (not using antiperspirant because I'm also nursing) ... I could get by without everything else but those two things are very helpful.

No really though, a body pillow.

  • How about my giant exercise ball?  I spent the whole third tri with my last baby bouncing and doing squats every night.  When I was laboring that ball was great, too!
  • Tennis shoes. Especially in 3rd tri when my feet puff like balloons!
  • Snoogle!! I can finally sleep through most of the night without shifting from one side to another. DH had a hard time putting the cover on due to its weirdly curves at the ends but I think we both appreciate how much it has helped me sleep! Happy wife, happy life :)
  • I have to go with a body pillow, too. I wouldn't be getting much sleep without it.

I also picked up some sea bands the other day and they seem to be helping with the nausea... at least a little bit.

  • The DH's clothes. For some reason, feeling so sick weeks 7-11 and bloated, all I want to wear is his shirts and cozy socks.
