@MRSCORKER I'm binge watching it all over again as we speak! This morning my husband sat down to do some work and I totally caught him watching too. I know he loves it.
@Hillzy30 YES. My WHOLE family is filled with football fanatics and my husband and I are the black sheep. I LOATHE IT.
I'm in the last season, had to rewatch the series before the revival comes out! But I have to admit the show gets reallyyyyyyy bad by the end. How many times are we going to flip flop between the men, come onnnnn. Still watch it though lol guilty pleasure
@Hillzy30 I don't understand it either and there are some seasons DH doesn't care others like this past one he was all about it so annoying I just nap during the games
@smmatt08 I drink everything with a straw so, yeah I hate getting the plastic hot but I do it anyway.
My probably super-unpopular opinion: I don't understand why people need different stuff for a boy or a girl. I think it's really creepy to shoehorn babies into gender roles like that. I mean, I will absolutely have a couple of cutesy dresses if it's a girl and probably a onesie with a tie on the front or something for a boy, but so many people are saying they would wait to buy things until they know what gender to buy for and that just blows my mind.

I'm with you! We found out what we were having with DS just because I'm so damn impatient and I didn't want to think of two names. We got sooooooo many blue clothing items at my shower it was ridiculous. I missed out on more important things from my registry because people were so hell bent on buying ugly "Little champ" onesies.
This time around I'm on the fence if I want to find out the sex or not. I have no problem using some of DS's clothing for a girl and I might put touches of a coral color in the nursery even if it's a boy. If we do find out (because I'm impatient and I only want to think of one name), we might keep it a secret from everyone else so that we're not inundated with clothing again. (especially if it's a girl)
I'm not really into gender stereotypes in general though. DS has baby dolls, a pink stroller, Minnie Mouse and Abby Cadabby dolls as well as a plethora of trucks, trains and tools and he loves them all.
UO: I'm going to judge your younique names. Different is fine, butchering a name spelling so little Lisebith can feel like a snowflake or picking a random word you read in a book is not.
@RainMira9e This is one of the reasons I changed my mind since getting KU from always saying I'd want to know the sex right away to now wanting it to be a surprise. I really want all of the decor in the nursery and most of the clothes and toys to be totally gender neutral.
@PeggyOlsonFTW@Blonde1817 I would never be able to not know myself - but my plan is to not tell anyone before the shower and maybe announce at the shower. I might let the grandmas know and let them buy cute outfits - but only if I can feel convinced that they won't just tell everyone!
I love Gilmore Girls and big bang theory! My uo is that I detest strawberries. I hate everything about them. I don't even want them to touch something else I'm going to eat. I hate the way they taste, the texture and the way they look.
@RainMira9e I had thought of that idea, of announcing the sex and maybe the name at the shower, after people buy all the presents. But at the moment I really do feel like a surprise would be so exciting. The only problem with that is that DH and I can't agree on a boy name, so if we find out it's a girl ahead of time we won't have to deal with that fight lol.

The "We're pregnant!" drives me up the wall. No you're not!! Pregnancy is a physiological state of being. So unless you are two female partners who are both pregnant or you are a transgender person who is KU with your partner who is also KU, the correct phrase is, "we are having a baby."
WORF: I did not come here to
admire the scenery.
DAX: If you say so. I guess we should just go
home.
WORF: Well maybe. I would not be so hasty.
DAX: I take it the scenery has improved?
WORF: A few months ago, when I was commanding
the Defiant on a scouting mission in the Gamma Quadrant, we encountered a
protostar cluster, a swirling mass of colour set against a background of
glowing clouds and burning sky. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever
seen, until now.
DAX: I've got to take you on vacation more
often.
My US is I despise all of the MLM, tupperware, thirtyone, It works, jamberry, etc companies thathat people basically harass their friends to buy junk they don't need off of each other for absurd sums of money. I mean of I wanted to look at the catalogue I'd ask, please don't fill Facebook with posts about it, or continuously drop by with flyers or catalogues.
omg i'm loving some of you ladies so hard right now after reading through these.
My UO - I loathe the whole football culture. People whose lives revolve around games, people who start fights over teams or whatever else, and parents who deck their kids out in team apparel make me throw up in my mouth a little.
I don't hate football and i enjoy getting together with friends on a Sunday to watch the games when we have nothing else to do, but i HATE when my husband tries to use it as an excuse or reason that we can't do something on Sundays for 18 weeks. Before we had our son, i didn't really care, but now that we only have weekends together to do things with him, ABSOLUTELY NOT. I make sure he knows it too.
As for the clothing, my husband will/would buy for our son, but our son picks out a lot of sports stuff for himself because he "wants to be like daddy" and/or "i LOVE the Rangers!" (The NY hockey team)
